@ramu-chan The lack of scanlines option in this weirdly led to me changing tack and going for no filter on all my Neogeo Switch games and all my other emulation as well......quite enjoying the vibrancy of it all now.

@Krull Apart from FIFA and Shenmue 1 & 2, my PS4 hasn't had a look in since the Switch came along. My first Nintendo home console since the NES, and its absolutely been worth waiting for. A brilliant machine. New games that aren't really a mile off the top generation consoles, more than offset by being portable (as someone who travels a lot for work this is huge). Add to that how it's turned into an old school arcade gamers dream and it really is the dogs danglies of a console.

@Robzilla I can vouch for that pad too, its excellent for these type of games.

The only ones rattled are Nintendo Life.

@Guiltygear It's the principle that people have a problem with, and the possibility that this sort of thing could be become commonplace. It's not hard to fathom really is it, holding an opinion on something which the potential impact affects the whole, rather than the person's specific situation at that moment.

You could always hope to find it on the second hand market. Something obviously not possible in the digital marketplace.

@JoakimZ Its the thin end of the wedge. Even if you don't mind the changes, it's what it represents in terms of a potential precedent. I can absolutely understand their reasons for it, not the SJW nonsense some people are spouting, but the certificate they're aiming for. But people never have taken kindly to enforced censorship especially applied retroactively (see the many people in my opinion being rightly dumbfounded by Spielberg changing the guns to Walkie Talkies in the 20th Anniversary Edition of E.T. by way of an example). I feel that if they wanted to operate this way then maybe these were not the licences for them, and they should have continued creating their own family friendly tables. Obviously this is a capitalist environment and they had every right to acquire those licences, but I think people have a good case to also be unhappy about the artistic integrity aspect.

No surprise at all they've screwed this up, although the way they've gone about it is a bit more unexpected. Another reason it's a pity that the licences were lost.

Overall glad I bought it but I couldn't believe how pathetic the online mode is. Not being able to play the full board experience online is a travesty really, and having 10 mini games available is rubbing salt into the wound.

@MeloMan The anime is absolutely outstanding.

If you've seen the series, which is fantastic, then my advice is to steer clear of this visual novel because it will be an incredibly tedious way to relive it. But if you haven't seen the series before, it will probably be quite fun.

@tonyhoro I agree. There's a warmth (which I suppose is triggered by nostalgia to this of us of a certain age) to graphics like this.

@NintendoFan4Lyf It would make sense to have the option. Been playing Mario 3 on NES Classic lately, when you play on switch the buttons feels off and it's a little annoying. I think it's because the angle of the button layout. I'd much prefer B to run, Y to jump ifnI had the choice.
