I think that the Mario account credits this, rather than the other way around. As of yet we haven't seen accounts for any other of the dormant franchises such as Golden Sun, Earthbound, etc. If we see those I'll be less likely to believe these have any significance, but who knows.

@Moon I don't think it necessarily discredits it. They could use the 35th account to post stuff about the rumoured collection and still use the F-Zero account to say nothing.

Its kinda disappointing that we never got any new themes, I was really hoping for an SM64 or even an Odyssey theme in the vein of 3d world. Oh well

@Chrysologus Although it would be cool, an SMB 2 style is out of the question at this point considering the last big updates are behind us and we got the SMB 2 mushroom.

@EdwardElric Well, assuming these are real games, they are probably gonna be tied in with the heavily rumoured direct, and if all they have in the way of first party is old remasters they are in trouble. Also charging 60 a pop for some of these games probably isn't going to fly. Its more likely that 64, sunshine, galaxy 1, and galaxy 2 are all in one collection, and the other games might be some other older titles like 3d world, prime trilogy, Pikmin 3, and hopefully a new game as well (Botw 2 possibly?)

The lack of technical polish is kind of disappointing, not gonna lie. I expected a bit more out of this. Oh well, I might just wait for a sale now or see if it's better on other platforms.

I'm glad clubhouse games appears to be doing well so far, I think it's the perfect game for dlc, maybe some more games in the style of darts and bowling?

@chardir Yep same thing here I couldn't even being myself to play it after 2 games a lot of people I know badger me to play it cuz I'm good at at shooters but dang it was boring. I still don't get how people like it so much. All I know is that I've lost several friends online because they stopped playing good games and started playing fortnite.

I'm going to replace my foundation with switches. Automatically earthquake-proof.

1. When is it ever necessary to see every part of the box anyway and if you direly need to see it your best bet is to go to a store anyway.

2. I don't think you read the end of my comment While on the l surface it looks while GameStop has higher pricetags if you know their system which is actually pretty easy it's not difficult to farm store credit and I've even managed to get cheap consoles (my switch cost $100) and have gotten numerous free games.

3. If you're looking to play the game early GameStop is the way to go in fact I was their for the RDR release last night that wouldn't have been possible with Amazon.

While I agree that GameStop has flaws so does Amazon. You're not getting it that much cheaper if you have to pay shipping and handling unless you have the prime membership which you also have to pay for. To each their own though.

Unpopular opinion- I actually quite like GameStop as the industry is going more and more online (Amazon type stuff) or digital it's nice to still have a place that holds a large number of physical games. Plus if you exploit the system you can get some cheap stuff.

While I own what would be considered a gaming phone (Razer phone) I would never think of it replacing my switch. In fact I only have 1 game on it because there was only one decent game I could find. Honestly it only appealed to me for the 120hz refresh rate and long battery life.

If this is what no man's sky had first been like I would have stayed even farther away from it. I would get it but I spend a lot of time in handheld and I'm wary about how well it'll run.

Edit: After seeing videos on it I'm gonna forget this one. If this was a $40 game maybe but they're trying to charge $75 plus loads of dlc to unlock the whole game.

@JamesR It might just be me but it seems that the more you use a dice block the more unlucky you get with it. For example at the beginning of a game I got 5 straight 6s with Wario which has a 13% chance of occurring which is rare but it might just be luck. However after that I rolled 5 -2 coin rolls only a staggering .4% probability (I triple checked the math) bringing that sequence of events to an insanely low .052% probability. It could have just been a strange event but that seems unusually bad for an ingame occurance since a computer would normally be decently consistent unless somehow weighted. I'll have to play around more to know for sure though.

@Dr_Corndog Unless you are tight on coins and a star is up for grabs movement trumps any coin gain/loss probability. You aren't gonna win the game by getting coins with your dice and you aren't gonna lose the game because of lost coins either. The best way to win the games imo is to get a consistent dice (shy guy, wario, boo) and win the minigames.

Great read. Not particularly fond of the series myself but Super Mario Party is starting to change that.

Personally I’ll take shy guy every day for the consistency. Haven’t lost a game due to bad rolls yet.

Edit: also glad to see that they nerfed Rosalina a bit. Her dice was ridiculously OP at E3 if I remember correctly. It was basically Bowsers block but you moved every time.

Edit 2: After several more games it's close between Shy Guy and Wario. I have realized that losing coins is almost never too bad and Wario has 6s instead of 4.

@TenEighty It was the same thing for me until Odyssey but I know some don't like it either.

To all the jokers hating on this review how about you actually play the game before going off on NL and Nintendo. Just an idea

@BladedKnight The original escapists is on game pass. It still isn't as good as the sequel and it's not for a lot of people but I would recommend giving it a shot.

@BladedKnight I would suggest giving this the sequel or original a chance. I like the 2 mainline ones but I can't bring myself to touch the Walking Dead version. It's just a poor spin-off trying to make money off a popular brand IMO

Edit: Do it on PC/other console though so you don't have all the bugs

I've visited this site every day for almost 2 years now and it''s sad to see how far down the site had come particularly since Thomas Whitehead left. For the amount of workers you guys have it seems like there is very little effort going into the articles of which there are only a few per day. Not surprised. Besides the Xb elite and potentially the steam controller this is my favorite controller and this has a way better price tag than Xb elite.

As much as I loved the DS family they could never hold a candle to the psp/Vita for me. In fact I play my old psp as much as the switch
very sad imo.

While this says it "easily became the biggest game of the month" Minecraft recorded > 75 million players as well so Fortnite might have not been the biggest game. Either way that's pretty unknown and Fortnite had a bigger daily playerbase.

This is just an issue in Europe as over in Murica we already have them. Either way you guys aren’t missing out on much. The connections are insanely laggy

I enjoyed playing Trials Fusion when it was free on XB Live Gold. I don’t know if I’ll pay an extra $40 to get the same experience on the go but it’s tempting.

Been looking for a racing game like this for a while. Will be checking this one out!
