A part of me kind of wants 2048, but given the knowledge that it's a clone of Threes (available on Android/iPhone) I don't know that I can support it. They kind of stole Threes' thunder on Android/iPhone....Threes isn't expensive, but it's hard to beat free, which 2048 is (ad supported). In fact,it was a really crummy thing to do to them.

I'd use it if I had an antenna good enough to get the broadcast channels around here. I'm not paying for cable TV and it's 100 channels most of which I don't watch.

Hm, yes. Only big thing I can think of (unless they can speed loading further, but I doubt it...and honestly, it's in a decent spot right now anyway) are a better account system, like others have said. Cross-Buy/cloud saves would be great too. Also, folders.

Oh thank god. I really liked Skyward Sword, but I was so tired of Fi by the end of the game. Only so many times she can reiterate the same information until I've gone insane.

what I'd like is a Gamecube styled Pro Controller.

Also, in the teaser, I'm pretty sure I heard Viridi in there. I feel like it's unlikely they'd have gotten her voice actress in there for just one line. I hope she's an assist at least. Wouldn't it be cool if she were an alt or Palutena though?

@tebunker Haven't had any problems with my USB drive, so no. I made sure to get an enclosure that isn't USB bus powered though (I don't know if that's the problem you're having, like you're saying it is...that doesn't make much sense. AFAIK, the USB bus gives whatever power it gives, would there even be a way of throttling it?).

@gatorboi352 I don't care about the onscreen friend notifications, but it's definitely time for Folders. I was a bit dumbfounded that they didn't include them in the first place after doing it on 3DS.

I don't know why, but I feel the need to point out that WiiFit U does have dance stuff in it (maybe you just meant that it didn't have licensed songs of any sort). Glad I didn't buy this...I did sort of look at it and say "hm, well, not a bad concept, maybe GF would like it." I'll be on the lookout for this company in the future, at least I know now not to buy anything they put out (like someone said in the review of that kid's game's comment section, they're "0 for 2").

@Pahvi you can turn all the standby stuff off in the System Settings (for people wondering, this includes the 'Gamepad Notifications').

I'd been wanting to take a week of vacation, so I actually asked for this whole next week off. I'm going to be keeping a lot of E3 stuff on in the background probably. I can't help but get excited.

Better than the alternative, though I don't think I agree with them claiming the videos in a lot of cases.

Seems like the kind of thing I could get into. Looks decent for alpha footage from a game like this (it being alpha is perhaps something everyone should keep in mind).

This description says a lot of things that sound pretty great to me. Hope we find out more about it soon.

I could be up for this. It seems infiintely better than that ridiculously cheap looking game with the penguin (whatever that was called...besides terrible I mean).

The thing about multiplayer on these titles is that from what I've heard, the link cable is notoriously difficult to emulate (I'm sure some people are like 'DO IT ONLINE' but the strict timings it requires makes this a bad idea). Seems like a lot of work for little benefit (for me at least, I don't think I've played a GBA game in multiplayer even once). It doesn't really have to do with emulating multiple GBAs...I'm sure WiiU could handle a few GBAs at once, it's the extreme flakiness of the link cable that's the actual problem.

I seriously doubt it would ever work on 3DS, because the wireless would add all sorts of latency that would again make it very difficult to do. It seems like a lot of work for very little benefit, and I can't say I blame them for not doing it.

I'm glad they included the Virtual Boy. It may not have been a success (or even that great really) but it's an interesting part of their history when you realize that it was in some ways the predecessor of the 3DS.

@unrandomsam unfortunately there are weird issues there...Nintendo apparently doesn't own the code for the arcade version.

This sounds like a horrible idea...Pokemon at least is a turn based RPG, so one could feasibly pull it off eventually, but Zelda?

Is Retron5 Android emulators? From what they've said when I asked them, I was under the idea that it was 'clone' hardware, with an Android layer setting on top of that (allowing the various extra features).

I think it might. It's a truly fantastic game. I hope they go back on their decision to not release in Europe, everyone there deserves to play it too.

Hm, not quite sure how I feel, but it seems like they're trying something a bit different, so kudos to them for that. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out.

Given that they've done nothing interesting on a Nintendo console in some time, it might as well be dead regardless of it he really thinks it is or not. They can feel free to prove us wrong though.

I'd personally be very unhappy if Iwata resigned. Very seldom to I look at the CEO of a company and say to myself "I like that guy".

Haha, calling the snowman 'allegedly humorous'. I haven't see the movie, but ever promotional thing I've seen of it that has this character in it, he just seems unfunny. Maybe one day we'll get past the need to put funny mascot/talking animal characters in every kids movie.

@PrincessEevee9 I never said piracy wasn't illegal, I also never said I was 'in favor' of piracy or some such thing (in fact the hardcore pirates out there piss me off). I get it though, you just wanted to complain, this is the Internet after all. Wow, they're freaking jerks. At least the region free hack has a legitimate use, their card pretty much is only good for piracy (let's be honest here...since it's one game at a time and no homebrew or anything that can be used, that's the size of it).

@gatorboi352 Most of their games are (and have been) available on multiple platforms, Steam included. I don't think Toki Tori 2 was ever meant to be a WiiU exclusive.

@JaxonH The game ITSELF requires an update...presumably there were some bugs post-launch that they wanted to fix. You need to go to the eShop for that (I should point out that you don't go to the eShop to do system updates), but you can't, since as of this time a US system can't access the Japanese eShop. Please, read up on this a bit more. IT did not take me long to click through and read up on this.

@JaxonH No, you don't lose online stuff...you just can't play Monster Hunter 4 online because apparently it requires an update, and you can't access the Japanese eShop on a US system, thus you're locked out of playing it online.

@unrandomsam Oh, yeah...I wondered about that as well. I'm going to assume it's because what Datel were doing didn't really hurt their bottom line as piracy could, and that it would have cost more money than it was worth to pursue that lawsuit.

@unrandomsam It's not strange at all...it seems they don't figure things out themselves, but wait for someone else to do it then use the exploit, which is unfortunate (it would be far from the first time they've done something like that). You're giving them too much credit. I used to really pay attention to the DS homebrew scene, so I heard a lot about that, haha.

It's too bad I can't do this (3DS is on a current menu...I want access to all the features). Then again, I couldn't really think of anything in particular I would want to import (the Hatsune Miku games maybe?).

I don't know, I think Mirror of Fate's problem is that it isn't good. I have played naught but the demo, I honestly hated it though. It also seems like it has frame rate problems, which never helps.

What's the one in the header? It looks really familiar, but I can't quite remember what it is.

Good lord, again? Oh well, more than likely they'll hand out a spanking to these guys too. Unbelieveable. I still believe they're patent trolls...no one makes all kinds of innovative products (as these guys claim) then doesn't bother to put them on their website.

@SageWaterDragon the WiiU is? It has more RAM than an X-Box 360, yes? If X-Box 360 can run that version, I'm sure WiiU can as well.
