Ah, Linkedin. A site which allows professionals to connect, proclaim their achievements and even seek new adventures in employment - but also a place where job descriptions can unwittingly reveal hidden gaming projects.

Take the profile of Monster Games software engineer Joshua Ruis, for example; he's been employed at the studio - which has worked exclusively on Nintendo software for the past decade - since February last year, and has posted on this Linkedin page that he's been working on an unannounced title which seems to be based in the racing genre:

The line relating to "championship" and "career" modes has since been deleted from the entry. Those two modes would suggest that Monster Games is working on some kind of racing title - hardly a big shock, as the company has previously produced many offerings in this genre, including NASCAR Heat 2002, Test Drive: Eve of Destruction, Excite Truck, Excitebots and Excitebike: World Rally.

The studio also created the 3DS launch title Pilotwings Resort and was responsible for the ports Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. Given its track record with Nintendo, it's fair to assume that this new game is also headed to a Nintendo system - but which one? Could it be NX-bound, or do you think it's a shock Wii U or 3DS release?
