Music fanatics, prepare your eardrums. Platinum Games announced today that the complete soundtrack of 127 tracks from its excellent title The Wonderful 101 is getting a digital release.
Split into two volumes, the soundtrack would supposedly have needed five CDs in order to have a physical release, so our shelves can breathe a sigh of relief as our hard drives take the strain instead.
The tongue-in-cheek lyrics from the main theme remain intact, and the sound quality is apparently a step-up from that of the music on the game itself, so audiophiles shan't be left in the dust.

Nice this game had some really awesome tracks.
The only music track i can recall from W101 is the track that plays during boss battles! Only because it reminded me of the Street Fighter 2 intro music for some reason.

Ah man. Really was hoping for a physical release.
I may get sometime in the future but I'd want to get the game first, MK8 free game was my best chance of getting it but I got Mario & Sonic Olympics instead.
@BigH88 agreed i was looking forward to a physical release just like the Bayonetta 2 OST…but regardless i can't complain because this is awesome news! Hopefully word of mouth continues to spread and even more people buy W101 2013 GOTY!!!!

This game is so amazing, more people should play it! Until now Wonderful 101 is Platinum's Masterpiece.
I finally finished the Wonderful 101 a couple of weeks ago. I'd got a bit frustrated at one point, it seemed like it was just repeating itself, and took a break.
But the last 5 hours were the best of the whole game. Its absolutely brilliant, dazzling madness.
I'm short of money at the moment, but I plan on picking this up in the future. Such an amazing game

I really like Kamiya, he seems like one of the few developers that truly does care about the fans. I still have to pick this game up though. .

This game's so great. To me is the best WiiU game so far. It deserves more love. Hope the Bayoneta 2 release open people's minds to this masterpiece.

This is one of those games on Wii U that are on my backlog and makes me wonder if I will ever get it. Lego city is also one of those games.
I do love me some video game music though.
I hope other developers follow suit and release the soundtrack in digital and physical format and give it an official release.
