Hoping for.. honestly anything new about DQ3 remake.
We didn't get any info since it's reveal so a new trailer with a release date would be nice.

Same for Dragon Quest Treasures we got a new trailer recently but at the end it said we would get new info this month, which is leads me to believe that we'll also get more info on it since this is probably the only chance left seeing how June is almost over.

Everybody seems to have forgotten about the Steam world 3D game.
Also, shovel knight DIG , Which I would expect to be quite a big game, is never mentioned anywhere. But I’m really hoping to see these announcements tomorrow.

Most of the third party games I'd like to see are long shots at this point. There are still plenty from previous generations that would be cool, but the only recent one I've really felt like I missed out on is Elden Ring.

A Batman collection that included origins (the only one I haven’t played) would be cool, provided they ran well. Double good if I could buy Origins separate.

I never go into any Directs expecting anything, but Persona 3-5 alone would make this a great Direct for me. Bayonetta 3 and Sparks of Hope release dates would be great. Anything else would be a nice bonus: FF Pixel remasters, Batman Arkham collection, Resident evil revelations 3(Switch exclusive RE) etc.

Regardless, pretty excited for tomorrow's direct.

@Anti-Matter I don't have a PS3, it's sadly not within my range of portability. And I do have the Steam versions on my laptop, but Switch is where I fancy the trilogy most. Even if it axes the PC ports' dual audio (which seems to have been implemented in a rather perplexing way) in the process.😆

Not really expecting much I'll be excited for but I'll watch it after work (if I'm not spoiled already) and see what they have, I suppose. As of right now, excitement is very low.

@Big_Fudge I'd say the most likely is Hexen Remastered. We've already had all the Doom titles on Switch and we got Quake Remastered. I'd say it's arrival is inevitable, just a matter of time. The rest of the list... yeah unlikely, especially the EA games.

After they were announced for XBox, ports of Persona 3, 4, and 5 on Switch just seem inevitable at this point and Square Enix making questionable decision after questionable decision makes me doubt FF Pixel Remaster ports so at this point just hoping to hear a definitive release date for the Portal Companion Collection since Portal 1&2 are some of my favorite games ever.

Which do I most want to see, personally? Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. It's gorgeous, and I'm ready. Although they might push it to next year, if only not to drown the system in HD-2D content in 2022.

Which do I most hope is there? Persona 3 - 5. I've already played the games, but there's something very wrong with Atlus if they refuse to port those games to the non-Sony platform they'll inevitably sell best on, and if the games aren't there, the resulting drama will overshadow the actual announcements.

I’d love to see more for the Hogwarts Legacy game, but tbh as long as there’s one interesting announcement I’ll be happy.

I'd say Tactics Ogre and Front Mission. I got my share of p5 on PlayStation after plating royale, but the series is a good fit for the switch.

I would personally love to see Square Enix finally announce a localization of the Japanese PS4 port of Star Ocean: Second Evolution for at least Nintendo Switch and PS4 (maybe more platforms if we’re really lucky). With the upcoming broadcast on Star Ocean: The Divine Force, I think now would be an excellent time to announce a remaster or port of arguably the best Star Ocean game of all time (in my opinion, at least). It’s nice that First Departure is on Switch and PS4. And it’s nice that all the Star Ocean games (except Second Evolution when we’re talking outside of Japan) are available on PS4 digitally. But I think now would be a really great time to announce a remaster or port of Second Evolution with the broadcast for The Divine Force coming so soon. I could easily see such a remaster announced at a Nintendo Direct.

Of course, this all may be wishful thinking. But I continue to hope.

From third-party studio’s, all I want is Persona 4 Golden and the long-rumoured Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster ports. Anything else would pretty much be a bonus.

There are so many RPGs on Switch that I don’t really see the point to demand any more, when there is not a single AAA third person single player shooter on par with the likes of Last of Us2, Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank…etc. I would love to see MGS come back, and having a similar game like Mass Effect, or at least Vanquish, which should have happened long time ago- such excellent arcade TPS and Nintendo has a good long partnership with Platinum! Even though I prefer the Sci fi setting of MGS, could we at least get some Splinter Cell? Besides, maybe we could see the rumored Prince of Persia Sands of Time remake. I would be also glad if Switch got a new Resident Evil or RE VIII or RE2 remake, which was excellent. GTA V could be possible, or new Silent Hill? Nonetheless I would love to see Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie , or Jet Force Gemini remakes. Also, regarding Zelda- capcom made the Minish Cap- could we see a third party make a new 2D Zelda?! Zelda remakes would be still the best to appear if a third party studio made them, but there is not much hope there:/ My last hope would be a new Sin And Punishment or at least remake or remaster of Star Successor or seeing some great older titles come back- like Soul Reaver 1, remake of Eternal Darkness, MGS Twin Snakes, DK racing, or even Lords of Shadow 1/2, Shadow of Colosus, Zone of the Enders 1/2 remasters.

It's not unusual for a game to be announced in the Direct then a few minutes later its also confirmed for other platforms.

@Donutsavant No. There are levels included but certainly not most of Origins. Not only that but they modified/ruined the levels that they brought back for Legends. I love the levels in Origins but was so annoyed with them in Legends.

I was told by GameStop explicitly that since they had received the ability to start selling pre-orders it would not be a cloud version.

Obviously this is not official information, but it out my mind at ease that they could say it with such confidence.

@Screen I'll be sceptical of it being native till they show gameplay of it running on the switch especially if it's supposed to launch alongside the Xbox & playstation versions when they usually come a year of so later

A lot of people are saying Persona, but the one third-party game I want to see in the Direct, more than any other game, is Genshin Impact. I'm hoping they will bring it to the Switch with the Version 3.0 update. I'd be surprised if they brought it to the Switch with Version 2.8 (or a hypothetical Version 2.9).

But frankly, I would prefer to play it on the Switch. Playing it on mobile, I have to deal with frequent crashes (especially when I teleport); playing it on PC, my keyboard and mouse frequently cut out, even with fresh batteries (and I also sometimes suffer from carpal tunnel, and I'm going through a bad bout of it right now); and playing on PS4, I spend more time navigating through system and game updates than actually playing the game itself.

So it would make me very happy to finally see it come to the Switch, and would frankly give me a good reason to start playing my Switch again. It's been a year since I started playing Genshin Impact, and other than playing Metroid Dread and Game Builder Garage, I really haven't played any other game on any system other than Genshin Impact, I'm that absorbed in the game.

This is honestly legit last chance that some cope people were hoping for with “Nintendo wants to announce Persona ports”

If persona don't show up, then we forget about it all for good this time around.

I'm actually really happy about this being a third party direct, we already know Nintendo will bring fantastic first party games to the Switch.

As with every Direct, I'm hoping for Chrono Trigger on Switch.

for all those people who are still complaining about this, we have many 1st party games scheduled for this year. Nintendo knows this and that’s why they give spotlight to 3rd parties.

And another reminder that PlayStation also had a 3rd party state of play earlier in June and it turned out to be pretty decent. If PlayStation can do a 3rd party showcase, why not Nintendo.

The direct mini is almost as long as the state of play so let’s wait and see before we judge too harshly about it.

I expected more votes for the FF pixel remasters.

Everyone keeps saying there’s so much AAA Nintendo content coming, but for me it doesn’t really count if it’s not Zelda, mainline Mario or Metroid. I have absolutely no interest in Nintendo sports games and Xenoblade isn’t really going to be finished anytime soon. Why would they release a game early and then announce that the entire thing will be out in 1,5 years? I’ll be waiting cause I never go back to a game just for dlc

Those Pixel remasters are long overdue and they’re the only thing that could save this direct. I hope everyone gets cloudless Persona though

@mariomaster96 I believe bayo3 and Mario rabbids2 would be second-party titles, since they are created by third party devs but published by Nintendo directly. Doesn't mean that they definitely won't show up however - these two games have been big question marks on Nintendo's release schedule for the 2nd half of 2022 so it would make sense for them to have some kind of presence at the show.

just give us the next release date for the special edition xenoblade 3.

I'm not really excited because... They are all ports. I mean, good to have years old games that aren't on Nintendo platforms yet. And somehow they need to be before the new entry gets released

Unless they're showcasing a new Etrian Odyssey games I really don't care what's in the Direct. It's disappointing beyond measure to not get a full-fledged E3-style Direct with first party announcements.

Third parties are the filler that makes the wait for first parties seem shorter - they're never the main event. So why we're getting a Direct pretending they are, is beyond me. Any other time of the year I'd be fine with a third party Direct, but this is the one time a year I expect a big fully fleshed out Direct with first parties.

New Sega remaster! Or a Dreamcast collection Crazy taxi, jet set, bass fishing marine fishing, 18 wheeler, Sega rally etc

Oh man, the idea of a Castlevania DS Collection just made me feel all warm and fuzzy!

I really, really hope we see the Persona ports, the Batman collection and the Yakuza series would be a dream come true, Kamurocho on the go would be incredible.

@BobLong-RickTangle "Second Party" is not actually a thing, yet it's persisted for decades. Sparks of Hope is a third party Ubisoft developed title with 1st party co-publishing. Bayonetta I. P. is owned by Sega, with Nintendo owning the publishing rights. So, Bayo 3 is still technically 3rd party.
