It looks like an interesting character for sure. I'm pretty okay with this. Especially the swapping mechanic seems cool.

At this point I'm done with battleroyale games. Way too much just walking around doing nothing. But for those who like BR style games I'd say this is one of the better ones, and since it's free you should totally give it a shot! It's also very talented studio porting it to Switch so you should expect a quality port, but it's still a Switch so be realistic with your expectations-

game's very chill and addicting. nothing groundbreaking but does everything quite well and this kind of game is just a perfect match for switch.

These instantly reminded me of Super Mario Maker 2 endless. Wonder why.

@stocko DW man, the reason why that Charizard is so expensive is because it's in perfect condition, and a rare print of that card (there's multiple, with small differences..) For example, I have that Charizard card and it's not even worth 100$ because of the print being a tiny bit different and the condition being 6 at best. So you prolly didn't lose too much on that trade.
FML on the other hand for losing few bitcoins the past 5-6 years that would sell for ~100k today. Don't have any left now.

Besides some Smash Ultimate I'll be busy with Yakuza Like a Dragon. That game is fantastic so far 6 hours in.

Honestly as a casual Pokemon guy I'm not too exited for these. I prefer the old 4th gen engine over the new one any day of the week.

I played tons of Celeste and after 40 hours and 10k deaths I finally did pretty much everything except the absolute ridiculous endgame golden berries. I think I'm done with the game for now but might come back later maybe for some casual speedrunning or reverse map run. I think this game might be top 3 single player game of all time for me, highly recommend!

Besides that I played the usual Smash Ultimate for a bit and on PC side I'm thinking of starting either Yakuza Like a Dragon or Black Mesa. Got those on Steam winter sale.

to me this felt like a mobile game they decided somewhere along the line to port into other systems. bought it on pc and it was already red flag when you couldn't change any video settings. ended up refunding and won't ever look behind. shame cause i enjoyed the first one a lot

My Disappointment Is Immeasurable And My Day Is Ruined.

I like the idea for local play in let's say smash tourneys. But during the current situation that's not really possible. For online this is useless since you need a voice chat anyway, and Nintendo doesn't provide it. Might as well use a PC version while you are at it.

I haven't played the first one and after watching the review and having some interest already I'm going for it.

Fenyx! 10 hours in and I've had such a blast with it. For me this game is everything I hoped for and more. So far my fav. single player game of this year. Aiming to complete it before I hop into the world of Cyberpunk next week.

@MarzipanD ...But now that I thought about it a bit more, out of last 20 reviews on this site the average score is 7,1 so while technically average score is 5, the average score we see here is way higher. I think that's the thought process I had.

I wouldn't call 30fps in a racing game a plus, solid or not.

Switch skip is healthy for fighting games because barely anyone uses lan adapter. PC on the other hand...

Smash Ultimate for sure. It's always stable entertainment, almost never super amazing or frustrating.

Fighting game without online in 2020... I hope the devs didn't expect better scores.

@TimboSlice It has sold very well overall all platforms considered (over 500k I've heard). There's also been tons of support along the way. And game is very active on PC. But Switch version I think is going to have problems keeping that playerbase active online because in this game, if even one player is on wifi the connection is really, really bad. And since Switch has no Ethernet port without adapter...

Anyway, I think game is amazing and a must buy if you enjoy Smash (semi) competitively. But if possible buy it on PC cause that version is superior in every way (Online, Workshop, less input delay)

@JayJ That can also be a positive. Because they have original characters also means they can design them to be wild cause they don't have to mimic their original game. Yeah the looks of the characters isn't anything special but they feel fantastic and the mechanics they have add a lot to the table in terms of gameplay. Anyway, I love Rivals and Smash both.

@JayJ My goal is not to convince you to buy it but it is kinda laughable that you say this game has generic characters while also stating you play ultimate.

Wait so you guys are just ignoring Rivals of Aether? Fantastic platform fighter that just got released on Switch. Online on Switch is bugged now though so I'll stick to PC.
