@Serpenterror The new patch won't change much in that respect because the physical edition already shipped without the most recent patches. I received my LRG copy today, and it was a little disappointing to see it download 4.1 GB into my storage to play the most recent version when using the cartridge (though it could be played with no download).
@RupeeClock It's a little under 23 GB. You can get the individual sizes for each of the three titles (which list as "not available" because they only come packaged together) off of Nintendo's website.
@PharoneTheGnome They specifically say "If there's no review, and it doesn't appear in a previous Reader Recommendations feature" for their criteria on what to submit. It was in the last Reader Recommendations. Continuing to suggest it is tedious and being intentionally obtuse.
Maybe it's because I already have the Mega Man games on the Switch, reading this made me think, "We need a Willow remaster!" more than anything else. Guessing that's not in the cards.
@Magician Was it just the NA physical release that was cancelled? I had it preordered and it was cancelled, but I don't think it's available in other regions, either. I'd consider ordering an EU or JP version if they exist. The only physical release I've seen available in stock is the PS5 one, which is available in NA.
It's a great game! Nintendo Life should also give it a review — it has virtually none across any platform (just 1 for PS5 appears on Metacritic, for example). I wish more fighting games took some risks and built something different, and this one certainly fits the bill.
I've bought a game at Walmart that was still shrink wrapped but missing the game inside. There were no googly eyes or wire to simulate the cartridge--just nothing. Walmart honored the return, possibly because it was 20 minutes later and the same person in the electronics department helping me who sold it initially. Also, I wanted to exchange for an actual copy of the game, not my money back. It's easy to see an added layer to the scenario where because word of googly eyes gets out, people try to do their own replacements and then return them for refunds.
High on my list would be the Final Fight series returning as a belt-scroller in the Streets of Rage 4 vein. Strider and Bionic Commando also seem ripe for a revival.
@LikelySatan I'm late to get to your answer, but these are some great examples, thanks! I don't really do ROMs (my only computer is a work laptop), so I'll have to stick to what's released on the Switch for now, but I wanted to know what others even existed.
Does anyone know of other 4+ player fighting games like Diesel Legacy? It looks great to me. I'm interested in 4+ player fighters, but the vast majority are platform fighters like Smash or quite limited in tag-teams switching in and out.
@Paraka I don't think it's officially announced, but the art sure is suggestive that it is, and it would be yet another remade Sega property, which certainly fits. There are a few places on the web that are reporting Lizardcube's ties to Shinobi as fact, though I don't know if any are more authoritative than the equivalent of some guy's blog.
@MetalKingShield I agree! This studio has to be my favorite of all indies. Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap is the game that got me to return to video games after a long break. I tried it on a whim via Amazon Luna, and within a month I had bought a Switch and Wonder Boy, even though I had already completed it twice on Luna. To me, 8/10 is shamefully underrating how great it is (with the caveat that my tastes favor games like those from that era anyway). Streets of Rage 4 was another early Switch purchase, and again they nailed it. I hope Lizardcube can continue this direction. Check out their "projects" (pretty much some concept art) on their website--I think I'd buy any of those if they saw the light of day, especially "Garou – Mark of the Wolves 2". Best of luck to Omar and LizardCube both, and looking forward to Shinobi or whatever else they do!
@Arawn93 Are there enough of these to make a pattern? Genuinely curious — a quick search turned up Skullgirls, but are there many more? I also found Capcom Fighting Collection removed a couple things, but that's not really long post release, but censored on a new re-release, unless I'm mistaken.
"Although there are certainly moments that tested our patience (Dracula himself is a right cheeky git), it doesn’t ever reach the same levels as, say, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse."
Is Castlevania III notoriously difficult and/or cheap with dealing damage? It's been a good number of years, but I absolutely loved it (10/10 for me when it came out, for sure), and I don't recall it being particularly unreasonable. --
@eaglesfly76 Wow! 75 games! I only have 15, all inherited from my cousins — they moved onto their computers and passed it on to their little cousin, and by the time I had my own money to spend the NES was king. The 15 does include both Dungeons & Dragons games, and I do still have the whole setup, but with no special mods. I play it on a CRT TV alongside the NES, Genesis, and SNES.
I really want the Intellivision to get this type of retrospective. The first 16-bit home system (they probably didn't know how much of a buzzword 16-bit would be later) and first video game system I ever played on.
I submitted three games, none particularly recent, but I didn't see anything saying they had to be from this year: 1. Baron: Fur Is Gonna Fly — Biplanes from the Intellivision updated to modern consoles! 2. They Always Run - Cyberpunk Man with No Name hunting bounties 3. NeverAwake - a shoot-em-up with twin-stick controls with great visuals from the dreams of a little girl Then I started reading comments to see what other people submitted, and, well, yeesh.

Re: Community: Did We Miss A Great Switch Game? Give Us Your Recommendations
@Bizaster Great pick. I'm shocked NL hasn't reviewed it.
Re: Community: Did We Miss A Great Switch Game? Give Us Your Recommendations
Diesel Legacy
Gigabash
There aren't a lot of 4-player fighting games, especially ones that aren't platform fighters, so those two should be checked out!
