It would be cool if they did a physical release with all the artwork included. Maybe a special edition with all the games from the other platforms.

I think the situation would be a lot better with a similar model to itunes were people can download a official Nintendo emulator for their games via a store. ~They could then have access to all the games and pay a small fee for each one, to own, not a subscription. The point being, it would be so easy for people to do, that they wouldn't bother trying to find pirate roms on the internet. Of course you will always get those that will, but it would solve the piracy issue for most cases.

I played the rom of this and thought it was mediocre. Very short as well. Boss battles very mundane. Not sure why it is rated this highly.

@RadioHedgeFund It is just a bit of fun or a "fantasy" , an escape for some people. All they can do is put age restrictions/guidelines on things. People need to take responsibility for themselves and their own wellbeing. Parents need to actually do some parenting and take responsibility of their kids. At a certain age, you just have to assume most people are of sound mind and know right from wrong and what could be potentially disruptive. Like you say, "most" people can draw the line. I think education is the key with this issue, but sadly even today, some kids are still not getting a good one or indeed one at all.

Like others have said, these would have fit the 3DS perfectly. Another nice little earner for Nintendo. I just cannot understand why one of the head honchos at Nintendo never thought of it, but there again, it is Nintendo we are talking about. No GBA games available on Switch either, so they obviously hate money.

Is this X play, say between Xbox, PS5, PC etc?

Rubbish, the Megadrive pad up on the D pad just stopped working one day even though I had hardly used it. I'd never buy their junk again. Poorly and cheaply made.

Haha, yet another release. We had these on the Gamecube, then the Wii U, and now the Switch....

I loved the 3D in the 3DS games, it was one of the games redeeming features, obviously now lost on the Switch.

@sandman89 The screen shots always look manipulated to me to make them look better than they actually are in game. I thought I made that pretty clear in my original post.

I have noticed with Nintendo first party games, the graphics always look miles better than they actually are in game. To be honest, I do not know how they get away with it. One of the biggest cons in gaming at the moment.

He never made all those games. A team of very talented people did.

@Guest88 They maybe do not need it, but they have tried to conquer it in the past investing lots of money over there and failed. You cannot tell me they wouldn't want a slice of the market and all the money it would bring though.

They have managed to reduce the price because of all the money they are making selling a game that people have already paid full retail for on PC and now they want £30 for the version that should have been out at launch. There isn't even a cheap upgrade price for people who already bought the game and supported them originally.

Does not look very promissing. Horrible resolution, poor music, choppy/limited animation.

It is on early access on Steam and is meant to be pretty bad.

The thing is, a lot of these physical games rely on a download to make them complete anyway, so the whole idea of them makes them rather redundant anyway. It is not like back in the golden age of gaming were they released a finished game and that was it, complete, and you would never get anymore updates for it. A lot of the Limited Run Games stuff is just tat that you will just put in your drawer anyway and never look at it again.

The only argument for physical is re-sale, but the industry should allow you to sell a digital version anyway, that is one of the biggest cons in gaming now.

The thing is, the only way to play those games as they were intended is on the original hardware and on a CRT as the games were designed around how a CRT looked.

The problem with all tech like this, if you jump in early, you end up funding the inevitable better version which will come out further down the line.

They should ditch the stereo speakers to cut costs and weight on the face and pass it on to the consumer. I think most people would prefer to use their own wireless headphones anyway.

Every 3DS game that is a bargain is neither in stock for delivery or pickup.

Nice, is there a catch? I do have the original disc, but I remember when I tried it a few years ago you needed a specific CD/DVD drive to get it to work.

@NotoriousWhiz Games can give a lot more immersive experience if they run better and look better and actually improve the gameplay.

In, 2020, I would expect at least 30fps, 1080p. Next generation, I would expect 4k 60fps with completely redone textures, especially for the money they are charging.
I do not think that is too much to ask.

I have had it on Wii and 3DS and never finished it on either. I still think the hardware is not letting this game shine to its full potential. I think they should have waited until the next generation of hardware for this "definitive" edition.

Yep, it may be cheap, but if you don't resist the micro transactions, it is going to cost you a fortune. There is a reason why it is cheap initially.

Well I downloaded Elder Scrolls Blades just to see if it is any different from the Mobile phone version. Nintendo need to remove crap like this from the store, it is a disgrace. Within a couple of minutes the game is begging you to buy items from the store. I hope this game fails as it does not deserve to be on this great console.

@GUSWANG I have never played Fortnite or know anything about how it makes money. All I am saying is, if more games with this type of money system come to the E-shop, I personally think it will eventually harm the Nintendo quality brand they built up over the years.. Yes, you can play these games for free, but the whole game design/ mechanic is built around paying and taking short cuts. They temp weaker willed people to spend money by hiding it to some extent within the game play.

This is a BAD move by Nintendo allowing a "free to play" game like this on their service. If this is still the same game were it involves lots of micro transactions it is the start of a slippery slope for the service. I really do not want to see the e-shop turn into a trashy mobile phone app-like game store that suckers people into pay to win games, especially more worrying for their younger audience.

I was going to get it until I saw the price. I think I will wait for a sale.

I am sure this new guy will do a good job of the soundtrack, but yeah, why not just pay Yuzo Koshiro to do it all considering the stakes of such a high profile game.

Risky as the game might turn out to be crap.
