Re: Nintendo 64x64: Jet Force Gemini

Bought this game recently, never played it when it was released. I've only played it for a couple of hours but honestly I don't feel this game holds up very well today. Maybe it will get better later but at least in the beginning I'm not too impressed.

Incredible game, best FPS of all time!

The level of customization is mind blowing, I can't believe after all these years I haven't seen something in the same level. Rare was amazing back in the day.

Should I get this game if I already have Rondo of Blood? I remember playing the first level on emulator and liking it, I don't have problems with the controls.

And I don't remember Rondo being too difficult, except in the level where you fight 3 bosses or something. Is this one more difficult?

GX was fun but in the end I preferred X music and control. If only GX had the shoulder attack.... it had nice graphics though.

Re: Nintendo 64x64: ISS 64

I agree with everything that @TRON said, the ISSS series perfectly balanced sim and arcade, making them the best football games I've ever played. This was a great start, but ISSS98 and ISSS2000 were better games of course.

I loved this game, the story, cinematics and battle system. It had clunky control though, and the battle system would've been better with more special techniques or combos, I don't know. Still I loved it, one of my favorite N64 games.

Re: New Nintendo 3DS Models Announced

One question, do the metallic versions are still fingerprint magnets? I still have a normal 3DS metallic black and I hate how my fingerprints are all over it.

I really like the new blue metallic color but I don't want to be suffering with it...

@Gridatttack
I think it was too easy and that's what made it forgettable. You could beat the robot masters in your first try and even without the correct weapon. Also I noticed that enemies dropped tons of lives and energy.

For me I like this one a bit more than Mega Man 2, and I liked the music in this game. But I'm surprised it was not mentioned the terrible sound effect when recovering energy. Just awful, specially when you reach a boss.

This one is a lot more difficult than the first. I didn't find the first one too difficult except for that corridor where you fight Death.

I already have this on Wii, it'd be great to have it on 3DS for the save points, but I'm having some trouble playing Nes games on 3DS tiny buttons. I think I'll wait to get the WiiU, not only a better control but better price too. This is one of the games that having save points really helps.

Re: Poll: Which Is The Best Legend Of Zelda Game?

soma

Ocarina of Time N64. I haven't played the 3DS version. Don't understand people saying it has aged horribly? I still play it from time to time and have more fun with it that Skyward Sword or Twilight Princess.

In fact not too long ago I played The Legend of Zelda Nes for the first time and even had more fun than those games I mentioned, which were good but with a LOT of boring parts.

Bonsai Barber is a great game! I can't believe a lot of people haven't played it. It received a lot of hype from IGN because it was made by one of the creators of Goldeneye.

Anyway, the game is simple but extremely charming, and with a lot of content. Trying to get everything is challenging. Can be played with a friend. The animation and facial expressions are very funny.

I repeat, a very simple but enjoyable game, one that you can play for 15-20 minutes a day and move on. I recommend it.

Re: NPD Data Shows More U.S. Gamers Switching to Downloads

Well, first things first, Nintendo has to do a proper account system. I can understand on any other system, but with Nintendo is a huge risk. If my console is stolen or stops working then I lose all my games, so is understandable if most people want to download cheap or small games only.

About this game, I really loved it and actually played it just a few weeks ago. I have finished it countless of times. Once you get used to the controls it's a very enjoyable game imo.

I still remember the first time I finished the game I was a bit disappointed with the Dracula's battle. Then my brother finished it too, but he got a new cinema where Malus was Dracula! I was like OMG what did you do, how did you get that! O_O
Great times lol

Re: Club Nintendo Rewards Updated for February

Pictobits is great! I bought it time ago and is one of the best puzzles I've ever played, with great music and very challenging.
I'm tempted to buy Mario RPG but I don't know, I played it recently on emulator and I thought it hasn't aged that well. Chrono Trigger is better by far.

Terrible review, this is a fantastic game. Yeah it can be confusing, there are a few things that will be impossible to figure out for yourself, but for other things there are hidden tips you can find destroying walls and floors around the world that are very helpful.
Figuring things out is part of the fun, and you can figure out most of the game except for one or two things, just check gamefaqs and problem solved. And now with the possibility to save your states it should be a LOT easier.
