Re: Breaking Down the Nintendo Switch Online Service Details

Nintendos time honored tradition of not getting online continues.

On the plus, most people never hook up their consoles online, by adding a paywall they no longer have to provide services for those people lowering costs and enabling the Wii u services to stay up forever. Right??

Re: Soapbox: Why I Still Love the Wii U

We got one a year ago, the kids love just dance 2017 and super Mario maker. Splatoon! Affordable space adventures.

For me I love watch dogs and assassins creed black flag. I want to like xenoblade x but it's not making it easy.

I got bummed out about having to buy the virtual console stuff again to get the "Wii u versions" but that's how it goes.

Thank you Nintendo and please don't turn all backend services off just yet for the Wii u!

Re: Talking Point: NVIDIA is the Latest to Pitch Cloud Gaming - Could It Be Key to Nintendo's Future Hardware?

My Sony tv comes with a strong vibe of being prepared for PlayStation Now, like the ability to pair a controller 🎮. I can't say I see the draw here for me as a consumer. Getting a ps3 is not very hard or expensive, and after that it's all advantages.

A model were i could rent access to a game like i could rent a movie, that could be interesting. For around 1 usd / 24 hours. (Any partner teaching Nintendo about online has to be good news.)
