I cannot wait, I love this series and the genre. Touhou Spell Bubble is one of my top two most played games on Switch.

If I understand their website, it has local competitive multiplayer for two players which is great, plus local competitive multiplayer for two vs two. Very excited about this. The dream for me would be local four player free for all but I'll still instantly buy this without it.

I just wish it wasn't rats, gross. Guess it's better than snakes or spiders. ¯(ツ)/¯

Wow, I just bought this for Steam Deck, thinking it wouldn't be coming to Switch. Guess I need to double-dip. I love Team Ladybug.

I've always been fine with more Metroidvanias. We definitely don't have enough good ones IMO.

If the framerate is good I'll be there day one. Love the art style.

I was incredibly excited for the game but the early scene in the demo with the swearing and mom slapping totally turned me off and I never considered it again. I'm not an edgelord so it's not my thing.

I've played this game on Xbox Series X and loved it there. It's my GOTY. I double dipped on the Switch version and have not been disappointed. It's an outstanding port - looks great and the developers made sure it also runs great at a crucially solid 60 fps. The infrequent loading bits do take longer on Switch but, for me, it's a minor tradeoff considering how great everything else is.

Wow, was not expecting this...if they somehow managed to hit a solid 60fps framerate I'll definitely re-buy on Switch. It's easily my GOTY for 2022 so far. The PR blurb says they did so I'm off to the e-Shop!

Play One Step from Eden if you like this style of game. I love it.

Connection errors are through the roof, it's insane. Today, so many in the lobbies and, worst of all, multiple connection errors with less than 30 seconds to go in a match. Absolutely brutal, the state of the game.

Yes, because it ran at 60 fps. Framerate is absolutely crucial to the feel and playability of platformers and the core Mario games.

Is it really superb? I've been interested in this one but reviews of the switch port I've seen have pointed to framerate hitches and other problems such as input latency. Was there an update to resolve these that i missed?

I've played Bayonetta since day one of launch back on Xbox 360 and loved the sequel. As soon as I saw Viola I lost all interest in Bayonetta 3 and I won't be buying. I think Platinum Games has lost their magic.

I was the green team last time so I'll go with blue this one. Hope they have big changes in matchmaking balance in store.

If this runs at a smooth 60fps on Switch I'll definitely play it here. Gameplay looks amazing and it could be a perfect match for the OLED.

How do these old battle network games compare to modern takes like One Step from Eden? I absolutely love OSE but it's my pretty much my first game of the genre.

I don't play golfing games with motion controls, sorry. I love the 3 click style.

@Nintendo_Thumb So far I've only played a single round of 9 holes using three button click controller style. The actual golf feels great to me, though the trappings feel a bit rough compared to past games IMO.

I feel obligated to also point out that Clap Hanz' Easy Come Easy Golf (series known in the past as Hot Shots Golf and Everybody's Golf) was also released today on the eShop ($19.99/£17.59), but only appeared on the Japan Direct.

Mindblowing that Nintendo of America chose to skip these and show a bunch of delayed or 2023 games.

Maybe this is why Nintendo of America didn't include the new Clap Hanz Golf game in today's Direct even though it was in Japan's. It's available now on the US eShop for $19.99. I absolutely love this series and it's especially important now since the latest Mario Golf was so lackluster.

I'd buy if the store supported Apple Pay or PayPal, but I don't throw credit card numbers around to every random web store online any more.

@Dang69 No idea, but I sure hope so! I'm taking a risk by pre-ordering it with the expectation that they won't make the same mistake twice.

I just hope they support cloud save this time around. After hundreds of hours in Splatoon 2, I had no desire to re-do it all if I ever lost my Switch since all unlocks were stored locally. I wish more people would talk about this!
