Re: Pokémon Diamond And Pearl Remake Pre-Orders Include Shiny Zacian/Zamazenta Bonus In South Korea

@KiraMoonvalley Okay, I think that's going too far.

The story was NOT awful, and Hop is NOT "cancer in human form". I mean, come on. He's not perfect, but he's not that bad. Good lord...
Dialogue about Leon doesn't equal every single line of dialogue in the game. And he's referred to as a champion because that's a part of his history.

No. This is NOT a lazy game. You just don't like how it's presented. And that doesn't apply to most games these days either. NOT "lazy cashgrabs". If you don't want to buy video games anymore, you don't have to. Nobody is making or forcing you to buy video games. And they're only "cashgrabs" for people that do want to buy them and play them. And whether or not a game is good or bad is strictly a matter of personal opinion.

@readalie It's not just Leon "moping in a locker room". It shows him being taken out of the fight against Eternatus, and Victor and Hop work to drive it back as Leon regains consciousness. It's him contemplating what had happened, with his Charizard as support. Afterwards, he goes out into the stadium as the people of Galar watch on.
Remember that this is the first episode. There's always a chance the series will pick up a bit afterwards.

@NinjaGuy69 Well, that was a long comment.
The National Pokedex wasn't going to appear regardless, because there are simply too many Pokemon for it at this point. And if memory serves, the absence of the National Pokedex is what sparked this flame war in the first place, And the N64 tree and the mouse cursor were only small things. I didn't even notice the mouse cursor at first. When I played the game, they just amounted to pointless nitpicks at the most.
Besides, I didn't think the experience share thing made the game unenjoyable. If anything, it made the gameplay far less tedious for me. And I really like that the games are moving away from all the tedium and monotony of doing things one at a time.
I'm not "accepting" mediocrity, because in my opinion, Sword/Shield weren't mediocre. Not everybody thinks they're lazy , low-quality or low-effort cash-grabs. Every game in the series, whether you like certain ones or not, and in spite of their flaws, all take a lot of effort to create. If people want to play these games, let's just let them. It's their call on whether or not they enjoy the games, not ours.
We're not "throwing money" at anything. We purchase these games because we want to. And we love the Pokemon franchise. It's been a major part of my life since early childhood, so of course I'm always going to be loyal to it. I'm not "throwing money at things with the word Pokemon on it". That's a really unfair and immature way of putting it in my opinion. Nobody is being "disingenuous" because it's ultimately their opinion whether something is good or bad. Remember, Game Freak isn't the second coming of Jesus Christ or the meaning of life, it's a video game company. Holding them on such a high pedestal is sort of pushing it. We don't "need" to hold anything to whatever standards. This mentality is what feels disingenuous to me. If you want to play the games, purchase them. If you don't want to play them, don't. It's very simple.
As for me, I'm not interested in Pokemon Unite at the moment, but then again, my interests could change.

@NinjaGuy69 I have to disagree with a couple of your points. Pokemon Sword/Shield may have had their flaws, but they aren't what I'd call "low quality". And it's not about their consumers' "intelligence" either. It's because whatever flaws recent games may have, those flaws don't bother some consumers as much as they do others. It's not that they're willing to buy anything that has 'Pokemon' in the title. Many of these people are fans of the franchise, and want to see what new games have in store, regardless of whatever flaws they may have. As for me, the positives in Sword/Shield outweighed the negatives.
