Blastoise Arrives In Pokémon Unite This September

I've been waiting my whole life for Blastoise in Unite! But seriously I'm not too impressed with Unite. Pay to win, a little too basic in strategies. It's still ok just not great. I guess because they had to make it mobile compatible they kept it simple. But yeah with Tencent behind it I won't get mobile.

Still see Tencent, still not touching it.

Why didn't they just announce this in the Pokémon presents presentation? It would've made for a decent Pokémon reveal for Unite.

I haven’t played yet. Is it good? I’ve played LoL, and was wondering if it was just a dumbed down “baby’s first MOBA”

@CheekyZelda It is kinda, but its actually kinda fun bc of that.

I wonder why they waited so long for it. It was in some of the earlier trailers already and you could fight Wartortle in the tutorials at release. Oh well, at least the starter trio is back together at last.

@CheekyZelda Unite is a Pokemon P2W reviving of LOL's Dominion mode if you've known that time.

To all the people still claiming Unite is P2W, I had three games this morning (2 random 1 quick), I won two games and got MVP once. Haven't paid for a single upgrade. My win rate is hovering around 65%, so, I guess I must be really lucky, right? Either that or it's not P2W.

@mr-duster - Tencent is controlled by the governing body of the CCP (as all companies operate under). They have been known for questionable programming at the behest of China's ruling class, such as garnering information from the products people use from them. The most notable instance has been TikTok (though not Tencent related) scrapping your information and travel patterns and sending them off to China.

Regardless, I'm fairly certain that none of those incidents are tied with Pokemon Unite and people's enjoyment. It's worth giving it a try, at least. To see if you like it.

Still not a p2w, no clue where you people get that. Probably haven't tried it, saw the crappy review on here and just instantly go "hurr Durr p2w a huurrr". Oh well, still the fastest matchmaking I've seen in a game so the few sheeple not playing doesn't hurt me.

Also cool Blastoise, needed a tank I actually like.
