The XBLA version looked so good- it's a shame they didn't use those assets for whatever is being released on Friday.

The only thing that that really ties Odyssey together is cappie- otherwise its a pretty disparate adventure-

So I guess I am fine with more under the title Odyssey- Cappie doesn't necessarily need to be in an Odyssey 2, right?

Honestly, in the short term, I'd really just like Galaxy 2 on the Switch- that seems like a pretty big oversight at this point-

I don't think it is fair to mention Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered without stating that Saber Interactive promised to add online multiplayer functionality post launch and then they completely ghosted that promise.

Total scumbag move by them.

VA are paid on a sliding scale based on the type of content it is and where it airs-

A voice artist could get paid 8K for a national 1 minute ad if it is a full buyout.

A voice artist could also get paid $800 for a 15 minute internal only business recording.

Quite a differential there on the amount of work and pay-

Lots of factors to look into here- I'll wait to see if more info on this situation arises.

I don't disagree with you but it also shows a hunger for fans to connect with Nintendo in some way and I think Nintendo would be wise to harness the energy of that fanbase that wants to engage.

This direct is a huge blow to the confidence that we will put into sites like this and the rumor garbage that is put out there.

Complete garbage- Media outlets are reporting that switch is getting the remastered version but that doesn't seem to be a fact.

He may be awful but director Seth Gordon did him wrong- While the King of Kong is highly entertaining- It is also biased garbage. I wish the creators would have not lied with deceptive editing.

Sounds like all the same rumors from the past year that have just been kicked down the road. Not exactly brain science on these predictions.

No surprised- this was inevitable after the main producer was bullied out of the project.

I'd imagine they also had very bad offers from some of the true giants (prime/ netflix) - Its probably more advantageous to monetize a video on Youtube than it would be strike a deal with Netflix-

Hopefully they got a decent deal that helped with production costs- I'm currently working on a series that will be released on PBS but we haven't worked out a deal with a streaming service yet- that will come down the road because PBS has a 2 year exclusivity with the exception of self release or youtube, so we will probably sell it via our website and then put it on one of the "giants" later. Point being, being on a giant probably isn't that great of a thing for the creators of the content.

Cool- but it still has output that isn't even as good as the Gamecube- so It's not very useful- Even if they found a way to hardwire HDMI out, it still wouldn't be as good as the Gamecube because of the digital out port on the Gamecube. Granted this doesn't natively play Gamecube games, the only reason I compare them is that Gamecube is nearly a decade older and has better tech.

One Wii related mod that I would be very interested in would be putting a higher resolution display in the Wii U gamepad- I'm guessing that isn't possible because the video being wirelessly transmitted out of the Wii U is only about 480p- I do wonder if at the very least what it would look like with a better 480p display-

This site needs to be careful with the term "review bombing".

1. review bombing can go both ways but overly praising reviews never seems to get called out by the media.

2. If a show genuinely deserves to be called out by the fans, is that really review bombing? The term should be reserved for when the review bombing may not be justified or else it will just be another term the media defaults to when things simply don't support the corporate narrative.

I hope this gets a wide release like shredder's revenge so I can avoid LRG's terrible shipping costs.

The wii doesn't have direct digital out. Gamecubes games absolutely look better on GC hardware over wii. Playability is the same between consoles but video out quality is better on GC. My comment is 100% fact based and correct. Please educate yourself.

A Wii version would have been a downgrade because the Wii graphical video output quality is less than that of the GC.

I'd maybe pay the extra if a huge amount of N64 games, including ones from publishers other than nintendo, were available at launch, but there is no way i'm spending $40 more on the family plan for a handful of games.

Is there supposed to be something in that video that is remotely recognizable as Vertigo?

The Switch versions are clearly based on the PC versions and not on console versions.

The aiming system for Outcast on Gamecube was sooooo much better than it is on Switch, it is nearly unplayable on Switch.

Why even pose the question in the review of wether or not it is worth buying if you aren't going to give a legit answer?
