Re: Club Nintendo's Gold and Platinum Prizes Have Emerged

grumblegrumble

I guess I'll go with the cards, because who wants an outdated calendar in a couple of years? I already have those games. And I'm way too old for video game posters. SO, the cards automatically WIN. They will totally be collectible in a few years, but I'll keep them forever since I'm a huge Nintendo geekazoid anyways

Re: 3DS Virtual Console Gets Big Push in North America

grumblegrumble

Great! I can't wait for... uhm.. half of these Since I'm an Ambassador I already have half of those. But, Kid Icarus 2 is well worth the wait. I remember how much the game rocked back in the day (the gameboy KI sequel) it's really truly amazing, guys. A game not to be missed!

Re: 3DS XL Comparison Gallery

grumblegrumble

Hey, guys... Charger info: There is no charger included with the European version, but it WILL come with the North American version. I read in an article you have to buy the charger separately in the EU. Why this is, I have no clue! But also, you guys get better colors, imho. I hate the blue and red. Well, it just may grow on me...

Re: 3DS XL Footage and Hands-On Impressions Hit the Web

grumblegrumble

A couple of questions:

1. Is the 3DS XL just going to be available in blue and red on day one in the U.S.? I was hoping for a silver model which I have also seen touted around and maybe a magenta like the DSi XL color. The colors they chose seem too "kid like" for my taste, I would rather have a stylish and grown up color scheme.

2. Is the stylus a lot bigger, too, like on the DSi XL?

Re: Talking Point: 3DS XL - Why Now?

grumblegrumble

So, what colors are going to be available? Just red and blue? Those colors look slightly drab to me, I would much rather have the basic silver design that is showed above. Are they ever going to release that color in the U.S.?

Re: Bigger Nintendo 3DS Console Revealed

grumblegrumble

I had a sneaking suspicion this might come to fruition. If so, why did Nintendo deny it's existence? Also, as an original early adopter of the 3DS, I am not mad one bit I got mine first at a higher price, the ambassador games were worth it for me

Re: Talking Point: Another Look at the News - 22nd June

grumblegrumble

I have to admit, I'm a little peeved about the $199 price point for this system since I paid that plus another $70 or so for my original 3DS. Yes, I did get the ambassador games for free so I guess I can't complain. It's a great deal for those of you who don't have one yet so pick one up!

Re: Feature: Our Top Ten eShop Games

grumblegrumble

@chewytapeworm Well, excuuuuuuu-use me! Ok, so it's VVVVVVVVVV?! lol

Yeah, that VVV game is a great game, but it does get boring after awhile, so I wouldn't nominate it #1. For the guy who said "Pushmo" is like a cheap little puzzler and nothing else, take a look at the graphics and game play mechanics, then get back to me. I once again have to say that Potzol's Puzzle and Art of Balance: Touch takes the cake! The rest just don't compare on the same level, imho. I did choose Pyramids in my list because it was one of the first 3D e-shop games and I actually did quite enjoy it. It's not #1, it's not #10, but I did throw it in there. If you actually look at the games that you have to choose from (e-shop 3D games ONLY, there aren't that many to choose from... yet.) If Dsiware, most VC games and ambassador games don't count, that leaves us with like 20 titles. lol

Differences of opinion are what makes the world go round! So I love to see everyone's lists!

Re: Feature: Our Top Ten eShop Games

grumblegrumble

My list:

Keep in mind, this is very very difficult!

1. SpeedThru: Potzol's Puzzle
2. Art of Balance TOUCH!
3. Pushmo
4. Colors 3D!
5. 3D Classics: Kid Icarus
6. Bird Mania 3D
7. Sakura Samurai
8. Pyramids
9. VVVVV
10. Zen Pinball 3D

@James Oh, gotcha! So I took my dsiware off of here, which also included the brand new Cat Frenzy, because its so addictive and annoying at the same time and for $2 I've gotten more thrill out of it than anything lol

SpeedThru and Art of Balance are my top faves! Excellent games!! Don't ya think?

Re: Feature: Our Top Ten eShop Games

grumblegrumble

@WaveBoy lol! Yeah, Kid Icarus: 3D Classics is the best! I'm surprised. Of course, you can't please everyone. I'm sure about half of the comments on this one are not gonna be positive lol But it just goes to show we have some GREAT games available, doesn't it?

Re: Feature: Our Top Ten eShop Games

grumblegrumble

@Yasume I agree. Avenging Spirit was a great game!! Those of you voting for Wario Land, that was an Ambassador game and is not yet available in the shop for regular customers to buy (yet, or at ALL) and this is not the category of the specified top games mentioned in this piece. If we were going that route, I would want Minish Cap on the list!

Re: Feature: Our Top Ten eShop Games

grumblegrumble

Wait. You chose VVVVV as your number one e-shop game?! You've got to be kidding, right???! LOL. I mean, it's a good game and all, but Art of Balance: Touch, Sakura Samurai or Pushmo are WAY better, imho! Were you paid off to place that game first? lol. There are way better games! (I do agree with DK 94 as one of your best VC games, tho, and Punch Out. Personally, I think Zelda: Four Swords should have made the list!)

Re: E3 2012: Nintendo's 3DS Software Showcase Live

grumblegrumble

It's so sad to see so many people saying Nintendo is "disappointing." I mean, seriously... this company has given us free ambassador games to early 3DS adopters, some great 3DS titles such as SM3DL, Kid Icarus: Uprising and Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D and Mario Kart 9. Let's look on the bright side of the great e-shop 3DS offerings, too. Just because they have nothing on your list to announce doesn't mean its not in the works.

Re: E3 2012: Yes, We Will See New 3DS Games Today

grumblegrumble

I may be in the minority here, but Paper Mario (when I played it on the Wii recently) sucked! I don't know how anyone enjoys a game that is pretty much all planned out for you with sucky graphics. Zelda Twilight Princess was and still is the best Wii game out there, imho. I am a huge 3DS fan now and will probably never own a Nintendo dedicated console ever again. It's all about portability for me. Bring on the 3DS game announcements!

Re: Nyko Tries to Make Circle Pad Pro Pretty

grumblegrumble

Now, this looks MUCH better. Less obtrusive, more stylish (even through the screen is what kills it), but my question is... since the extra circle pad is only used for a small tiny handful of games, is it still worth it? If you are a fiend for those particular games, perhaps?

Re: NightSky

Can't wait for this! Just posted a topic about it in the 3DSWare forums, I am waiting with baited breath! This looks amazing
