@Zyph if that leads to more third party games they should eat the loss until they're able to drive the prices down. They have enough money in the bank to do that
@bimmy-lee hahaha no worries, I'm vaguely familiar with him but not enough to know the whole story as I've never been a fan of wrestling. I do follow the NBA though and loved to go to Celtics games back in college. Good times!
@bimmy-lee I thought I'd take all the heat myself so others can go on and talk about the actual game instead of derailing the conversation to whatever you-know-who fancied talking about on that day. I'd say I was relatively successful
I'd like to see some games from the "walking simulators" genre. They announced Kentucky Route Zero a while back so hopefully there will be an update about that, but there's tons of others that could make it: What Remains of Edith Finch, Dear Esther, Blackwood Crossing, as well as visual novels. I'd give anything for The House in Fata Morgana
@ThanosReXXX been to Amsterdam 3 times, one of them involving a brief relationship with an American girl and a very long story about how it ended. Love the vibe of the city, beautiful city centre but equally well kept neighborhoods and some lovely bars. I was actually accepted to do a PhD in Kampen but chose not to at the time, even though they offered good money. As for the Irish, totally agree, I was in Dublin for 10 days last year and had a marvellous time.
@Mart1ndo I've never attacked you. We're discussing, this is not a fight.
@Mart1ndo that's right my man, preach. It sounds as if you've sorted everything out, so I'll let you go now. Can't be battling with such a titanic intellect so I give up
@Mart1ndo I'm not gonna entertain your delusional conspiracy theories, it's pretty clear who's drunk and who isn't. And forgive me for not talking like a chav as you do, that's what we called it in the US and that's how I like calling it. Now go troll somewhere else
@Mart1ndo It's got as much to do with anything as the opinion that Nintendo announced a nindies direct 4 days after Kirby came out in order to "deflect" from its allegedly poor reviews (i.e. the one you provided). I didn't crawl through your comments either, you were discussing GT with me where you were trying to convince me it's not a pile of trash. Now you say you've only played it 10 hrs. Good to see the narrative being tailored each time
@Agramonte I certainly don't. And yeah most third parties announce things at E3, you should try watching it. Nintendo has laid out the roadmap for their own games up until July. It's fine if you don't like what's coming, just stop pretending like everyone shares the same feeling.
@jimmyspades @WiltonRoots at least he helps us with the bingo, thats about the only positive i can think of. @ThanosRexxx I live in the UK but I'm not British, although people think I am due to me calling him out and thinking I must be doing it because he's Irish. One even called me a racist Brit, hahaha. Oh how I wish we could actually see who's liking comments here,it'd be glorious
@ThanosReXXX I'm actually at the liquor store right now buying copious amounts for the bingo, although I already called it in for today! But yeah seriously 99% of the comment section end up being derailed, more and more people are realising what he's doing and yet nothing ever happens. Instead of talking about the direct and speculate as to what we'll see we're arguing about the same tired stuff, Indies, ports, droughts, blah blah blah
@Agramonte so what you're saying is we're getting 2 out of three SE games announced for 2018 and 1 out of 2 from Activision. That's good enough for me for now, as others pointed out most big games come out in the second half of the year and are announced at E3. And I won't be fussed for not getting COD either
@BigKing switch has no game. Ok now we're into troll territory, not just linguistic semantics and using insults from the 80's. I speak three languages, but that doesn't make a difference to my original point. Now stop trolling and find something more productive to do with your time
@BigKing Ni no Kuni is not out either. I'm not cherry picking at all, just pointing out that when most people talk about their backlogs they mean games they possess/are already out, not games from the future. You can't put something that you don't have in the backlog
@AlphaElite if he wasn't a sad little troll he would know that. But he's not here to discuss, just derail the thread with the same comments he made 21500 times before.
@Agramonte I guess we're at the point where talking b@@@ocks is inevitable. Tell us, oh wise, what other games besides Shadow and DQ builders 2 has Square announced for this year? I'm talking concrete dates, not vaporware like FF 7. What has Activision announced for this year except for COD and the Crash port?
@Tsusasi thank you for your passionate comment. My comment was meant to be a parody of similarly worded comments I read on this website every day. Indie developers are to be celebrated and commended, and I do indeed know what Koei Tecmo is. Sorry for the bait!
@paulmcgrath13 oh I haven't checked them out recently, that's great news and I'm glad to see they finally changed their stance. Thank you for letting me now
@kobashi100 depends on your perspective I guess. As a Vita owner I think the majority of the games they published were mediocre to bad with some notable exceptions and I find their business model disgusting since as you can see every time they announce a new pre-order the scalpers over on Ebay and elsewhere rejoice and pop champagnes. Of course you can say that the clue is in the name and that these games are supposed to be limited run due to the small nature of the company etc etc. So how about this-btw not my idea others have proposed it and I think it makes perfect sense: allow ANYONE who wants to put in a pre-order within a set amount of time. No limits, anyone can pre-order, no 5 or 7 thousand copies bu@@@it. Then withdraw the money immediately, which you will already make clear in the checkout process. Then put in the order for the amount of copies needed. That way if somebody was just trying to scalp you won't lose your money since you've already taken it and everyone else gets a copy.
I hope that when the revised version comes out (definitely not in 2018) it will enable the console to boost previously released games by default, unlike the n3DS
@bimmy-lee another one that should be considered for the future is a space with "passive aggressive response without actually tagging the person you're responding to"
@bimmy-lee @WiltonRoots the funniest thing is that he "allegedly" blocked me in the past, yet he can still read my posts. So since that's the case, @SLIGEACH_EIRE, let me say this. You are not someone who's worthy to respond to in a mature and intelligent manner because you're neither mature nor intelligent. Don't try to present yourself as some sort of victim of those who supposedly cannot handle your edgy opinions and are only throwing insults at you. Plenty of other users to interact with here, whose criticisms are based on a willingness to discuss rather than derail and troll. Have a good day now, and please use the ignore function, if reading my posts hurts your feelings then best to avoid them
@WiltonRoots I was on shift last night so couldn't go to the pub as you did, but headed to Cardiff now to drink and laugh at our resident comment automatons (someone called them that, I think it's a very apt description)
@bimmy-lee I remember that comment section, I stayed the hell away and boy am I glad I did. Get your beverage ready, this party is about to be lit soon!
Edit: however, there's a Trump related article today that seems to have gotten people's attention.
@bimmy-lee it's pretty tame so far, but I can already sense it, this one will need a lot of popcorn and soda. @WiltonRoots it has begun! @Robotron2084 resident automatons, that's a good one, hahahaha.
@Late I wouldn't expect a response from the troll. In fact so many people believe the crap he spouts just because they can't do a basic Google search to find out that HAL had NOTHING to do with SSB on either the Wii U or the 3DS. Like you said it's co-developed by Sora and Bandai Namco, and it seems that development for this is being done in-house, at least from what we know so far.
@sword_9mm he's never even owned any non-Nintendo consoles, I doubt he'd get a PC. It would mean he would have to stop trolling and he gets too much enjoyment out of that
@WiltonRoots I'm guessing we are waiting for the cumulative article before we play? Although the snippet articles have already covered more than half. I guess the next one should include a whole line with port-related stuff
@Twonips no man don't you know, it's all about what he has played and not letting others enjoy games. As if anyone is holding a gun over his head to make him buy these games again.
