@WiltonRoots oh man what have you done? I saw the post just as I was getting ready to sleep and started to laugh hysterically. Needless to say, my wife who was already asleep woke up because she thought I had tremors and when she realised I was laughing called me a douchebag and went right back to sleep. I think a second bingo card might wreck my marriage, but I'm looking forward to it anyway. Already printed the first and ready to play!
@WiltonRoots should we make a bingo for the post-direct article? Here's some ideas:
No third parties/ports ports ports/expensive rehashes/Indies/Indies are not third party/where's EA/Activision/Warner Brothers/Ubisoft/Labo is for casuals/no store stocks Amiibo/Switch is losing momentum there's hundreds of unsold consoles in my local in Florida-Eire-Yorkshire
I'm sure I forgot a lot, maybe @JimmySpades can chip in as well
@WiltonRoots and when they do he will complain that a) they're old ports, despite never owning a non-Nintendo console and thus never playing them, b) despite the fact that a lot of these "old" ports also come out (or have come out) for the PS4 and the XBONE, where I don't see anyone complaining about it, c) he will complain about the price comparing them to the prices of editions that have already been out for years and have had opportunities for sales etc. and despite the fact that so far most third parties have been good with including previous DLC. We all remember how this and similar third party efforts went for the Wii U.
@Nincompoop that's right, down with those horrible Indies. Who wants to play games unless they're AAA anyways? And this awful Switch, it's the only console that gets them, the others only get an influx of AAA week after week after week while we're left to deal with all the trash
@IronMan28 oh yeah absolutely, from sours to barleywines and everything in between I try as many as I can. From American breweries my favourite would be Modern Times and Stone from California, hill farmstead, evil twin, and Reubens. I'm sure I'm forgetting some, thank God for untappd for letting me document what I've had
@IronMan28 beer, particularly IPA's, pale ales and stouts, but really any kind of beer. If you're asking for which specific ones, my favorites at the moment are Tasty Juice (an IPA from Lervig, a brewery in Norway) and Gamma Ray from Beavertown who are based in London.
@BetterThanVegas very good point. I bought every single retail third party released on the Wii U, from Funky Barn to the COD's and all the way down to Darksiders I. Some were good offerings, others not so much. I think the difference with the Switch is that up until now and except for FIFA's Journey mode all other third parties included previously released DLC, multiplayer when it exists, etc. I still remember how botched some third party offerings were on the Wii U, especially after the initial honeymoon.
@tobibra we've had this discussion with @ThanosReXXX before. I'm not one to ignore opposing viewpoints (which I use here as a synonym to content, as I have no issues with content), but at the same time it's not my job to remove trolls or trollish posts from the site, especially when it's been going on for years. But as we've theorized, their reactions causes others to comment which brings more clicks. We all know what all websites are after, so here we are.
@WiltonRoots I think we need to organize that game during this year's E3 where I'm guessing about half on Nintendo's presentation will be on new software for Labo. I'm particularly into craft beer so I'll go with that, think about your beverage of choice
@WiltonRoots they should rename this series "troll magnet" instead of soap box. Appalling English, tired ad nauseam repeated arguments (the Switch has no triple A gamez wah wah), lies (consoles without AAA games don't sell millions), etc etc. I think comment sections like these lower my IQ quite significantly, and with such heavy snow I can't even go out to drink to forget everything I've just read. And to think that some of the usual suspects haven't even shown yet...
@Trajan not that it matters, but I love the Irish and their culture. My reference was to a few on this very website, not a blanket statement for every Irish person in the world. Apologies if that wasn't exactly clear
It was probably invaded by Irish trolls, just like other websites that used to be places where you could discuss your favourite hobby without someone derailing the conversation to whatever they fancied moaning about that day
@YummyHappyPills despite what ignorant people like Koizumi say, the commenters on this very website know the real truth. It was always meant to be for the Wii U...
The Irish troll obviously forgot to mention that Bayonetta 2 was completely gone from the top 40 on its second week on the Wii U. Yet the concept of digital ownership still escapes him.
@JimmySpades and let's not forget he's "questioning" the score the reviewer (who played the game and gave it a subjective score) gave without having any idea of the game, since he's admitted he never owned any non-Nintendo consoles ever. Yet here he is, commenting on each and every game, passing out his wisdom.
@PlywoodStick so let me get this straight by using an analogy. Did you ever question why in certain years some films sweep the Oscars and win in 8 or more categories? There's no conspiracy, that was what the critics thought. Why is it so hard for you to understand that for many people BOTW is a one in a lifetime kind of game that will be talked about for decades to come? People loved it, the critics loved it, it's pretty much universally praised and one of the highest rated games of all time. It's fine if you didn't like it, but when a game receives 186 GOTY awards (with the second one being at a distant 50) it's hard to advocate for conspiracy theories. And since Sony and Microsoft are also members, why wouldn't they treat their games favourably too? Is it because Nintendo paid more?
As for the diversity argument, that's just boll@@s. Nothing should get an award just for the sake of "diversity."
@PlywoodStick mountain of salt indeed. Tell us more about conflicts of interest in an organization where everyone is a member, and keep fighting the good fight comrade, let's take down the capitalist oligarchy by commenting on websites. That will show them
@Mart1ndo You'd lose. Still play GT 6, with its proper career mode and no need to be online to save. Servers will go offline soon, so that'll be it from me until they make more than half shell of a game again.
@Mart1ndo Yeah you shouldn't assume people's ethnicity anyway. My argument which others made before is that you don't get to define what is and what's not a racing game. You might be disappointed but for most of us MK8 is the best Mario kart ever, and these people thought the same. And I didn't compare it to GT sport, I just indicated that this version of GT shouldn't even be nominated in a world where Forza Horizon exists. You do know you can't even save offline and up until the end of December it lacked a single player mode, right?
@Shellcore not rude, just pointing out that corporate membership doesn't indicate anything. The full list of nominees is on their website, or you can check the article on PushSquare too.
@Shellcore these were based on the votes of more than 30000 people, including developers and people involved in the industry in many different roles. Don't start conspiracy theories just because GT didn't get an award they definitely didn't deserve.
great, another Wii U port. Where are the third party games? Why are publishers holding back their games? Is EA just the first among many who will eventually not release anything? What about the forthcoming drought? Nintendo plz
@Menchi187 I'd bet serious money you don't even know what they worked on. Does their statement that every publisher wants their game on the Switch hurt your feelings? I thought EA was just one of the many and many others would follow suit. After all, you said as much and we know how spot on your predictions always are
@therealgamer what's your problem exactly? Do you really think developers release game based on your preferences or the fact that you might have played them elsewhere? Get a grip
@G_M Sorry I just realised you're one of those who comment on a Nintendo-centric website and unironically use words like NDF. Do me a favor, go talk to like-minded trolls like the Irish wacko and leave the rest of the comment section to adults. Cheers.
And a new addition to the wall of shame: "You obviously enjoy playing on a machine which has little to no significant games. Enjoy yet another generation of game droughts, with your twisted sense of pride!" Bahahahahahahahaha

Re: Video: Every Single Switch Game Released in Year One
@Nincompoop I have the new 3DS and as per this https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Support/New-Nintendo-3DS-family-systems/FAQ/About-the-microSD-card/Which-microSD-card-should-I-use-/Which-microSD-card-should-I-use--948816.html
it still says 32GB maximum. To be fair I never tried a larger one so I might be wrong
Same for Nintendo of America: http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/274/~/what-sd-cards-and-microsd-cards-are-compatible%3F
Re: Video: Every Single Switch Game Released in Year One
@Nincompoop how do you have such a big card in it? Mine is 32GB and that's supposedly the highest you can put. Unless we're talking hacked or modded
Re: Video: Every Single Switch Game Released in Year One
@Nincompoop you have more than 300 3DS games?
