I have the 2023 game on Switch. No complaints, I really enjoy it.

Super Mario World and Mario Galaxy should both be in the top 10! The thing that makes this list invalid is that Pac-Man and/or Ms. Pac-Man are not included.

8 is definitely the favorite in our family. The latest game Superstars is quickly becoming our new favorite.

I still have the stand that came with this game. Works well with my Switch.

@Specter_of-the_OLED Thanks for the reply. I was not talking about the HD upscaler, just the Wii component cable. That is what I use and have never had a problem, albiet I do not have F Zero.

@Dirty0814 Wii's are cheap and there are 5 times as many in the wild.

I have been confused by this for years. Why do people insist on using the Gamecube and buying these super expensive cables, when the Wii plays Gamecube games at 480p on cables that cost $10?

If it had motions controls like Tiger Woods on the Wii, I would definitely get it. But, without them, I will probably pass or wait for a price cut.

@JohnnyC Kibry Robobot is the best Kirby game of the last few years. Many people also really enjoyed Epic Yarn on the Wii, while the main game is really easy. Fully completing a level is really rewarding. Co-op play is really good on Epic Yarn and the other Kirby game on Wii. If you have kids these games are a must. The Wii U Kirby game is really good. It's creative and fun, but not everyone likes it. It is a sequel to a popular DS Kirby game (Canvas Curse which also available on the Wii U eShop), that requires using the stylus for player 1 almost the whole game. So you always are looking at the gamepad and never enjoying the beautiful game on the screen (but players 2-4 can). I would start with Robobot or Triple Deluxe on the 3DS, and if you want a console game (especially for co-op mode) get the Wii games Epic Yarn or Return to Dream Land (also available on the Wii U eShop).

I find it interesting that over the last five years the UK has produced the two best Nintendo websites in the world and at the same time has the lowest Nintendo support of all the major world markets.

I love Nintendo, but I have never been more angry with them than over this botched roll out of Amiibos and Gamecube adapters. They are basically are saying screw you to all their loyal fans by their silence and vagueness on the availability issue. Thanks, Nintendo, for ruining part of the holiday season for hundreds of thousands of fans who wanted to enjoy the full Smash experience that you have been hyping us up for over the past year.

@Statusphere my kids want this so badly. I am pulling for you. If you haven't already you should check out Eden on iOS for a reference. My kids enjoy that building game, but they want something on Wii U.

The Wii has the two most innovative hardware options of the past 6 years: motion control and the balance board.
The Wii brought millions of Atari and NES kids back to gaming as adults (I am one of them).
The Wii is a Gamecube that plays it's entire library.
The Wii has hundreds of classic NES, Sega, SNES, Neo Geo, C64, N64 games most of which are not available to download on other consoles.
If you could only own one console and want to have the ability to play the most great games, the Wii is clearly the best choice. That is why to this point in time, the Wii is the greatest console ever.
