@Agent721 Enjoyed reading your comment @Agent721. I have just turned 30 myself, with a good job in London, my own house etc, with a partner and 4 year old daughter, and I absolutely love Nintendo and everything they stand for. I too have most of the Amiibos so far, proudly on display, and my daughter loves them too. But my partner often digs at me for playing computer games and seems to think there only for kids. It really annoys me that she doesn't understand. Nice to see so many other 30+ year old proud Nintendo fans too
I was in my local game store at the weekend. A guy came in, obviously looking specifically for Devil's Third as he went straight to the Wii U section and picked up the 1 box they had on the shelf, and took it to the counter to ask for the price as it was not labelled. The staff member then took the game and said, 'I'm not sure if this is out yet', but did go and check out the back to find out. When they came back they said, 'It came out Friday, and is £50'. The guy ended up not buying it. I mean, really Game, £50! They don't even charge £50 for Nintendo's first party games.
@FernandoMachado I agree, I hate the whole idea of card amiibo. One of the main attractions to consumers is the nice figurines to have of all these great characters
I too, hope that they don't use the cards as more of a reason to not produce more of the rarer Amiibo figures. It is clear that figures are what the people want, and surely they have already seen the demand for the Out of Stock figures, as they sold out almost instantly, and the pre-orders sell out straight away too such as for Ness
Might give it a try as its free, but generally do not like this pricing model. And even if I did like the game and want to play it more after running out of lives, I would never spend money on it
Neat, about time too though. They should implement this with VC too, which will make everyone happy. Not sure if I will pick this up yet with so much stuff coming out and amiibo
Great trailer. They should put these kind of adverts on primetime TV, and actually promote the great games that are coming, with those that are already available.
I received a Nintendo newsletter on Friday 7th March, part of which said, 'The stars catalogue is available once more - Check out it's new look now! Clicked on the link and everything was the same. Maybe that email was sent early by mistake

Re: Amazon UK Delays Some Shulk Pre-Orders to Later in the Year
@FernandoMachado I agree, I hate the whole idea of card amiibo. One of the main attractions to consumers is the nice figurines to have of all these great characters
Re: Card Format amiibo Confirmed to be Heading our Way This Year
@Sir_JBizzle - I'm based in the UK myself, where it has gone up on a few sites, and is not available anymore

Re: Nintendo to Introduce Free Software With NES and SNES Experiences Activated Through amiibo
Another nice use for Amiibo, although at least some full unlocks for NES and SNES games would be nice
Re: Vblank Entertainment Confirms Full Retro City Rampage DX Update Details and Plans to Bring Another Game to 3DS
I will certainly be getting this game at some point down the line
Re: Poll: As amiibo Expands and Evolves, Which Features Are You Most Excited About?
@invictus4000 I think it is a neat little idea. At the end of the day it is another little extra for a number of amiibo character's
Re: Gallery: Feast Your Eyes on the Super Mario and Super Smash Bros. Wave 4 amiibo
Hopefully Nintendo will produce more of wave 4, knowing how the previous waves have gone with certain figures being hard to get
Re: Pokémon Shuffle is a Match-Three Game With Slightly Worrying Micro-Transactions
Might give it a try as its free, but generally do not like this pricing model. And even if I did like the game and want to play it more after running out of lives, I would never spend money on it

This is looking like a must buy. Looks really fun
Re: Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars Due in March and Will be Cross-Buy on Wii U and 3DS
Neat, about time too though. They should implement this with VC too, which will make everyone happy. Not sure if I will pick this up yet with so much stuff coming out and amiibo
Re: Feature: Five Key Reveals We Want in 2015's First Nintendo Direct
Out of the five, I plumped for Amiibo details, but would also like a new loyalty promotion
Re: Nintendo Direct Confirmed for 14th January, With Focus on Spring Releases
Don't really know what I want lol. So many things. A surprise would be nice

Will probably pick up Pac Man (Wii U) and Mega Man (Wii U), possibly Mega Man 3
Re: Nintendo Unleashes An Awesome Trailer Showing Off Upcoming Wii U Exclusives
Great trailer. They should put these kind of adverts on primetime TV, and actually promote the great games that are coming, with those that are already available.
Re: Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Shows Off The Peculiarities of Tomodachi Life and Confirms Release Date
