We're big fans of Nintendo's Japanese YouTube channel, for the simple reason that it often publishes relatively long videos of upcoming releases and - more importantly - awesome TV commercials. The latest batch includes a man with glasses transforming into Bowser, still wearing glasses; is that possibly the best thing ever?
Silliness aside, these videos give us some fun and enjoyable footage of amiibo, Mario Party 10 and Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars. The longer video for Mario Party 10 is useful to see more minigames in action, and likewise Tipping Stars footage - focused on the game running on a New Nintendo 3DS - shows us a little more.
As always these videos are pretty entertaining, so check them out and let us know what you think.

Looking forward to Tipping Stars. Not looking forward to the inevitable tip-begging on Miiverse.
The boy in the news pic looks like a young Miyamoto, lol.
The dad turning into Bowser ad is the best. That would certainly work in other territories too I think
I spy a Mini Mario cosmic clone in the Tipping Stars trailer... oh boy.
Looks like that game's not eShop only, it might be a retail game.
The Bowser commercial was the best thing ever, seeing Bowser's expression when the Gamepad's taken away made me laugh. "Aww, no more Bowser time..." XD
That was an interesting commercial from Mario Party 10.Though i can't say i am interested in more Mario Party titles as i've burnt out by those a long time ago, and as for the new Mario vs. Donkey Kong, i firmly believe the first Mario vs. Donkey Kong was the only good one and this looks like more of the lemmings type gameplay that i really don't like.
@NintyMan I was thinking the same exact thing.
@BooJoh Oh dear, you're spot on aren't you?
Hopefully admins are swift with temporary bans when this occurs.
God do I love the Japanese.
Tipping Stars looks better every time I see it - cross-buy, online play, tipping and Miiverse integration, and of course the level editor - it's like they took all that's good about Little Big Planet and even expanded upon it, it's just too bad the gameplay itself isn't my cup of tea.
Can't believe it actually releases next week, kind of snuck up on me. only 1 week before MP10. That's 2 Mario games in 2 weeks. Good thing Nitnedo isn't milking Mario like COD
Some aspects of MP10 look pretty good, but if we want to play board games we play actual board games to give the tv a break. Too bad they didn't make the Bowser sections into a stand alone game like Evolve or even Tank! Tank! Tank!. Guess I'll wait or the review to see if we can just get into it like the Wii Play games and skip the board games parts.
@BooJoh Tipping Stars bores me, but we all have unique tastes.
New Rosalina and Wario Amiibo confirmed!... probably!
@GamecubeComplex I've only played 3 Mario vs DK games (not counting DK94 or the older DK games.) The first one on GBA, Minis March Again on DSiWare, and Minis on the Move. And while I can appreciate the love people have for the classic DK formula evolved in the first Mario vs DK (and it seems like they should have split the series to keep both formulas alive,) I really enjoyed the Nintendo-fied Lemmings that was Minis March Again.
Plus I'm game for most things with level editors.
The origins of Hipster Bowser
With everything that is going on in March plus spring time releases, I keep thinking a direct has to be coming soon.
@rjejr "That's 2 Mario games in 2 weeks. Good thing Nitnedo isn't milking Mario like COD" Come on, you know how different these games are.
@Jetset I wish more people would embrace the newer MP gameplay aswell, seems like the car mechanic and everyone moving together is everyone's biggest gripe nowadays. I don't mind MP9 and I'm actually looking forward to MP10, they're bringing back DK and Toadette.
The series has to evolve somehow and they have brought the car mechanic in to appeal to more people, Mario Parties 6-8 were unbelievably long games. MP9, you finish a game in 30-45 mins, if you feel it's too short then play another map, that way you have 2 winners, or the same winner twice lol.
Amiibo Party and Bowser Party look good and they are nice additions if you want to mix it up.
I bet it's another game on online .
Sweet! I love the bowser video. Just got my Bowser amiibo, I'm ready to go!
It looks as though you can use up to 4 Amiibo to make a custom Amiibo board. Each one has 4 sections and they would line up. Has that been announced yet?
Do you have too many friends?
Play Mario Party with some of them and your problems will be solved!
Are we seriously continuing the everyone-moves-together-in-a-stupid-vehicle thing from Mario Party 9? 'Cause I am not interested.
And what IS it with Nintendo and microphone-blowing?
