@rvcolem1 yeah but since the 2d rayman games are way cheaper to make, and take significantly less time to do so as well: it should still be considered successful (at least successful enough to warrant one or two more entries since Legends).

Rabbids go home is my favorite wii game hands down. Sonic unleashed and nsmbwii would be a close second followed by wii sports resort!

@NinChocolate you should check out the OVA, i think it was released in the 90s or something. That's the closest thing we got to a Sonic movie until recently

@PBandSmelly I feel like Ring Fit would not make the cut as it isn't that old, and wasn't a big hit or created new fanbase like we've seen with Splatoon. We may get a spirit or more likely, a mii costume. Ring Fit Trainer will most likely be an echo in future games

@Heavyarms55 that'd be cool, but wouldn't be kinda awkward if the creators of the fan game deny the job offer? Or what they could have is like an official game jam where they create a fan game for gamescom or e3 and they can't share it online.

@Ralizah If they did allow cloud saves on games like Splatoon 2 you could easily cheese the system if you had multiple consoles. If you get demoted from Rank X to S, and you happen to have a cloud save prior to the demotion you could restore that rank without playing on the other console. Allowing cloud saves could also complicate the back-end of some games.

I don't know why people are fussing and demanding such a feature like that, no doubt will do a number on the employees welfare, they'd never get the game out in time - and I'm sure they said sword and shield was not their priority. 800+ models? + rigging, textures, balancing, bug fixes? I can't even make a passable 3d model in blender! Anyways I do agree with what the thread says - gamers & fans tend to underestimate the process behind making games.

Maybe Nintendo is releasing a spy-themed splatfest, story mode, or an entire new game and Nintendo is just teasing it

@ThanosReXXX It'd be interesting if they did a splatoon and de blob crossover, it may not have to be a separate game, it could be DLC like the octo expansion - but if they make a new splatoon game it couldn't be like the first or second game, since that'd be very difficult to manage. So maybe it'd could be a local co-op shooter (like splatoon), a 3d platformer (like de blob) or possibly a mix of both! Anyway it'd be great to see 2 great franchises mix like that.
