No, the Pro works of of wifi. So that means if they wanted to have future releases to work with the pro they would have to give the future releases c stick and wifi pro capabilities. That's really a lot of work and I dont blame them for making a New 3ds and not carrying over the Pro. Overall, its a smart move, and at worst its expected and acceptable one.

I get what you are saying, but its not like they are ripping you off, the coins are a bonus, not a mandatory feature. However, I do see why you might be frustrated because of the changes.

Naw, they are ok, but you dont want them giving away really good games. If they put a $10 buck game on there that is $10 bucks they could have make on an actual purchase. In the end, we want Nintendo making money. Them bringing in the cash means they will continue to produce good products. Though the rewards are never mind blowing, they are still a nice reward to us fans.

Nintendo is the odd ball of gaming, and I hope they continue to be different. They have broke the mold of traditional gaming, and now they are starting to break their own traditions of being predictable (well predictable within context). Amazing idea!

Can anyone explain the lengthy localization of the New 3DS to the west? I understand the games having longer ones, but Nintendo already knows the N3DS is going to be sold in Western Countries. Shouldnt it all be completed around the same time, or is it more complex?

@rdp223 Yes! I am on the campaign as well. I have 4 right now to snatch smash as well as another who is going to buy a 3ds. A western release this year would be beyond smart.

You have to get it! I believe this will be the most extensively developed game the 3ds will ever see. I love love Zelda, but if I couldnt afford a zelda game and smash, i would get this hands down! I am rooting for you to get it lol

Smart move. I bought Triple awhile back and resold it. I needed the money but wanted the online and multiplayer so this was perfect. They got 34from me for the game new and 6.99 from me as well and I am happy.

If you have a 3ds and not Smash, you are wrong. If you buy your kid a 3ds and not Smash, you are still doing it wrong!

question for everyone. If this 3ds is slightly more powerful, do you think it could help with frame rate issues like on pokemon x and y?

Man, the amount of work they have put into this game and to keep us updated. It's going to be a perfected timeless masterpiece. I truly hope they make bank off this game. I've talked every 3ds owner I know to get it.

the leak isn't really a big deal, to us common gamers anyways, most people Google how to unlock characters anyways.what I'm worried about is if these are the only unlockable characters.I'm a little behind on the leaks and smash news, do you guys personally think there will be quite a few more unlockable players?

There are a ton of strong minded individuals here. I think "sexist" is a term thrown around in ignorance and fear. I think those who in favor of the Zelda franchise should keep to things in mind as important. 1. Keeping the story alive. 2. Keeping the attention of enough fans to make money to keep the story alive. This could be a way to cultivate a larger fan base, and I would be in favor of it.

Morally, there is nothing wrong with making the Hero a woman. It is never clearly defined that the reincarnated Hero has to be a male. There kinda is with Zelda though as she was a goddess, an entity associated with a feminine persona, but even then you can prove Zelda has to be female as its a fictional world of mythology.

I get it, people are tired of other people whining about equal rights, and its tiresome and stressful, but it really boils down to your personal preference of wanting a male or female character. There is no right or wrong, so stop fighting like there is.

Im a lot like you (judging from a quick view of your profile) but I am pretty sure I am going to do a wii u an projector here pretty soon. Takes up a little space, but probably worth it. They are worth 10 times the space they take up in fun lol

I am a cheap gamer and always a generation behind, but nintendo has impressed me so much this year I am getting their next handheld and home console on launch dates

2d handheld metroid would be fine, but I need multiplayer, preferably online some how. I would love Nintendo forever if they could pull this off. Maybe with a smash feel to it in that there could by dynamic combat with good dodges, melee, ect...

The concept is fine, but I think they really need to focus on marketing, because at it's core it is not that appealing. Either that or it needs to have an amazing multiplier. Of course I am no from Japan and dont appreciate robots as much as they do
