Seen a lot of comments asking if it has Nintendo characters - I'm afraid it does not, weirdly enough. However, there's always the ability to download items that other people have made from the store.

300+ hours clocked on Switch, all the problems are 100% accurate, even after they claim they've "improved performance". Epic need to hire a team to work on QA across console platforms, particularly Switch. They have the money.

If a new Scribblenauts game came to the Switch, I would genuinely cry. Was very disappointed when 5th Cell saw huge layoffs after Scribblenauts Fighting Words got canned. Hopefully this is it's comeback?

If this does turn out to be true, Nintendo is gonna have to play the refund game.

The temperature of the system hadn't even occurred to me as a potential problem, as most of the attention has been directed to whether this thing will have a Virtual Console at launch, whether games will be linked to Nintendo Accounts (they will), and how internal memory will hold up. I am glad to know that the Switch won't be overheating.

The Compact Play Stand is a must-buy for me. I can imagine myself wanting the play away from the TV, but also wanting to charge the console while using the Pro Controller. Thankfully, this stand makes it possible.

For me, this is really sad news to hear. I've played every Skylanders game, and I will certainly be picking up Imaginators sometime soon. Although many love to hate on the toys-to-life genre for being a 'cash grab' and simply being 'physical DLC', I've never viewed it that way. For me, if I was to just buy the Starter Pack, I'd get to experience a full, fun, action platformer. If I decided to splash out on extra figures, I'd get to revisit the game and explore areas I couldn't reach before. I was also paying for some more wonderful figures to display on my shelves. The games were always colourful and enthralling, keeping me entertained for hours upon hours. I've heard many great things about Imaginators, so it'll be nice for the series to go out on a high note. However, it will be greatly missed by myself, and many others.

With the Skylanders franchise either stopping or just taking a break, this does mean that Spyro can break free from his Skylander chains, opening up the possibility of a solo Spyro game. Even if it features the Skylander Spyro design, it will certainly be great to play a new Spyro game after so many years. HD remakes in the same vein as the Crash HD remakes would be highly appreciated. I look forward to seeing what's in stall for Spyro and the possible return of Skylanders in a few years time.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, I get that they wouldn't use actual footage. However, on the other, the footage they showed could easily have been from a much more powerful unit. BotW might actually play at 15FPS. Skyrim might be stuck in the lowest graphical settings. The Mario titles could just be a tech demo. The fact that there wasn't a previous disclaimer is kinda scummy, too.

Ah yes, a Wii U Gamepad style Joy Con Grip, to remind how much of a better concept the Switch is in comparison to it!

I have to disagree with the analysts completely. While I am a life long Nintendo fan, I know when Nintendo does something wrong and I will call them out on it. The first complaint about their target demographic being young adults is rather short sighted. The preview showed young adults using the system. This doesn't necessarily mean that young adults are their target demographic. I remember being a kid, and the moment I saw a child who was younger than me using a product in an advert, I was completely put off. If I was saw a young adult using something that I could also use, then I would have thought it was the coolest thing ever and that I really wanted it. The move away from putting kids in the preview was a good move, and a bold one. Nintendo has a reputation for being 'just for kids', when that isn't true. By showing young adults in the preview, it becomes accessible to both youngsters, and adults alike. I feel as though the analyst saw the preview and immediately thought 'well this isn't Nintendo'. Nintendo doing something different is a good thing, because whatever they were doing with the Wii U simply wasn't working.

As for the analyst criticising the Switch for the lack of innovation, I would like him to whip out the portable/home console hybrid that he must have been using for the past 5 years, because I haven't seen one. He also mentioned how it lacks a 'killer feature'. Because of course, playing games designed to be played at home on the go isn't a 'killer feature'. For many people, such as the millions of people praising the console for it, that is the 'killer feature'.

Analysts always come down hard on Nintendo, simply because they do something different. Before the PS4 and XBone released, I recall analysts praising the pair, exclaiming how sensational they will be. Even the PS4 Pro hasn't had analysts breathing down its neck, despite having the smallest demographic. You can quote me on this: the analysts are very, very wrong, and I believe the Switch will sell far better than the Wii U ever did.

After playing the demo, it's great to see even more cool new stuff. I was planning on going with Popplio, but that final evolution is far too... feminine, shall we say. The new Alolan forms and Ultra Beasts look awesome too!

I've been on this hype train far too long. I think I might get off at this station and just wait for a reveal.

Anyone else holding out for an Alolan Voltorb and Electrode? I thought they could look like Safari Balls.

As someone who has never had the pleasure of playing a game in 60FPS (my PC isn't the best of rigs and the only other home console I own is a Wii U), I would choose graphics over frames. 30FPS has always seemed solid to me, and when the games look gorgeous, take SM3DW for example, the fact that it's 30FPS isn't something that seems to cross my mind.

Why is this a rumour? Considering that the video came from the official LEGO Dimensions Twitter account, and the fact that the re-uploaded version of the video still includes Gizmo's ear in the bottom left of the video, surely it has been completely confirmed? Also, he world that the Wicked Witch is flying through is from Adventure Time, the Pillow Kingdom.

No doubt I'll completely ignore this and check out Windows 10... great day to release this update Nintendo...

Shovel Knight 64 MUST be a 3D Platforming Collect-em-all game. I'd like it to have a Super Mario 64 vibe to it.

Second race, communication error as I crossed the finished line in 1st... it seems luck is NEVER on my side. >

Already experienced a cheating foreign dude. I finished my first race in 3rd, suddenly I'm 4th. Checked the leaderboard, an Italian guy somehow got into 3rd place AFTER the race had finished.

I might consider joining this one. If I find cheaters again, I'm out.

I played fair, many communication errors so I got 0 for almost half my races. Got 110 points though. Can't see myself entering another tournament.

I noticed those who are currently at the top of the leaderboard definitely cheated. Weuz or something was one. Marioracer was another, saw him in several CPU lobbies before leaving once he won.

This is really disappointing, just encountered another CPU race.

Yeah gotta admit it NL, this tournament isn't exactly fair.

@PvtOttobot I've seen that too. As soon as people join they leave to find another CPU match.

I've done 3 races so far. Two of which I had a 'communication error' (which has never happened before). I now find myself with only 15 points. I won all 3. What's happened here?
