Reading these comments I feel inclined to ask how lazy some of you guys are, that you can't even be bothered to change a cartridge.
Then I remembered that I brought Mario Maker digitally on the Wii U for the exact same reasons that have been listed by all you lovely commenters! In all honestly, I would have done the same with the Switch version, but the extra cost kills it for me!
I wish they would give an option to toughen the game up for veteran Zelda players (basically everyone). Perhaps more difficult boss battles? More standard enemies roaming around?
I'm kinda ok with this. Sure, it must suck for the little guys, but at least it provides some sort of quality control. Just look at the millions of cash grab games on the App and Play Store.
I'm definitely getting Eternal, not sure if I should get it for Switch though.... Switch is my preferred platform of choice, but the online population is non existent for third party games!
@1UP_MARIO Oh wait, apologies, just realised you said the limited version.
Personally the additional 12 month online membership doesn't sell the limited version for me. Me and 7 of my mates are part of the Switch Online Family group, we divided the costs amongst us and are only paying £4.
No love for Xbox? I have a gazillion Switch pads, but only two for the Xbox one. If I could use my switch controllers on Xbox one, then this would be an instant purchase for me.
There was far more than I expected in this reveal. I was already sold on day 1, now I'm kicking myself for booking a flight abroad in Bangladesh for a month whilst the game releases!
So looking forward to this. Already pre-ordered the game. Here's hoping we will have the next Smash Character revealed at the end of the direct. Unlikely, but one can wish.
@YozenFroghurt The difference is that Nintendo released a game with an undeniably complete roster and DLC that just screams bang for buck.
Namco Bandai, on the other hand, released a game with no Base Goku and Base Vegeta and then charged money for them! Smash without Mario? Street Fighter without Ryu?
@zip They get away with it because Dragon Ball has such a rabbid fan base who would be willing to pay anything for more content. I'm one of those people unfortunately.

Re: DOOM Eternal Raises Hell On Switch This November, But It Doesn't Look Like We're Getting The Collector's Edition
@Edu23XWiiU Is there really? How easy is it to find a match online?

Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield Gets November Release Date And Special Double Pack Release
Looks like the same old tired formula. Hard pass from me. I'm sure Pokemaniacs will get a lot of fun from it though.
Re: Mario Kart Tour Beta Test Details And Images Are Already Leaking Online
Oh, there's videos of the game on YouTube. Probably an apk or two online as well.
Looks naff. The portrait kills the game IMO.
Re: Mario Kart Tour Beta Test Details And Images Are Already Leaking Online
Pre Switch days I would have been mad excited for this. Now I find myself saying, "meh".
Re: Motion Twin Brings Dead Cells: Rise Of The Giant DLC To The Switch Next Week
@Sammich Just don't update it?

But that stylus looks sweet though...
Re: It Looks Like Super Mario Maker 2 Will Include Same-Screen Multiplayer
@1UP_MARIO Not really a great price. I've preordered it from The Base for £40!

Re: Motion Twin Brings Dead Cells: Rise Of The Giant DLC To The Switch Next Week
It's unbelievable that they are doing this DLC for free. I would have easily dropped some coins for it. Bravo Motion Twin.

Was personally hoping for Master Roshi, but Janemba ain't a bad pick.
Re: Nintendo Hosts Huge 'Go Digital' Sale, Up To 90% Off More Than 130 Switch Games (Europe)
Guns, Gore and Connoli! Loved the second one, just brought the first one. Show the game some love, you won't regret it!
