Re: Reaction: A Direct That Delivered, And Shows That Switch Still Has Plenty Of Pep

It was amazing! My biggest hype is with the new Zelda, with Zelda as lead protagonist! Also so excited for Dragon Quest HD and 'The Hundred Line Last Defense Academy' looks really cool. I don't even play fighting games but Marvel vs Capcom is huge. And there are lots of smaller nice announcements. I don't get on with first person games so Metroid might not be more me, but I was buzzing for everyone else, haha.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (currently on chapter 3). Loving it so far! The main thing I struggled with was understanding how chain attacks work but it’s slowly starting to click now. The characters are all quite likeable, the map is easier to navigate (as is the menu) compared to the previous game, and the side quests have been enjoyable.
I’m also alternating between Celeste and SoS: FOMT, whenever the mood strikes.

Re: Valve Announces Steam Deck OLED, Says Switch OLED Paved The Way

I’m somewhat interested, but some initial thoughts put me off:
1. The price. That’s a big chunk of money…
2. My Switch backlog. So many games to get through, should I really be adding more?
3. The Switch successor. If a Switch 2 release is around the corner that can potentially play more demanding games and gets even more third party support, do I really need a Steam Deck?
