@Agramonte Oh hells yes I would kill for a new game of The MaXX. Well, maybe not go that far but I'd at least donate to a Kickstarter for it lol... which I would normally never do. It's good to see that someone else here appreciates the antics of this unbalanced, homeless and awesome super hero. And yeah I think you're right, the art style would be a great fit for the Switch.

(Hahaha... you, sir, obviously have good taste then)

Definitely the European cover with the Japanese one coming in second, though I agree that the Japanese version would look a lot better without all of the text at the bottom. I didn't care much for the US version at all it just seemed a bit too crowded/busy for my liking.

@Anti-Matter Yeah, I know that Smart Steering is an optional setting in MK8D for young children... but with this game and how they advertise it as one of the main features is a bit off-putting. That plus the massive "6 locations" to actually race on lol. Oh well I guess when the target audience for the game is about 5 years old they don't expect too much feedback or complaints about the content lol.

@Anti-Matter At its best, it's no more than a bland-looking kart clone - one that is obviously counting on the majority of its sales being generated by the popularity of a little kid, who (apparently) has a strong YouTube presence. And as such it is quite deserving of the cash grab status that it has (very quickly) earned.

I never claimed that it looked like a subpar game just because of the Mario Kart influence... the footage in the trailer itself is more than enough to get an idea of exactly how low the quality of the game is. And overall, it simply comes across as being no more than an uninspired attempt to cash in on the demand for this category of game - from the younger generation of gamers and their parents.
Furthermore, I was not actually bashing on 3rd party racing games by reason of them not being as popular as the heavy hitters like MK8. There are obviously some brilliant gems from the kart/racing game genre scattered around out there from various era's. e.g. Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed, Diddy Kong Racing, Daytona USA, Wacky Racers etc. are just a few great racers off the top of my head.

Sure, it's worth giving new games a chance sometimes... but for a game like "Racing with Ryan"? Nah, never going to happen... they won't get my cash. I don't want the dev team responsible for this garbage to feel encouraged, or be inspired to go ahead and release more completely garbage games in the future.

Re: Nintendo Wants The Switch Business To Continue For As Long As Possible

@Dman10 If Borderlands did end up releasing on the Switch it would be a day one purchase for me, it wouldn't even need to be Borderlands 3 I'd be more than happy double-dipping for a Switch port of The Handsome Collection. Getting the Mass Effect Trilogy on Switch would be great too but GTAV would be a pass, I never even bothered finishing it on PS4 I think it's a bit overrated. Though if a HD remake of Vice City was ever released I'd be very pleased!
