It would be nice if Konami decides to release more HS games from the NES and Turbo-Graphix 16 days because there are people out there who missed out on quite a few gems.

It's nice to hear about special limited edition bundles but it would be better if the rest of the world gets them too.

Well getting a free accessory is better than paying for it and it is still up in the air whether you need to use while playing the game.

It is pretty impressive and it also shows another angle of gameplay ideas for future games. Just imagine the possibilities....

Other than the reviews for most WiiWare games, how else would people know about a game let alone try it out on a demo to see whether or not people will buy it??? By the way, if I like the demo of a certain game, I WILL buy the full game.

Nintendo is far from being beaten. Events like these prove this time and time again. As soon as I get some money, I too will have my own 3DS and some awesome games to go with it.

Well it's about time. Instead of letting those coins going to waste, gamers can actually used their leftover balance to get stuff like this instead of only the rewards on their web site.

There's only 3 weeks left and I hope Nintendo comes through with the GBA games for the Ambassador program. I'm still upset that they are STILL sleeping on the Wii VC.

Well if Xenoblade made the jump to the US, then maybe there is hope The Last Story will come out here as well. The Wii needs all the good games it can get until this time next year.

Well if they delayed it for these reasons, then it was the right move. It's the last Zelda game for the Wii and further proves that it still has some fight left in it before the Wii U makes it debut.

It's good to see that Canada will get to play this game. Now, Nintendo needs to release the Last Story here as that's the game I'm really looking forward to try out...and I'm NOT a die hard RPG player.

Damn it....I need to get this, a 3DS and games for the 3Ds....why oh why must I be tormented by a lack of funds???

I'll remain being cautiously optimistic. While it would really surprise everyone if their online setup and capabilities have more in common with what you see with PSN and Xbox Live, an overhaul to their current online setup would be a welcome change. It doesn't have or rival the other consoles' setups but what I see is possible from the 3DS, they can definitely expand it for Wii U appropriately.

I just hope Nintendo's support of 3DS Virtual Console is way more stronger than the Wii's VC. They shouldn't STOP supporting the Wii's VC either and keep it going into the Wii U's life cycle.

I never liked paying for parts of a game that's already on the game and people can choose to buy DLC if it isn't already there to begin with. It should always be a choice to do so but of course free DLC just because you went and bought the game to begin with is the RIGHT way.

Well said, Reggie. I don't care how good those games look on mobile phones. It won't ever compare to playing a game on a console......never, EVER.

This looks like it has potential. It's on my radar so I hope the U.S. sees it soon.

I downloaded this one for the Wii from the VC series. Still, it would be interesting to see how it looks with the 3D effect.

This can be good as it could lead to Nintendo making brand new franchises. If there is any developer capable of bringing new ideas/concepts to the center stage, it's definitely Nintendo.

@Mully Yeah and I know Nintendo has to deliver in that department. What good are all the new features the Wii U will have if there aren't any great games to back it up? We all have to wait and see.

As long as the software rolls out and that they are worth picking up, Nintendo will kick butt with the 3DS. They'll need all the good games they can get as the Vita is not too far away and we all know the Sony fanboys are thrilled to get PS3 ports on the go.

Still, I'm looking forward to the Wii U as it looks to deliver even more interactivity between the gamer and the console.

The real reason the launch of the 3DS did not go so well was the lack of quality software. They should have delayed it so they could have given third party developers more time to polish their games while Nintendo could have had more time to roll out their 3DS software updates. They cannot afford to make any more of these mistakes since the Vita is going to come out soon.

These new updates sound great. Finally, Nintendo is taking steps towards embracing modern online functionality. If they are going to do this for the 3DS, it can only mean the Wii U's online system will be better this time around.

It's a good initial line up. Hopefully, they will add Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Excitetruck and Sin & Punishment in the near future.

I have tried out both the Move and Kinect at Best Buy. While it has potential, it needs games for either one to be taken seriously. As of now, neither one can say they are better than motion controls. And all the comments about developers not taking the Wii seriously, that ONLY applies to the developers and publishers who flood the Wii with shovelware because they are the main offenders (Destineer Inc., Zoo Games, DSI Games and Conspiracy are publishers that need to be put out of business.)

You're right. The SNES Final Fight had to fit in with Nintendo's "family fun" policy at the time. So two boss characters' names were renamed and the prostitutes were replaced with male escorts among the other changes it went through. Funny how the Sega CD version came out uncensored and had extra modes to play as well.

I have to say that of the Final Fight series, the first one will always be the best because it made an impact. Final Fight 3 deserves more credit for being fun because there was more variety in the characters, stages and even the moves themselves and it was better than Final Fight 2, IMO.

The Streets of Rage series was awesome in its own right and I always considered SoR2 to be the best among the 3 games. I downloaded all 3 and played through them.

This is very good on Nintendo's part. Let's see what other stuff they are cooking up for the 3DS.

I have the original SNES cartridge with matching box and manual to boot.

Now there is really no reason to not play this classic title. I hope Capcom releases X2 and X3 to the VC in the near future.

I like them both to be honest. And it's cool to see two different box art covers for the same game.

I've always liked this entry in the Mega Man series. I still kick myself for not buying the original cartridge when it came out in '92. The only way I can play this game is by firing up the Mega Man Collection for Gamecube. It's a great collection but it was weird that you couldn't customize the buttons to what you wanted.

@146: I agree but now Mega Man 5 is on the horizon and Mega Man X was just released on the VC so there may be hope for the remaining MM games.

@#4: it would be awesome to get Turtles 2 and 3 from the NES and Turtles in Time for the SNES (and on that note, the Genesis version.) But Ubisoft (correct me if I'm wrong) is the one who owns the Turtles license. It's up to them if they want them to be released and they may cost than they usually do since the first NES Turtles game was released on the VC for $6 instead of the normal $5.

I have the original SNES cartridge so it's great to see this come out at last. But I'm waiting for Mega Man X3. I never bought the SNES cartridge and I missed out on the GC anniversary collection.

Well this will remain a rumor until further notice. We have to see what happens at E3 and when Nintendo does its own press event thing. No one saw what the 3DS brought to the table until the details finally came out. Nintendo can surprise us again, in a good way. Stay tuned.

I am definitely considering this game as part of my future 3DS collection (sadly I do not have the funds to buy a 3DS now.)
