I'v only ever owned Atari, Nintendo and Sega consoles and that's the way it's going to stay.

Buying this is a no brainier, it's a fun game that looks and plays great. Just wish it saved the cups you win in single player grand prix mode!

Card only games?

Hopefully we will finally see our progress in the offline grand prix mode, ie what cups we have won!

Also the second update should address the 45 second wait between races. Great game though despite these flaws.

I use the internet and eshop to buy games so have no need to visit a store in 2019!

@SlyPlayr09 so your cups in the grand Prix will show in pitstop?

@Fidget exactly, I made this point a few days back. It's crazy that you can't see what cups you have won and they need to fix this ASAP as I can't be arsed to play the cups without this. Can't believe the reviewer didn't mention it.

@JaxonH yeah I agree, I stick to just playing the grand Prix in CTR as the adventure is just too difficult on medium, but why doesn't it save your results?

I like both kart games, but prefer sonic racing.

@Onion it's 30fps on all platforms so don't let that put you off, it plays really nicely

@Dpullam dont get me wrong, the game is very good, looks and plays good and is fun too. Just the adventure mode is very hard on anything but easy setting but it's my first experience with crash

@John_Deacon yeah I didn't realise you could upgrade your kart which makes a huge difference! Plus the music is superb as well as the tracks.

I slated team sonic racing when I first got it but this week IV really got into it and actually prefer it to CTR. What I don't like about CTR is for a casual player I just want to play grand Prix and it doesn't save your cups like mario and sonic which I find strange.

@Deltarogue feels good only thing is to boost you have to hold down R or L button depending on with direction you are drifting, then press the opposite button when the gauge is full, but you get used to it. The game reminds me of diddy Kong racing but a million times harder

I like that they are going to continue to refine the game over time, hopefully SEGA will do the same with sonic team racing and maybe release some more tracks. I like CTR but it's hard as nails, never played before so finding it tough!

The pro controller was so ahead of its time. I use mine to predict the future and talk to ghosts with equal success.

Batman returns on SNES was great and goldeneye is still a masterpiece today

Mission impossible and Superman on n64 were so bad they were good

@matdub I double dipped on mario kart and it's worth getting for the battle modes. The main game is much easier than the wii U version. It's almost impossible not to win on 150cc, wheras the wii U was more of a challenge. Looks better too

I love my 3ds, I love the cover plates on the new model and they are pretty collectable. Still play mario golf, tennis and mario kart 7 pretty much every day, plus the SEGA 3ds classics are awesome dude

I owned the switch version for a couple of days before I sold it on eBay. I had no fun with it at all, felt like the track was moving rather than the kart. No feeling of speed compared to other kart games out there.

@Nintendo_Thumb yeah like I said it will sell loads but it won't have staying power like mario kart

Mario maker 2 will be good. Initially it will be a huge success then after a few months people will stop playing and look for something else. This happened on the WII U which only had a few worthwhile games, whereas the switch has tonnes. Hopefully CTR will be infinitely better than the disappointing sonic racing.

I think that's a disgrace, shame on you Nintendo. I'm going to sell my switch in protest and buy that phone thing that was on here yesterday!

Seriously though who actually watches intro videos. It's what turned me off the og PlayStation in favour of Nintendo as it was so style over substance. Gameplay is king but let's face it there are much better kart racing games than this one.
