@John_Deacon yeah I didn't realise you could upgrade your kart which makes a huge difference! Plus the music is superb as well as the tracks.

I slated team sonic racing when I first got it but this week IV really got into it and actually prefer it to CTR. What I don't like about CTR is for a casual player I just want to play grand Prix and it doesn't save your cups like mario and sonic which I find strange.

@Deltarogue feels good only thing is to boost you have to hold down R or L button depending on with direction you are drifting, then press the opposite button when the gauge is full, but you get used to it. The game reminds me of diddy Kong racing but a million times harder

I like that they are going to continue to refine the game over time, hopefully SEGA will do the same with sonic team racing and maybe release some more tracks. I like CTR but it's hard as nails, never played before so finding it tough!

The pro controller was so ahead of its time. I use mine to predict the future and talk to ghosts with equal success.

Batman returns on SNES was great and goldeneye is still a masterpiece today

@matdub I double dipped on mario kart and it's worth getting for the battle modes. The main game is much easier than the wii U version. It's almost impossible not to win on 150cc, wheras the wii U was more of a challenge. Looks better too

I love my 3ds, I love the cover plates on the new model and they are pretty collectable. Still play mario golf, tennis and mario kart 7 pretty much every day, plus the SEGA 3ds classics are awesome dude

I owned the switch version for a couple of days before I sold it on eBay. I had no fun with it at all, felt like the track was moving rather than the kart. No feeling of speed compared to other kart games out there.

Mario maker 2 will be good. Initially it will be a huge success then after a few months people will stop playing and look for something else. This happened on the WII U which only had a few worthwhile games, whereas the switch has tonnes. Hopefully CTR will be infinitely better than the disappointing sonic racing.

I think that's a disgrace, shame on you Nintendo. I'm going to sell my switch in protest and buy that phone thing that was on here yesterday!

Seriously though who actually watches intro videos. It's what turned me off the og PlayStation in favour of Nintendo as it was so style over substance. Gameplay is king but let's face it there are much better kart racing games than this one.

It's bang average and will be out the charts in the next few weeks unlike mario kart which has been a staple in the top 10 for over 2 years now

Will buy it on sale as love these games and hopefully by that time some of the issues will be fixed

@Jevarel there was an article last week that they are not releasing any dlc for this game.

OK but I wish he would explain why they have released an inferior kart game than the 2012 sonic all stars racing transformed.

They should have just made transformed deluxe, improving frame rate and adding new tracks as sonic team racing is bang average. This game also seems slow, feels like your kart is standing still and the track is moving!

Well I'm not surprised that it's a bit of a disappointment due to running at 30fps when we are all used to mk8, but will still buy it along with CTR.

@Heavyarms55 I don't think they did it right as for me the Switch is too big to play handheld and too small to play tabletop. Hopefully the switch mini will solve the handheld play at least.

Well I've read a few reviews now and it seems the general consensus is its worse than the previous sonic all-stars, which I hated, so will definitely buy CTR instead.
