Re: Sakurai Warns Smash Bros. Fans That New Character Reveals Will Slow Down From Now On

Okay, looks like box theory is looking more likely. One character reveal in October, and then one in November. Probably Ken and Incineroar. It's already a good roster, I couldn't see myself ever being disappointed with this.

Time to start looking forward to DLC! Hope Rayman gets in because of Ubisoft's relationship with Nintendo as of late (Supporting the Wii U, Rayman Trophies in Smash 4, Mario + Rabbids, Starlink)

I've had to kill Quinn a few times just so I could take some time away from the game without consequences. Really not a fan of how, to ideally play this game, you need to set aside 5-6 hours. My playtime ended at about 5.5 hours, and I felt like this game didn't really value my time; which is probably the exact opposite the developers were going for. I like making nice and being a friend to Quinn, but the punishments for not being by this kidnapping victim's side far outweigh my desire to make friends with him.

Re: Japanese Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee Pre-Orders Include Figures And Exclusive Art Book

@Cobalt I've seen that article going around, I want to know what Sun and Moon's Amazon rankings were around this time, and what both games look like with their combined sales. Given that Amazon splits them up. Combined Sun and Moon would be about __th place, and combined Let's Go Pikachu, Let's Go Eevee, LG Pikachu Poke Ball Plus Bundle, and LG Eevee Poke Ball Plus Bundle. Having it split 4 ways messes with placement in my mind, and it'd be more concrete evidence that sales aren't doing as well if they were combined.

@HobbitGamer The comparison I see that works is the pre-order points for Sun/Moon from four months to release, but then we have to take into account that the core fanbase was all-in on those titles, and Let's Go has yet to sell to that audience (and I'm doubtful they'll even try to do so, if only one new Pokemon is in the game). Aside from that, though, the article does look like cherrypicking statistics I'd like to see expanded upon.

@UmbreonsPapa Haha! Yep, that's the fanbase for you! The better comparison is calling it Safari Zone: The Game. It's still Pokemon, just for the younger or more casual crowd, and I think most of the people coming and reading/commenting on this article would be in the veteran/hardcore crowd and might be a bit... abrasive to these games.

Re: Ubisoft Has Halted Development Of Steep On Nintendo Switch

Thought it was funny how they said "more" exciting news. As though this is exciting.
@sanderev Ubisoft gave us Rayman Legends and Mario + Rabbids on Switch, I hardly see them as another EA. And it's not like they're gonna stop supporting the Switch, it's just this game. It's a shame, but it's not the end of the world, the Switch, or Ubisoft support.
