Going from 20th to 9th is quite the leap these days, especially for a nearly 2-year-old game. And I just checked, last week it went from 39th to 20th! Guess the upcoming game, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is generating hype.
@Luffymcduck Only if you insult people to try and enforce your own opinion. If you give your criticism in a reasonable and constructive manner, then I have no problems with you.
@Timmytron 1) Not once did I claim you didn't own a copy of Sword & Shield.
2) I have not defended the games whatsoever here on Nintendo Life, because I quite frankly didn't think my opinions were welcome here based on the atmosphere here alone. All I've done 2 or 3 times is calling out people acting like a-holes, a quick look in my comment history can confirm that. I acknowledge there are flaws in Sword & Shield, but at least I don't act high and mighty about it.
3) I enjoyed playing Pokémon Sword. You trying to deconstruct my opinion (and many others, if the sales records are any indication) like that does not paint you in a good light.
I have no interest in continuing this conversation with you. If you insist on doing so, I'm just going to put on ignore because you're quite frankly not worth my time.
And as for 'you', I'm referring to several people (with Timmytron above joining the ranks of said people), who makes criticisms of the games while also attacking owners of the game by saying 'they now want lesser quality games', or 'they're nothing but toddlers' just to give a few examples. It's tiresome and predictable.
The fact is if so many people were dissatisfied with the Sword & Shield, the sales numbers would've been so much lower than it is.
@Kalmaro We do listen. We just don't like it when you keep throwing insults at us for liking these games, or insulting reviewers who gave what could be considered a positive score. Remember back in November when you called the Nintendo Life staff "shills"? After that, I consider any & all opinions you had afterward completely worthless and not worth my time. There are far more constructive manners to provide criticism and that was not one of them. There's a good reason why most of you are being ignored after all.
I'm not going to name anyone, but I'll say this. Insulting a playerbase just because you didn't like a game or two in a franchise does not make you a good critic. It only showcases you as jerks and bullies.
Something to add to the article. According to the official Pokémon website, Kubfu will evolve into either form of Urshifu depending on the choices the trainer makes.
In all seriousness, all these constant complaining about the games can't be good for your physical or mental health. My best advice for you all is to be mature and move on if you don't like the products. I can't help you if you end up getting a gastric ulcer from all the comments you create.
We have a Danish version of the dance contest in Denmark. Back when Pokémon Go was released in 2016, we had a couple who danced jive to Pokémon season 1 theme (a hard rock version was played). They had better tastes in clothes than these two mentioned in the article though.
@thiz Whenever "Bakemono", which means in Japanese "monster", was mentioned by the characters, the text would instead say "Bakemon." And that was just the tip of the iceberg.
Let's be completely honest here. There will be folks who will take a picture of the QR Code and post it on the internet. Wouldn't be surprised if the QR Codes in the images above works.
Don't forget Metroid Prime 4. We might get lucky to have it released before the end of the fiscal year, or at the very least, see some gameplay at E3 this year.
@Steve_Bowling One of the shrine on the map is outside the Great Plateau (number 1), which is actually part of the Dueling Peaks area (at the Proxim Bridge, which you can see on the Dueling Peaks map). The Bomb trial should be where 4 is, and 4 should be further south, just at the south-eastern edge of Mount Hylia, just where you can barely see the shrine icon on the map. I remember that because you had to use stasis on a nearby rock to remove it to gain access to a treasure chest down there.
The official website has this little tidbit about Palossand: "Palossand loves the vitality of Pokémon and drags small Pokémon into its body so it can steal their life force. Its sandy vortex swallows them up in a heartbeat! Pokémon dragged into Palossand leave traces of their ill will behind. It’s thought that this negative energy may be the starting point of new Sandygast..."
I wonder if Federation Force would've been panned by the minority of the fandom (I assume they're a minority) if it was released as a companion game to, say Metroid Prime 4, within the span of a few months.

@Kalmaro Pardon the late reply, I had other matters to attend to. Anyway, here's the comment in question I was referring to: https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2019/11/of_course_pokemon_sword_and_shield_is_getting_review-bombed#comment5331947

Re: Limited Run Games Teases Blaster Master Zero Announcement, More Info Next Week
@T7Hokage017 Probably because Blaster Master Zero 1 & 2 were developed by Inti Creates, the same company responsible for the Mega Man Zero series.

Re: Video: Here's The First Episode Of Pokémon: Twilight Wings, The New Online Anime Series
Love the detail with whenever Corviknight moved around, you could hear metal clattering together, just like a knight's armor.

@Kalmaro Ahem... You called the Nintendo Life Staff back in November shills, remember that? Like you said, name calling won't get you anywhere...

Re: A New Web-Exclusive Pokémon Anime Series Is Coming Early Next Year
@deKay Did a quick search, the app should support Chromecast if you have one.

Re: Get Some Extra Goodies With Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition
I'm personally curious if they have fixed some translation errors the original versions have. Does "Bakemon" ring a bell?

Re: Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Gets Its First Official Trailer, And It's Definitely Something
I'll give it a 6/10 for the time being. Still some time before the movie comes, so a lot of news can still appear.
Re: Nintendo Download: 8th November (Europe)
I have Valiant Hearts already on PC. But dang is it a good game. I personally cannot recommend it enough. Just be ready to dry your eyes with tissues.

Re: Video: See How Well Gravity-Defying Racer GRIP Performs On Nintendo Switch
I remember playing Rollcage on the PSone when I was a kid. I think I still have the same copy.
I'm definitely interested in Grip simply because it's a spiritual successor. I'll keep my eye on it.

Double-checked in-game as well to be certain.
Re: Guide: All The Shrine Locations In The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Can't help but notice that the map of the Great Plateau is inaccurate regarding the locations of the shrines. You might want to correct that.
