Re: Of Course Pokémon Sword And Shield Is Getting Review-Bombed

Toastess

i never liked sword and shield ever since the presentation was shown, like, everything seemed so dull like the game was lifeless especially since the new content in it is weird and doesn't make much sense to me such as the giant projected pokemon, plus the main protagonists look dull as well, like, duller than the main protagonists from X and Y. sword and shield kinda comes off like a boring filler in the game franchise with a lack of an interesting story like as if game freak is running out of ideas to make one big appealing pokemon game this time. i'll wait to see if the pokemon adventures manga chapters involving this version convinces me to play it in the future though chances are i probably won't play it at all cause MAN this game feels dull.

@Yosher sure i like penises, though i don't make those cause, as an artist i can draw better ones. lol though i did see one stage on twitter that showed overly explicit sexual content of a hetero couple having sex which was a little too much, sexual things are natural but showing little content of it i feel is fair like a character showing cleavage (even though thats not fully considered sexual content) but i think whats more offensive that anyone can do would be making stages that are racist and homophobic. also, anything thats cartoon-like doesn't mean it's family friendly, there are adult cartoons as well but i'm sure you know that. also, crossover games like this is a selling market for guest characters that come from other games which can, would and will peak the interest of players who are new to them and may want to play the games they originate from, Nintendo i'm sure knew about this therefore smash bros isn't meant to be family friendly since they can add more characters licensed from other game developers that have a background for mature audiences that suits their interests, the game like i said is for all ages, most things that would be considered family friendly would be anything thats non-violent and some other crap.

Re: Nintendo Removes Inappropriate Custom Stages From Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

@Yosher "family-friendly"? dude smash bros is a fighting game thats for all ages with guest characters that are even crossed over coming from a background for mature audiences alike. also, define "act" like an adult, how do you think sex jokes came about? sex in general is more adult themed as any, besides if you're that offended you don't have to play online you know, just play with people you know or don't play at all, seriously theres annoying spammers on there. lol

Re: Random: Competitive Melee Player Walks Off Stage In Match-Up Against Jigglypuff

@Spudtendo saying " I personally wouldn't be against a rule where if you avoided your opponent for a certain amount of time, you'd automatically forfeit the match. Still stand by my original argument that walking off-stage was incredibly childish though." pretty much shows you're defending the gastleum, but thats okay, it's just a game, i'm saying it's all about having fun and not just winning, even so, just remember that it isn't fair to a player who worked hard or took a long time enough to practice and earn his/her wins in a tournament compared to a player who didn't.

Re: Random: Competitive Melee Player Walks Off Stage In Match-Up Against Jigglypuff

Toastess

@Spudtendo theres nothing "childish" about walking away from an unfair match with a cheater. if he was "childish" the guy would have took his control and slammed it to the ground in frustration and yell. he has all right to not be bothered to pointlessly continue the match. you sound like you're the same as gastleum since you're still defending his bad gameplay.

Re: Random: Competitive Melee Player Walks Off Stage In Match-Up Against Jigglypuff

Toastess

@Spudtendo nah, at this point i probably feel smash tournaments should have no timer, thats kind of like a bad influence to other players who'd think they could easily get away with winning so pathetically like what gastleum did compared to players who practiced day and night for those tournaments to earn their victories. it's either you knock your opponent out the arena when doing damage or knock them off, no time limit.

Re: Random: Competitive Melee Player Walks Off Stage In Match-Up Against Jigglypuff

Toastess

@Brutchie-bear lol, chain grabs, okay so even if we were going to talk about top tier smash characters it's okay for people to constantly play by not ever engaging with your opponent regardless if the character you play as gives you the advantage at beating your opponent inflicting excessive damage. but you're right, can't force a coward to play honorably.

Re: Random: Competitive Melee Player Walks Off Stage In Match-Up Against Jigglypuff

Toastess

@Spudtendo dude, the guy practically took the time to even take down gastleum till he saw how the guy was being a little coward after losing two rounds then left himself wide open giving him a chance to see if he would come after him but didn't, you're stupid if you think it's okay for all players to do what gastleum did thats just as bad as being a constant spammer during a gameplay. you're practically supporting a coward who only likes to beat people in a fighting game by just running away till the timer runs out, that is NOT how fighting games are are played in general. it's "fighting" not "tag" get it?

Re: Random: Competitive Melee Player Walks Off Stage In Match-Up Against Jigglypuff

Toastess

@MMLgamer just to win? i'm sure many players in smash couldn't careless if they lost against someone who blocked, dodged, grabbed and put in as much damage as they could. most smash players in tournaments don't even do gastleum did, everyone expects to have fun it's not all about winning other fighting game tournaments are the same way. i've seen players play for the fun of it and they still smile and maintain good relationships regardless of any losses.

Re: Random: Competitive Melee Player Walks Off Stage In Match-Up Against Jigglypuff

Toastess

@Lizuka constantly running away getting little hits in on your opponent while the timer runs out each time in a fighting game is dumb and ruins the actual point of it. the guy even stopped for a moment leaving himself wide open giving the gastelum a chance to see if he would hit till he found out he wasn't trying to play honorably and fair which caused him to forfeit.

Re: Random: Competitive Melee Player Walks Off Stage In Match-Up Against Jigglypuff

Toastess

@Spudtendo it has nothing to do with being a "bigger man" it's about having fun, at least he continued long enough before seeing where he was going to lose, imagine playing against many players who play an actual fighting game or sport where it takes skill and effort to beat your opponent but you keep being a coward (though in this case, running away from your opponent constantly, probably not even trying to block and dodge) not putting in your best efforts to win thats not how a game is played unless you're playing tag and smash bros is not that game.

Re: A Trio Of Classic Resident Evil Games Is Coming To Switch This May

@carlos82 i also, the RE2 remake was made due to: "Capcom considered a similar remake of Resident Evil 2, but series creator Shinji Mikami did not want to divert development away from Resident Evil 4. In August 2015, Capcom announced that the remake was in development. No further details were released until E3 2018, when Capcom revealed a trailer and gameplay footage. Hideki Kamiya, director of the original Resident Evil 2, said that he had pushed Capcom to create the remake for years. Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi said the team was striving to capture the spirit of the original game." a fan game wasn't the cause.

@Moroboshi876 the originals are playstation exclusive you can't take playstation ports and just put it on a nintendo exclusive system that would be a licensing issue. as for any remakes like RE2 it was never planned for the SWITCH when the project was already started long ago at some point for the PS4 and so on.
