I don't get why everyone is so scared of third-party docks. Yes there were a few cases of bad docks causing bricking of consoles but that was at the very start of the Switch's life, they quickly fixed those problems and there haven't been any more reports of problems.
@AstroTheGamosian You might like to check out Game Builder Garage and FUZE4. Game Builder Garage I found is quite limiting and is like Scratch (eg you drag things around and connect them in order to describe how you want your game to work). FUZE4 is like a traditional programming language, you can hook a keyboard up to your Switch and type your code in.
I've never played Kiki's Delivery Service, but this game reminded me of Flying Neko Delivery, a Switch game I bought last year and which has an almost identical idea (you're a young witch flying around on a broomstick delivering parcels for the local inhabitants). Flying Neko Delivery had very little depth and grew old very fast, Mika and the Witch's Mountain looks a lot better. Even if it's not perfect I still think I'll pick it up in a sale as the idea still intrigues me.
I've always wondered why more games didn't get demos. Sure there's a chance that you might play the demo and decide you don't like the game, but there's also the chance you might find something wonderful that you would have otherwise overlooked.
Endless Ocean Luminous for me. Well over 100 hours of playing and I've still not completed the creature and salvage catalogues because I'm having too much fun playing the multi-player shared diving.
@CammyUnofficial Many thanks for pointing that out, I was unaware of how much I'd encounter in my first playthrough. I think I'll wait for the latest update to appear and then dive right in.
Hmm, Nintendolife's review of this game didn't mention any of these problems. The only negatives that were mentioned in the review is that jumping can be a bit fiddly at times and some minor frame rate drops. In fact the review says that the bugs they noticed in the pre-release version had all been stamped out!
You have to ask yourself how much of a game reviewers actually play if they missed all of the bugs listed in the patch notes, especially since some of them sound quite major...
Still, I'm glad these got fixed so quickly, I'm looking forward to trying the game (if I can get it with a good discount at some point in the future).
I bought Stardew Valley a couple of years ago but never got around to playing it because every time I was about to start there would be an announcement that a major update was coming, so I'd hold off. I kinda wish he'd out a pin in it and say "that's it, all done!" and move on to his next game.

Re: Not Sold On Switch 2 Camera? HORI's Piranha Plant Model Might Change Your Mind
Since I'm a solo gamer the whole chat side of the Switch 2 is of no interest to me. And no way I'd have a camera in my living room.
Re: Random: Redditor Predicted Switch 2's Mouse Functionality Six Years Ago
@NintonicGamer Exactly. Come up with enough wild ideas and eventually you'll get one that comes true.
I'll have a go: I predict that the Switch 4 will be built into a pair of glasses and will be fully VR.
Re: Feature: 12 Things Switch 2's Mysterious Not-C-Button Might Do, Maybe
C = Chat. It's as simple as that. People have been begging for chat functionality, Nintendo is finally doing it.

Re: Stardew Valley Creator Shares New Update About Version 1.6 Console Ports
It'll be ready when it's ready. What do people want? A rushed release that's buggy?!? Better to take the time needed to make a solid release.
Re: Rumour: More Evidence Of 'MySims' Switch Revival Surfaces Online
MySims Agents was awesome, one of my favourite games on the Wii.

Re: Natsu-Mon: 20th Century Summer Kid Is Getting A Local Switch Release This August
This looks like fun, I'll definitely try the demo to see if this is my kind of game.
Re: Poll: What's Your Switch Game Of The Year Of 2024 So Far?
Endless Ocean Luminous for me. Well over 100 hours of playing and I've still not completed the creature and salvage catalogues because I'm having too much fun playing the multi-player shared diving.
Re: Round Up: Every Game From Wholesome Direct 2024 Coming To Switch
Petit Island has me interested, I love photo games
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (8th June)
Endless Ocean Luminous for me. This will be my first time doing event dives, so I'm looking forward to that.
Re: Pokémon Centre Launches Adorable Soda Plushies Of The Original Starters
Why are they called "soda pop"? Is it because of their pastel colours?

Re: Review: CorpoNation: The Sorting Process (Switch) - A Corporate Conspiracy Worth Getting Embroiled In
No thanks, I already live in the world that the game promotes, I don't need any more commercialism!
Hang on, this game scored an 8 while Endless Ocean: Luminous was only a 5? Something's not right here...
