Re: Strap On Your Headset for Conduit 2

Taffy

That's great and all but can we have some information about the actual game. I don't get it, we know that Conduit 2 was at e3 but there's been next to nothing with regards to information about the game.

Re: E3 2010: Kid Icarus: Uprising

Taffy

"Sorry to keep you waiting!".... if that wasn't a message to the fans or what?!?! So apart from a kick arse selection of upcoming Wii games, there's the 3ds to get. So much for thinking of getting the new 360

Re: Rogue Listing On Retailer Website

Taffy

I think they've listed Activision as the publish as they publish all Lucasarts games outside of North America, so this has some legitimacy to it. Still, I would have thought that Lucasarts would have made some subtle hints so it's more then likely fake. Pity really

Re: Electronic Arts Less Than Happy With Wii Sales

Taffy

In the case of Dead Space: Extraction there was no advertisement for it. The original Dead Space had lods of adverts on Sky Sports and Bravo but for Extraction there was no marketing what so ever. You can't expect to an onrail shooter with no advertisment match the sales of a multi-platform third person adventure which had loads of exposure. When you look at EA Active, I saw plenty of commercials for that and look what happened, it sold really well. Don't these people use their heads????

Re: Zelda Tin Switches Tracks to GAME

Taffy

@ jpcicno6

i wouldn't worry, i pre-ordered sam & max from them and it got here in two days. Just pray that maltapost don't dent the tin cause i've had a few things damaged thanks to them

Re: UK Retailers Give Muramasa a Miss

Taffy

I don't bother with high street retailer sites as their selection is usually sub-par. Play.com and Dvd.co.uk are the best in my opinion and they both have the game for pre-order.

Re: Zelda Gets a Makeover!

Taffy

@Bensei:
If you looked at me earlier post (8) there's your answer BUT I wouldn't bother trying to order this now, I just got an answer back from the gamestation website saying that they've met their pre-order allocation so it is not available anymore, good thing I got the order in in time

Re: Zelda Gets a Makeover!

Taffy

quick update guys, the item is no longer on gamestations website after the maintenance but my pre-order is still active, i've emailed them to provide me with an update of what's going on

Re: Zelda Gets a Makeover!

Taffy

I ordered it ages ago cause i'm a sucker for these things. It cost's £39.99 with free uk P&P but cause I live in Malta I had to pay an additional £2.95 for that.

Re: Mario Moneybox Wants Your Coins, UK Readers!

Taffy

Quick update guys, you can order from GAME and they will deliver outside UK. It has an additional cost for delivery though and the cost varies from certain areas, Australian delivery is more than European for example

Re: NVIDIA-Powered DS Successor Coming 2010?

Taffy

unless sales fall rapidly for the dsi i really don't see nintendo announcing another handheld as that could potentially reduce the sales for the dsi (which is currently the best selling platform both handheld and home console market wise)

Re: It's Official: Nintendo is the Best

Taffy

god if this was n4g they'd all cry foul... I like to go there from time to time to have a laugh at the comments section. You know they still bitch that the ds is selling so well and can't understand why. Mint I tell you.

Re: Monster Hunter 3 May Be Feeless

Taffy

I'm with Hardy83 on this one. Besides people pay for gold membership on xbox live, why shouldn't we pay a minimal monthly fee and benefit from a better online experience in the process. For a console designed for everyone, the Wii's online design isn't.

Re: Ubisoft: The DS Salad Days Are Over

Taffy

Wait a second... in decline? The DSi sold over 60,000 units in Japan and even outsold the ps3 there, how can it's market be in decline?

Looking through the 7 games I own which are published by them only one of them is exceptional and one decent, the rest are mediocre at best:
Splintercell: Chaos Theory
Assassins Creed: Altiar's Chronicles
Star Wars: Episode 3 - Revenge Of The Sith (decent)
Brothers In Arms DS
Star Wars: Lethal Alliance
Prince Of Persia: The Fallen King
Ninja GaidenL Dragon Sword (exceptional)

Those aren't even what can be considered casual titles and out of the 7 I listed, the best one wasn't even developed by them.
