I bought Shovel Knight last week, so I’ve been addicted to that for the past couple of days. Also want to try more of Byleth in Smash.

Never played the original versions, but I fell in love with the N Sane Trilogy on the switch. He’s my most wanted character after Waluigi!

The character looks cool and much more fun to play than other FE characters, but I’m not a fan of the franchise. I thought the Mii Fighters were the best part.

100% agree. This is literally my favourite game of all time. Everything about it is perfection.

Why is everyone complaining? Yes the DLC might be a bit overpriced for someone who isn’t a massive fan like me, but Game Freak heard the complaints about Dexit and are now fixing it. And if they were to add new/old Pokémon, it was always going to be through paid DLC; Game Freak aren’t a charity. They’re not going to be giving away hundreds of Pokémon for free! Stop complaining and be happy you actually got your way!

Detective Pikachu for switch with bonus features based on the movie. Calling it now.

Love Star Wars and grew up with TT’s LEGO games. Super excited to see how they adapt the latest films.

Why does everyone hate Sword and Sheild? Yes there’s no national dex, but there’s still about 400 Pokémon, which is more than enough in my opinion

I actually prefer the one stock rules. As a mix between a casual and competitive player (I know all my mains moves, play with no items and care about buffing and nerfing but I’m no good), I rarely win. I can still see players who are really into it feel annoyed that Nintendo didn’t tell them, but I just think 2 stock is a bit too long.

What kind of title is that? I mean, I only watch the Nintendo direct and the odd trailer for a game I’m interested in, but seriously? I want to say more but it’s already been said. It’s a stupid title and screams corporate nonsense to me

I’m definitely excited for this game, but I do want a little bit more out of a £50 game. At the end of the day, it’s still a game boy game. Not much can change that. I think Nintendo should’ve dropped the price to £35 and make it a budget title like a lot of the remakes of this generation (Spyro and Crash). If they still wanted to get £50 out of it, they should have bundled the oracle games too and made it the ‘Zelda portable trilogy’. I’d be much happier with that

I never really saw it as a Nintendo exclusive, more like a game that would work best in the 3DS and wouldn’t work on the PS4. I always thought they were capitalising in Pokemon and when they actually got a decent following, then they could move onto a larger install base.

My DSi just doesn't work after years of play time, my wii mote's C and Z buttons don't work and I have Joy Con Drift like most people.

Nothing to do with the game, but I like the new joy-con way of rating games. I don't know how longs its been implemented, but it's clever. Good job, Nintendo Life!

I'm happy with my switch and can't see a reason to buy it when you have already got a switch.

However, I do have an opinion on it. I think the smart move for Nintendo is to make a smaller switch with detachable joy-cons, and a lot of people seem to agree with me. But what about games like 1-2 Switch and Super Mario Party which require joy-cons? Even if it bumps the price a little, this mini switch should be able to connect with separately bought controllers and work with the dock. This then could make it ideal for large families which already have a switch and easier to play with friends wirelessly.

Just a thought though. The additions might make it too expensive or impractical for the target demographic Nintendo wants, which I think is definitely a younger audience than the hardcore gamers who bought the switch.

Bought it as soon as it came out. Wish they could have done more, but I think the NES stuff is underrated. I still want a virtural console, but for those who couldn't get a NES classic, I think its great. Online could be a lot better, but not disappointed in a Netflix-style streaming service for £18 a year.

Will it only work on tabletop mode or can it also work docked? If it works for both I will definitely buy it. Have a SNES classic controller and will pick a gamecube controller for smash. For the same price as a gamecube adapter, I will pick one up
