@Alucard83 media overuse the comparison with dark souls, but Salt and Sanctuary really is a dark souls in 2D. Its not just because it is difficult. It uses the same mecanics of losing souls on death, stamina managment, bazzilion weapon choices, NO ingame map and other things

@SwitchForce You are completely right. Im not buying it. Just saying its expensive even if its good. But hey... I bought diablo 3 for 60 bucks again!

@Equinox IMHO Xenoblade 2 is a good game and just that. It has some execution problems that got many negative reviews

@Peterjr1 I got your point. The fanservice is really exaggerated and out of place. I was trying to play a good RPG but the outfits doesnt matchup. But people here will defend it nevertheless. Thats OK, but I believe the game loses some players if it continues to use this kind of fanservice in newer iterations.

Dont know if Atari can get this title right. It seems by the GDC vídeo that it was based on the mobile game but without the microtransactions. Thats good news. Ill wait for a sale

I think its a good idea to read something about weapons upgrade and how it works with your stats. The game doesnt give any hint how things work and u will lose a lot of time with automatic banana bread builds. It becomes way more punishing

@Woosh193 Git Gud! =D. Jokes aside the beggining of the game is really punishing. Maybe too much. The other entries on the franchise made the beggining more beareble. Did u tried some jolly cooperation summoning other players? Thats is the way to go if u are having problems

Its a good game. Played on PC sometime ago. But it is really really depressing. Basically you are in a realistic hell having to choose who will suffer more.

NintendoLife should reconsider using scores if it cant use it consistently. This is not a 5/10 game.

Really confusing review. It talks trash of the game for being just a simulation... Im playing for some hours and its great. THe best simulation so far on the switch.

Danmaku unlimited 3 got a 9 in nintendo life review. I thought they werer similar games with Tohou being much more "japanese".

My two cents. DS2 is a great game. The level design it a little less impressive compared to DS1 and DS3 but it has a lot of content. Tons of weapons and possible builds. Tons of bosses. Its really good. But its not for everyone just like DS1 and DS3

@justin233 Celeste is more like a super hard plataformer. Something similar do super meat boy and others. Salt and Sanctuary has a good challange but not as a plataformer. Is more like metroidvania with really good boss battles, collectibles, secrets, places where u cant go until u get some new skill. This kind of thing. Its not super hard or unfair

Really great game. Metroidvania with lots of customization in your build. Played a lot in the PC. Good one for the Switch!

@BigE thats is my felling too. There is just too many options nowadays for me to replay some ancient game again... but then I see myself reinstalling Majesty for the 10th time on PC =)

@DannyBoi Give a chance to the multiplayer mode. Its really good and for me the main reason for this game existence.
