NIS America has revealed the release date for Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories' upcoming western release on Nintendo Switch, alongside a brand new trailer. You'll be able to get your hands on the game from 7th April in North America, Europe, and Oceania.
A game full of disaster and important choices, this one has you trying to run away from your destroyed city, helping others you meet along the way and looking for safe ways to escape. Back in August, a trailer was shared which gave us a deeper look into the game's cast of characters and the ways in which you'll be interacting with them.
Here's the lowdown:
A calm summer day turns into catastrophe when a massive earthquake strikes your city, throwing buildings and lives into chaos. In order to survive, you must navigate familiar locations under unfamiliar circumstances. The fellow survivors you meet and crucial decisions you make will affect the course of your experience and ultimately determine how your journey through this crisis will end.
Key Features:
- Stop! Think! Then Act! - Evaluate each perilous situation and make decisions that will impact your own safety as well as that of others.
- Torn From the Headlines - Interact with realistic scenarios within a Japanese city devastated by an earthquake, including scenarios designed in collaboration with the Kobe City Fire Bureau.
- Danger Around Every Corner - Navigate a multitude of crises—from collapsing buildings to raging fires—in a city aplomb with peril.
As weird as it sounds, do you like the idea of guiding someone through such disaster? Are you tempted to give the game a try this April? Tell us below.

Nice! I have been waiting on this game!
Heck yeah sounds great
Welp, as someone who lives in America, this will be the closest thing to "Disaster: Day of Crisis" that I will ever get.
I'm still going to import this but I'm happy it is coming west.
Looks pretty interesting.
I love when the guy thanks her for the toilet paper and touches her shoulder and she looks ar his hand on her as if say ... >.<
All this game needs now is on-rail shooting action and qte's. Funny thing, though, looking at it, I actually want to play Disaster Day of Crisis again, as I kind of enjoyed it and kept it in my Wii collection. One of the quite many amazing Wii exclusives that aren't actually that great but have that certain "je ne sais quoi". Pardon my French.
Pre-ordered this in October already.
I’m very concerned about how this will run on switch considering it’s on PS4 as well.
Interested to see how this'll turn out. Gotta say, it is visually unappealing. Some really mediocre run-of-the-mill visuals and last gen, to be generous, animation, bare-bone texture ... with nothing I can identify as art direction at all
It doesn't look very impressive, but it might be a lot of fun. Who knows
I am willing to give this a try it's different from just RPG and Wargames.
ive had this pre ordered as well and looking forward to this
@Ralek85 it's because it was suppose to released on march 2011 for the ps3 but it was cancelled because of fukushima.

Downloaded the JP demo a while back and the framerate utterly tanks at times of on-screen busy-ness.
Also, the joycons vibrate like there's something wrong with 'em when the tremors hit 😂
@nathatruc Explains alot, thanks!
