@InterwebUser Fire Emblem: Awakening had 43 chapters and another 6 released absolutely free. 12 would be less than 1/3 of a full game assuming 43 is a full game.
@Spleetal I actually wouldn't mind paying $50. I beat Awakening 4 times and am now working on my fifth, so I could justify that. However, splitting one game into parts isn't something I'll go for.
@TingLz But we don't know how much content will be reused. The Direct said that the characters would be the same, and we know that the first six chapters are the exact same. For all we know, it could be much more like Pokemon instead of the Oracle games.
@Spleetal My assumption is that, in the states, we'll have both paths on cart for $40. American audiences don't normally take kindly to this sort of thing from my experience, and hopefully Nintendo knows that. Plus they've talked it up as a huge choice, so it looks like they won't be splitting the game up in the states.
@Falchion But by showing their anger, they're trying to show Nintendo that they don't support their decision before the game releases. There's plenty of reason to show what you think of this decision in the comment section of the article reporting on it.
I expect some trolling on the part of Nintendo. Reggie: We will also be launching every first party N64, SNES and NES game on the Wii U virtual console this Summer. Fans: FINALLY! Reggie: April fools!
@nacho_chicken Okay, thanks. I needed a new SD card, so I ordered a Micro so I wouldn't have to order a fourth when I upgraded. I was worried about the adapter, so thanks for letting me know!
I have some left over credit on my account and was hoping for a good new game this week, but looks like I'll be holding onto the credit for a little longer.
I thought it was announced that all SSB4 fighters were getting an Amiibo. Doesn't that mean all of the choices for the vote will be made into Amiibo eventually?
Anyone else feel like it took a long time to get anywhere on Epona? Five minutes isn't a long time the first time you make the trip, but if you're making it dozens of times it'll get tedious.
@Platypus101 "look at the 9 games we have" Because quantity is more important than quality! Seriously, all of the current gen consoles are good. No need for "console wars".
@Maelstrom Your comment has too much water. /joke I agree, "too much water" was all over Facebook (the only social network I use) and so it makes sense that it would spread across Tumblr like wildfire.

Will NintendoLife be reviewing the new Streetpass games?
Re: Weirdness: The Worst Ever Charmander Tattoo Has Gone Viral
Tattoo removal may be expensive and painful, but it may be worth it in his case.
Re: Nintendo Download: 9th April (North America)
Since it's free I guess I'll be trying out the new Pokemon Rumble.

Re: New Fire Emblem on 3DS Takes Shape as Two Separate Releases in Japan
@Falchion That's not what it sounded like during the American direct to me.
Re: New Fire Emblem on 3DS Takes Shape as Two Separate Releases in Japan
Sounds like Pokemon style pricing. My guess is most of the maps will be reused, but there will be a few differences.

Re: New Nintendo 3DS Exploit Makes Japanese Systems Region-Free
@retro_player_22 Because not everyone wants to buy two units. Instead of using two units, I can just use the small japanese one for both.
Re: Nintendo's Implementation of Cross-Buy is Surprisingly Generous
IIRC you can download any game tied to your PSN account onto any Playstation when you've logged on.
Re: Excave
Portable dungeon crawling? Sounds good to me, but I'll probably wait for a review.
Re: Nintendo Download: 19th February (North America)
Excave sounds interesting. I love dungeon crawlers, so I may give it a shot.
Re: Reaction: Pokémon Shuffle Isn't Quite Microtransaction Hell, But It's Getting There
Oh Nintendo, when I said I wanted you to start doing DLC, I meant for you to look at DLC like Dragonborn, not the Horse Armor.
Re: Eiji Aonuma Explains Why Tingle is Such a Peculiar Character

@RupeeClock The Olympics recognize Chess as a sport, they just don't include it as an event.

@nacho_chicken Okay, thanks. I needed a new SD card, so I ordered a Micro so I wouldn't have to order a fourth when I upgraded. I was worried about the adapter, so thanks for letting me know!
Re: Nintendo Lists Formally Tested Micro SDHC Cards for the New Nintendo 3DS
Until I upgrade 3DSes, my MicroSD cards will work fine in my regular 3DS if I use an adapter, right?
Re: Video: New Nintendo 3DS In-Depth Review: Episode Two
The audio quality in the reviews has been very poor.
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Virtual Console / Nintendo 64)
@Cookieman336 I stopped playing the game around the fire temple. By then it felt like a chore to play. It's a good game, just not all that great.
Re: Nintendo Download: 29th January (North America)
Fingers crossed for a cool throwback sale.
Re: Poll: Nintendo's Year of Adventure on Wii U and 3DS Promises Hundreds of Immersive Gaming Hours
Monster Hunter 4, Arkham Knight, and Uncharted 4 are my games for this year. Sorry, Zelda.
Re: Poll: Which New Nintendo 3DS Will You be Buying?
I keep telling myself that I don't need to upgrade, and that my Cosmo Black 3DS will suffice, but my sub conscious won't listen to me.
Re: Get Ready For The Most Expensive Video Game Auction Of All Time
@TheAceofMystery It's still probably still worth some money.
Re: Nintendo Download: 8th January (North America)
I have some left over credit on my account and was hoping for a good new game this week, but looks like I'll be holding onto the credit for a little longer.
Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2015
@The_Ninja I tend not to purchase remakes at full price, especially when I own the original.
Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2015
@Omarzy Nope. The only new game I've purchased for my 3DS that came out this year was Tomodachi Life on a B1G1 sale.
Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2015
Code Name STEAM and Monster Hunter look good. Other than that, this looks like another disappointing year for the 3DS.
Re: Happy New Year From All at Nintendo Life
Happy New Years to Nintendolife and the Nintendolife community!
Re: Nintendo Download: 1st January (North America)
Might pick up Shovel Knight on 3DS for $10, but I'm undecided.
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th December (North America)
Resident Evil Revelations for $9... I may have to pick it up at that price.

Re: Matters Of Import: Collectible Badge Centre Brings A Personal Touch To 3DS Customisation
I'd just save up my free tries and use those.
Re: Feature: Time to Vote For Your Game of the Year Awards 2014
The 3DS was underwhelming this year, the only game I've purchased for it being Tomodachi Life. Guess I'll have to vote for that then.

Re: Talking Point: The Time Is Right For A Nintendo Phone
@maneauleau My iPhone's battery lasts longer than the one in my 3DS.
Re: Talking Point: The Time Is Right For A Nintendo Phone
If Nintendo made a phone, it would be a novelty produce. Considering all that would have to go into making the phone, it would be a huge waste.

I'll be the 1% picking up Etrian Odyssey. I haven't picked it up yet, and $15 is a great deal.
