The internet's a peculiar but often funny place, in which the daftest of things can go viral and amuse millions. A current craze seems to be having a laugh at a 27-year-old who tried to tattoo Charmander onto himself, while drunk.
You can see the results below - apologies for the gratuitous pasty complexion and hairy belly button.
It's quite a spectacle, and has positively blown up on the likes of Reddit, with versions of the awful tattoo appearing in impromptu mugs, animations and more.
Charmander forever for this guy - well it's a sort of Charmander.
Go derpy-der use self destruct.
kinda looks like pen, cant be sure, but theres no bruising or scaring... so who knows
I can see him busting it out at Comicon trying to win brownie points with all the pokemaniacs.
That guy's 27? He looks 18 at most
Also good lord he needs a few pizzas
What is that??? (not the tattoo, i mean that charmender design)
ya that really an odd drawing of it.
That Charmander tattoo is absolutely hideous. If I was him, I'd be afraid to take my shirt off at the beach for years to come, especially when you get older. You'll start getting some belly fat and then it will become an obese Charmander. So awful looking.
For some reason I actually really like it. It reminds me of these images:
It's on t-shirts and everything. Pretty amusing.
Ugh, this is here too... It may be a bad tattoo, but it's not based on normal Charmander. It's based on the Charmander from someone's series of Tim Burton-inspired Pokemon drawings.
@Rifick Yep, same series.
Charmander from a GameBoy?
wait so wtf is this a bad tattoo or a good one bases on the tim burton design? o. O anyway yeah that guy looks like 17 or something wow
Tattoo removal may be expensive and painful, but it may be worth it in his case.
This dude looks like an addict.
@TeeJay i know man, he's such a little squirtle........
I'd cover it with a Missingno if I were him.
Pinch of salt please
It looks like cancer, the person not the tat. I actually like the simplicity of the Charmander, looks like a 5 yearold drew it. Has a charm to it.
@BieberBlows yeah, some people's pokemon habbits are way out of control!!!
I though Janet Jackson was bad enough at the Superbowl halftime show.
His version actually isn't that bad for tattooing self whilst drunk.
Poor guy. He should start a crowdfunding for the laser removal. Drinking is so bad, it makes you draw like a 4-year old. Maybe if he erases somehow the flame at the tail tip it wouldn't look so bad, at least it wouldn't make you laugh because of the thought that he tried to draw a Charmander.
Wouldn't it be cool if someone adds this character to Smash in a mod?
That dude needs help. In a way the tattoo is a good thing for him. It draws attention away from the rest of his body.
If the tattoo is real, it isn't fresh. I remember getting my Sonic & Tails tattoo on my right shoulder... You can tell when a tattoo is fresh. I want believe its just bad artwork blamed on intoxication. The kid looks so trashy that I wouldn't be surprised if other substances helped. I have a hard time believing any of the story, age, substances, or if its even a real tattoo. The flames on the tail look real, but we live in an age of Photoshop too. Congratulations to him and his 15 minutes of fame.
I love bad tattoo's
This is hilarious
I guess someone have an interesting story to tell this summer at the beach.
Hold on, that's Charmander? i thought it was a poorly drawing Rigby from Regular Show.
Kinda looks like what an ancient cave drawing version of charms see would look like
I kinda like the tattoo, at least it has some charm
Looks like he was drunk when taking the picture, too.
FAAAAKE. This was drawn, not tattooed. And it's not supposed to actually be real Charmander. And he probably wasn't even drunk.
While drunk? Kinda impressive.
Also you are bored or what?
This kind of news?
I knew that 99% of web is shit but come on.
At least not there please.
@Ketchupcat Yep, thought it looked familiar
This looks like marker or pen... how do we know this isn't just a drawing?
I actually like it. It looks like the style of an ancient cave-painting or something. Dude, be proud of that that tat! It's how cave-trainers drew charmander.
This is insulting to one of my top favorite Pokemon.
