@Truegamer79 I have noticed a trend. You mentioned woke agendas, and then a lot of people jumped on you to passively, or actively, demean you, for simply having pointed out the fact there are political and societal topics injected into Netflix. It's true, but I find the backlash against your rather bizarre. Everyone is allowed an opinion, and it's not cool for others to pull people down for expressing their own, as was done to you. The woke mob can't help but attack others for having a different opinion.
How about people move on from their language desires and discuss the game?
There's many people this game did serve well, and we aren't a globalised one world government, thank God, we each have our unique culture and that's the end of it.
Fit in, or don't, but to expect a niche game to revolve around one language, or pretending to boycot a great game for personal bias, is rather black and white thinking.
I grew up with 80s and 90s sierra/lucasarts point and click adventures.
These games are a healthy way to enhance problem solving abilities and keep you vibrating on a happy/neutral mental health level, plus the storytelling feels akin to reading a book or watching an anthology.
I'm pretty sure my first experience with Simon the sorcerer came on a computer game magazine floppy demo disk, but I have since played 1 and 2 and they are brilliant. I hope they also get released again for switch 2.
Considering we now have mouse support, I would love to revisit Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Space Quest, Police Quest, The Day of the Tentacle, Flight of the Amazon Queen, Full Throttle, and the rest!
Many of these games came from an era prior to big game studios, with creators and developers not receiving the accolades which is commonly expected in today's era, and working in small offices or home garages (albeit not the lucasarts games obviously!).
Simon was a strange choice to resurrect, but a brilliant decision!
I just wish play asia hadn't cancelled the physical orders of this game!
At this stage most titles are cheaper second hand, and physical is forever.
However, I find it very convenient to have a digital collection on a handheld console, because physical media is somewhat a weakness for portable collections. You can lose them or forget them, or just not enjoy swapping them out.
I often find myself buying both physical and digital, especially if I love the title, but always on special or secondhand.
It's hard to beat third party digital sales, whereas Nintendo vouchers don't offer too much these days, other than convenience.

Re: "One Of The Best-Looking Games On Switch 2" - Digital Foundry Dives Into Metroid Prime 4
Bring it ON!
G'day from down under!
Re: Reminder: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Is Available With A Switch Game Voucher
@JaxonH @rvcolem1 thanks for your persuasions and sharing your experiences.
I think that summary was the best I've read so far. Digital is PHYSICAL on the sd card, and it's a backup in their three decade long servers.
The dark side is tempting me.
To be continued.
Re: Reminder: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Is Available With A Switch Game Voucher
@nintendolife Can you run a poll on whether people are doing the voucher or going physical!?
I'm starting to feel converted to the digital side now that others here told me physical won't necessarily last forever.
I need a nudge! And I'm starting to get over swapping carts over. I think handheld future might be digital for me.
,,, and g'day from down under!

Re: Mini Review: Simon The Sorcerer Origins (Switch) - A Faithful Return To A Classic Adventure Series
@Glassneedles I had no idea there was a full throttle remaster!
Thanks a lot mate!
Have a good day.

Re: Nintendo Adds One Of The Most Divisive Zelda Entries To 'Nintendo Music'
This was my first Zelda game when I was still in primary school.
Brutal. Exciting. The fantasy, and lack of understanding, was phenomenal.
I only finished the game as an adult, and it is just as brutal.
It's one of the best memories for me, but I'm not going to say it's the best Zelda game because...it is BRUTAL!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (20th September)
I decided to return Space Adventure Cobra and replaced it with Dragon Quest III 2dHD.
My first Dragon Quest game, wish me luck!
PS I finally finished steam world heist 2. The story is great but the last 3 levels sucked.
G'day from down under.

Re: ICYMI: Nintendo Reminds Us Switch Game Vouchers Won't Be Sold After January 2026
@Medic_alert I hadn't taken this into account earlier, much appreciated.
It's a bit of a pickle now.
Re: ICYMI: Nintendo Reminds Us Switch Game Vouchers Won't Be Sold After January 2026
@Suketoudara absolutely great point. I hadn't really considered that they are simply a solid state memory with x amount of reads.
I guess this is the same for the SD cards we download the games onto also, but we can always re-download onto a new sd if it's a digital purchase.
Re: ICYMI: Nintendo Reminds Us Switch Game Vouchers Won't Be Sold After January 2026
@Olmectron yikes! I did not know this, thank you.
