@sixrings you absolutely should not buy this game at launch if you don’t plan on playing it online. Even if they did promise to add local multiplayer, I wouldn’t take a chance until the feature was released. I doubt local multiplayer is entirely off the table, but I also doubt it’s planned at this point. They’re focusing on getting the game out on multiple platforms, and given how long they’ve been taking to get this slightly updated port out, I don’t think they’re even giving Future updates a thought. I do agree anyone that was planning on only using local multiplayer should pass on this game though, unless something changes.
@Naoto-chi precisely why I say COUCH coop doesn’t work - all sharing one tv and console with different controls. I’ve repeatedly said in my comments that local coop COULD work, I’m just not in favor of delaying the game to add it - a feature like that could always be added after release.
As for NSO... this isn’t a Nintendo exclusive game, it’s cross platform. Any players that want to play online can do so on iOS for free - they don’t even need to pay a cent, as there will be a free version that only requires one player to own the full game. NSO is only $4/month, so I don’t really think Square has any obligation to cater to players just for that... especially since local coop would only be relevant to Switch players. PS4 wouldn’t be capable of that and it’s redundant for iOS. This is what I mean by local coop being only applicable to a minority of their potential players. It’s a portion of only one platforms users. Even if a third of all buyers end up being Switch consumers, and even if half of them wanted local multiplayer (which I feel is very generous estimates), that would be 1/6th of the consumers. Delaying the game for local coop would be delaying it on multiple platforms for a feature only used the Switch version that only some of those players would even use. Leaving the other option to just delay the Switch version, which also pushes away consumers. There’s no realistic reason to delay the entire game just to add local play.
As I said, I’ve nothing wrong with them adding local play later. Any additional support for the game post-release is appreciated, even if it’s not features I’ll use. I’d be surprised if they do add it later, as I don’t think they’ll bother to add on a feature just for the Switch version (especially when I’m sure Square is banking on the iOS version for the most income, just looking at the mobile trend), but I am not in the slightest against adding the feature later on. Only delaying an entire multiplatform game to add a feature to one version of it.
@Naoto-chi the original had couch coop because there was a method for every player to have a private screen. See me other comments if you don’t realize which mechanic I mean.
Local coop is only relevant to players who don’t have online and are in the same room. It’d be one thing if this game wasn’t delayed over a year from its original release window. At this point, just release it. They can add local coop later if there’s enough demand for it, but a vast majority of multiplayers games are played online nowadays. No matter what you think, a vast majority of the players were already going to be playing it online. Local coop players were a minority. A delay to cater to those fans is just screwing over the other fans who have been waiting through all the delays for a feature most players won’t touch, especially when it could always be added in earlier. Just let them release the game.
@Naoto-chi the game was already delayed, what, 3 times? We should’ve had this a year ago. Delaying it again to please the small percentage of people that would use local multiplayer is a slap in the face to those that have been waiting through the delays and have Nintendo Online anyways. And I already thoroughly explained why couch coop wouldn’t work without cutting out a key mechanic.
@garfreek I mean, it’s no excuse to cut out local multiplayer, which they also did, so I’m not entirely convinced that was the reason they cut those features. I just don’t never thought couch coop would work. That being said, I’d rather they release it without local multiplayer than deal with ANOTHER delay.
@Heavyarms55 perhaps they do intend to add it. Hard to know, though I don’t see it as being a feature worth that much effort to properly implement - I think it’s a vocal minority that want a fourth level over other features.
As for what’s stopping them from testing it? Resources. Most games with ongoing content like this have a very small team after release to handle updates. The team might even have split responsibilities between this and another project, only devoting so many hours a week to this game. The limited manpower and time is spent working on additional features, events, and bug squishing. Time spent testing a fourth level is time not spent on the other upcoming content. It’s quite likely they have a lot of the future content already planned out so their priority would be those deadlines. Any extra time may be spent adding other features that they didn’t plan but hoped they’d get a chance to add eventually, or simply things they plan to add once they have enough time to finish implementing them. Sure, they could spend some of those resources on adding a fourth level, but perhaps they feel the other ideas they want to implement will be better received.
Personally, officially adding in a fourth level isn’t exciting enough to me to delay other content. Especially since a lot of players that want it use the exploits anyways and so adding it wouldn’t feel like a big deal to them. It’d be an update that is nearly meaningless to the players already using exploits and irrelevant to quite a few players who are happy with their current layouts. I’m not saying it’s a waste of time or that nobody would be happy, but in the end they do have to weigh what features they think would be most wanted and this one doesn’t seem as high on the list. Properly implementing it would probably take less time than something like diving, but certainly more time than most events that just add a character and/or new furniture. Heck, they didn’t even do enough testing for Bunny Day and that should’ve been simple to implement. It’s hard to know what issues could crop up with actually adding a fourth level - could be nothing, could be game breaking.
@garfreek that both changes the way the mechanic functions heavily while also making it unbalanced for different “roles”. Having no secret missions means players directly interfere with each other’s goals, increasing the competitiveness a lot and encouraging more “sabotage”. Having it based on damage dealt gives Lilties an unfair advantage on stages with enemies that have low defenses (given their higher attack power) and gives Yukes an unfair advantage on stages with enemies vulnerable to magic (given their great magic stats and abilities). Selkies would suffer noticeably, given their stats are lower and they favor evasion, while Clavats would suffer even more, having average stats and focusing more on defense and survival. The artifact system, being the main source of growth, once again rewards players with the most points by letting them pick first, giving them the best treasures. This proposed system means that, right from the getgo, Lilties and Yukes would have a head start and the other races likely would never catch up as those two grew in power (which would be better depends on what stages get played most). Not to mention it discourages wasting artifact choices on healing, as it gives party members yet another stage to focus on power and get a lead there.
Sure, party members can theoretically cooperate entirely and save certain artifacts for each other, but at that point you may as well remove the system entirely. The secret missions were a feature that really set the game apart from other cooperative action RPGs. I still see no way to properly implement it in couch coop and stand by my opinion that they’d be cutting a key component of the game out if they removed it.
Personally, I’d be too nervous to place anything up there. What if they do patch it out and things just get stuck up there? Besides, I keep running out of space with three levels, I don’t know where I really would put a fourth level. Wish there was a way to get a bigger island!
@Heavyarms55 they might not have done much bug testing on that level so they simply don’t know what will break. They have to draw a line somewhere, and if they haven’t done many tests it’s a bit risky to just open it up (especially if it ends up having some game breaking bugs). Granted, players are seeming to find it works fine (as far as I know), but Nintendo is likely playing it safe so they have no liability if something breaks badly from exploiting the glitch.
@Mr-Glissando hm. My frame rate has been silky smooth and I haven’t heard any friends complain about it either. Even when on an island with 7 other players, I haven’t had frame rate drops.
I didn’t understand how couch co-op was going to work anyways, given the entire gimmick requiring GBAs in the first place - secret missions for each player, which score points used to determine who gets first dibs on that dungeon’s treasure (literally the only form of character growth in the game). The competitive co-op nature was a pretty big part of the original, and I’ve yet to see someone suggest how that could’ve worked if everyone shared a screen.
That being said, I’m surprised they dropped local co-op entirely but not upset. As someone who grew up with the game, I am now an adult and the friends I once played with are all in different cities. This was always going to be online only for me. Guess it sucks for those who actually had local friends they planned to play with on one console but... eh? Online subscriptions are free and you can even play in the same room through the internet. It’s backwards, sure, but I’d rather this than another delay. Wouldn’t be surprised if this was due to the pandemic affecting the tail end of development. I see some people complaining this will affect the number of players to play online with, but as far as I know it was friends only anyways, so all that matters is if your friends are still getting it. I’m still trying to figure out which friends I’m playing with because, at this point, I know too many people getting it and wouldn’t want more than one character of every race (assuming there’s even is 4 save files). Either way, given it’s even releasing on iOS, I doubt it’ll be that hard to find people online who will be looking for people to play with.
I like the way it’s being handled. It’s hard to be involved in the AC community if you aren’t a time traveler and the time traveling players constantly share stuff that would be spoilers if you’re playing day by day. I’m fine with time travelers, it’s just nice to have surprises too. This method is a good middle ground. Time travelers can time travel but we still get surprises!
@Roam85 for real, Propeller Knight felt like he had the most compelling backstory hints, and yet we got nothing. Polar Knight was probably second. I enjoyed the King Knight campaign but no one would have noticed had it been left out.
@Severian yeah, Ironman definitely wasn’t an A-list hero before the MCU but I see the point about everyone being so similar in personality. There’s a reason why the joke is that the DCU is dark and edgy while the MCU is just comedy. There are outliers, but it is a shame they strip so much from the comics, which are way more diverse. That’s not to say I personally don’t like any MCU movies... but I entirely see that point and can agree. Once again, maybe things will change now that casual fans are losing interest in the MCU... imagine an MCU that actually caters to Marvel fans!
Interesting to learn that about Kamala, I appreciate the knowledge! I wasn’t very aware of the controversies (heck, I wasn’t aware of the character until a couple years ago, to be honest).
I’m surprised you didn’t mention X-men in the politics examples, as them being a parallel for the civil rights movement is mentioned nearly as much as Captain America beating up literal Nazis. But yeah, comics are definitely great media for speaking on political issues, whether we agree with them or not. I’m not the best expert on history, but if I’m not mistaken that was more or less their original purpose. But then again, that’s just a lot of storytelling...
And yeah, I honestly haven’t been reading the other comments here but I assumed it’d mostly be a dumpster fire. I’m not necessarily a fan of Larson, but there’s few actors I can think of that seem to generate more fights and I mostly feel it’s excessive.
As for trolls, I usually just ignore them. They just want attention. Let the mods deal with them.
@Severian yeah, given how financially successful the MCU has been for Marvel, I’ve hardly been surprised by them choosing to use those versions in their comics. Despite the fact that a majority of the movie fans are not the type to read comics anyways. To a business who’s out of touch with their fans, it makes logical sense, but once you’re aware of your demographics, it sorta falls apart. Then again, perhaps there are a number of younger fans that prefer the versions they saw in the movies? Comics are in an awkward place due to how easy it is to just find them scanned online... I’m sure their revenue has taken heavy hits so who knows what the best financial choice is for them there. Of course, collectors (and a lot of older fans) will always prefer physical comic books, and I’m sure there are some younger fans who do too, but...
Using comic characters to spread political ideas is hardly new, even the earliest comics did that (though I’m sure I’m preaching to the choir there), but you’re right that they’re used in mainstream politics even more. It’s over saturation. I think we actually hit the peak this past year though in terms of mainstream Marvel, as many casual fans will lose interest since Endgame wrapped up the three phase arc. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next, as they might be in a position where they have to try to appeal to the more hardcore fans. DC has less of a problem there because they’ve yet to reach quite the saturation levels of Marvel (mostly because they don’t have Disney to milk them to death).
@Severian oh yeah, I don’t even know many fans of Carol Danvers (at least in the comics), and I can’t say I’m a fan of Inhumans. X-Men are way better. Not that I’m a fan of Kamala either... something about her tendency to have giant hands sorta makes me uncomfortable.
And yeah, as I said continuities are a can of worms. We end up with too many universes to keep track of, and then when they do weird multiverse stuff... (Though Spiderverse handles it alright I think).
But either way, I can respect all that, thanks for being patient in our discussions rather than reverting to ugly personal attacks! Way too many comic books discussions online (or discussions online in general) turn into that, and I do agree with the points you made. And speaking of which, I still need to see the Shazam movie assuming it’s any good. DC movies of late have been hit or miss and I heard opinions all over the board on that one...
@Severian and you’re free to prefer the older Marvel and DC but that doesn’t change the fact that Ms. Marvel is currently a different character than Captain Marvel. And you just have to accept that conversations like this will happen because plenty of people use the current names and titles rather than the former ones. but I mean if you’re cool with that, that’s fine, just don’t act like someone is wrong for pointing out they’re different characters now.
@juliobrand @Severian true, but I’m talking about the modern day. At this point in time, the characters have been branched off into two different characters: there’s Ms. Marvel and there’s Captain Marvel, and calling one by the other name can make discussions rather confusing (not that comic book discussions aren’t already a can of worms there). So yeah, Captain Marvel WAS originally called Ms. Marvel, but now they’re two distinct characters, and we don’t live in the past, for better or worse.
@Severian just a heads up, Ms Marvel is an entirely different character with a different power set - the first Muslim Marvel character to star in her own comic series. Might need to come up with another name for the character if you don’t wanna call her Captain Marvel.
Once again, they’re failing to meet demand by creating artificial shortages which scalpers will take advantage of. I look forward to seeing people sell it for ridiculous prices. /endjoke
Dang, I didn’t think it looked THAT bad. I’m curious at least and will give it a try. I haven’t really tried MOBAs anyways (and intentionally avoided the bigger ones due to the well known toxicity) but I’m guessing this won’t even have a real chat system (for better or worse), if we go by Pokémon’s track record, so at least I won’t have to worry about seeing/hearing kids cuss at me while I’m trying it out.
@Heavyarms55 that’d be cool if they joined, yeah. I’d say with two players (neither using Palosand) we were winning at least 90% of the time (and when a third person joined it was a certain victory), so four Palosand seems like overkill, but I’m sure it’s effective! But it’s frustrating that the biggest obstacle isn’t the opponent, it’s the AI partners. With two players we usually could KO it with only two deaths, but we were hitting it pretty hard. 3-4 turns it usually took, 5 if we were unlucky.
@Heavyarms55 had a feeling it was possible but extremely luck based. Considering that, with bad luck, you can lose in 3 turn with just the CPU faints (possible with 2 players but it eliminates one of the problems). Even with 2 players, it wasn’t guaranteed, we still could lose if the CPUs were particularly dumb... but we were winning a majority of the time, once we found a good rhythm. He was using rhyperior with lightning rod (which was a double edged sword, as mentioned) while I was using either Eternatus or sandaconda. Eternatus hit slightly harder but oddly enough seemed to take more damage... but a few well timed recovers fixed that. Sandaconda was still more reliable.
Either way, interesting to hear from someone who solo’ed it. I imagined it could be done, but it seems more trouble than it’s worth. 😅
@NookMiler then we wouldn’t get the reward. It would’ve been sad... but a million was an attainable goal, they probably didn’t think it would be risky and they were right
@Anti-Matter any form of Pokémon in the Pokedex can be transferred Into SwSh. If it’s in the either of the Pokedexes in the game, you can transfer in their Kantonian and Alolan forms.
As for tips to beat it... for one, are you doing it alone? I’ve yet to see anyone do it without other human players (just because the CPUs die so quickly), though I can beat it consistently with two human players if we use level 100 Pokemon with type advantages. You’re going to want to either be hitting it with ground moves or use Eternatus’s signature move (which does double damage to gmax Pokemon). I wouldn’t recommend Zamazenta because it has a move that’s super effective against steel, but I haven’t tried Zacian (as I don’t have one). If you’re doing it with two players, you want to focus on offense before the CPUs die too much, and it helps to be immune to ground. With more human players, you can be a little more lenient, assuming everyone is smart with what they use. Lightning rod can help if some people aren’t using ground (but really, it’s better if they use ground because it’s super effective and has STAB, giving the biggest boost in damage). With CPUs, lightning rod might protect them... but do note that Zeraora has a move that makes all normal moves into lightning moves, as we learned when lightning rod attracted an ally’s slam. Human players hopefully won’t be using normal moves.
Basically, don’t do it completely alone and use a level 100 ground type Pokémon. That’s the best strategy.
@SuperWeird idk, I mean inklings and octolings have identical mechanics, while each character in Arms has different jumps, weights, speeds, and movement options. It’s feel weird having them all move like Min-Min (one of the fastest, lightest characters in the game)...
So I love Kingdom Hearts (mostly). And I love rhythm games. And I’ve always wanted a Kingdom Hearts rhythm game (ever since Theatrhythm).
I’m not upset by this existing, I’ll even get it. I’m not happy about the canon story that will definitely be relevant to future games. Mainly because rhythm games are a “love or hate” kind of genre. People who love rhythm games will enjoy this (assuming it’s polished), but people who don’t like them... well, those fans are out of luck. They’ll have to watch the story online. It sorta alienates fans, as it really shares no similarities in gameplay with the rest of the series. I have friends who are fans of the series and they have to pass because they don’t enjoy rhythm games. This shouldn’t have had a canon story, it should be pure fan service.
Also, if the game isn’t polished, this will be KH2 Atlantica all over again. Please Square, please make sure this is at least polished.
I’m looking forward to this despite being annoyed that it has story relevancy.
@Harmonie I probably wouldn’t be interested if they removed the rails. That’s part of the charm and it would just feel too different. Maybe if the series had regular releases, but for the first Snap game in over 20 years, I want the same mechanics with just new areas and Pokémon.
@Heavyarms55 maybe. I just can’t help but picture it as a lot of the 3D Castlevania games. WayForward isn’t exactly the largest studio, so I can’t imagine it looking impressive. But maybe they’d surprise me. I like it 2D though.
Oof. And I considered backing this. Glad I didn’t, I was hoping for a bit higher quality than it seems to be, like along the same level as Stardew. Gladly will pass, got more than enough on my wishlist.
On one hand I love rhythm games and have always begged for a KH one. On the other... after the DLC with KH3, I haven’t forgiven Square and my interest in one of my favorite series hit an all time low. And on the third hand... even if this is reliving the plots, it’s definitely gonna add new canon story moments and that’s dumb. If you wanna understand KH4 (assuming that’s possible anymore), be prepared to pass all 140 songs on proud mode for a secret ending or some crap... :-/
@Heavyarms55 I agree - the only reason Metroid managed as a 3D series was by branching into another genre. I can’t see Shantae doing that well without losing its entire identity, and Metroidvanias don’t really translate well into 3D...
Not sure that inspires me with confidence. I love Shantae but I don’t think it’d translate well into 3D. In fact, the idea of a 3D model of Shantae sorta scares me, that’ll look so awful...
@gblock I’m guessing it’s in bulk. With the amount of time it can take to collect the clams and sit there crafting it, I’d pay bells for just a bunch of it.
@Smashfan508 yeah, I saw the wiki but I’m also aware of those Blargg appearances too, I was a big fan of the old cartoon! I do like the SMW version of blarggs most but the Galaxy 2 versions are pretty epic (maybe not quite as goofy). I’m neutral on the Yoshi’s Island versions, and I honestly do not like the Yoshi Story version (losing the vaguely dinosaur/draconic shape was a bit much, along with the arms). And yeah, they announced in the latest update that it was the final major one. People are still split on whether that means we’ll still have smaller updates or if it’s the last one aside from bug fixes. I think smaller updates might happen if the game remains popular enough and they want to boost sales a bit. I don’t think they’re necessarily set on that choice yet.
@Smashfan508 If you wanna see what they looked liked in Yoshi’s Island and Story, the wiki has some good images. They don’t really look that similar though. Oh, I also love them for their goofy name though too. It’s literally just the sound they make when they pop out of the lava. Either way... yeah, maybe in SMM3, I’m not holding onto hope for more SMM2 though, since they already said the last update was the final major one. I’ll always cross my fingers though. Underrated little guys.
@Smashfan508 they actually have been in a few other games, such as Yoshi’s Island and Yoshi Story, but their design hasn’t been consistent. They also have a lot of variants. There’s Gargantua Blarggs, Nep-Enuts, and Blarggwich from Yoshi’s Island, and Magmaarghs from Super Mario Galaxy 2 (and in several later games). The original Blarggs though haven’t appeared in 3D, which is a shame. They were gonna be in Super Mario 64 and theirs prototype images but they were cut. I just loved how goofy they were though. Like, they’re this little mini jump scare but then they just have this goofy grin. I don’t know if they’d be the best, but they’re my favorite and I think they’re underrated. I was hoping so badly they would appear in Super Mario Maker 2...
And I agree. It’s important to hold onto positivity right now.

@garfreek that both changes the way the mechanic functions heavily while also making it unbalanced for different “roles”. I still see no way to properly implement it in couch coop and stand by my opinion that they’d be cutting a key component of the game out if they removed it.
Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Players Discover '4th Level' Glitch Workaround
Personally, I’d be too nervous to place anything up there. What if they do patch it out and things just get stuck up there? Besides, I keep running out of space with three levels, I don’t know where I really would put a fourth level. Wish there was a way to get a bigger island!
Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Players Discover '4th Level' Glitch Workaround
Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Players Discover '4th Level' Glitch Workaround
@Mr-Glissando hm. My frame rate has been silky smooth and I haven’t heard any friends complain about it either. Even when on an island with 7 other players, I haven’t had frame rate drops.
Re: The Remaster Of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Won't Support Local Multiplayer
Re: The Remaster Of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Won't Support Local Multiplayer
@ATaco no. They’ve delayed the game, what, 3 times? I sure as heck don’t want to wait even longer for this!
Re: Talking Point: Does Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Rollout Of Event Updates Make It Feel 'Incomplete'?
I like the way it’s being handled. It’s hard to be involved in the AC community if you aren’t a time traveler and the time traveling players constantly share stuff that would be spoilers if you’re playing day by day. I’m fine with time travelers, it’s just nice to have surprises too. This method is a good middle ground. Time travelers can time travel but we still get surprises!
Re: Random: The Pokémon Company Re-Uploads Its Pokémon Unite Videos, And Fans Aren't Happy
Still going to give this a try. I think it looks good but am disappointed Tencent is involved.

Dang, wish I saw some of these confirmed hermit crabs. Now I never will. 😩
Re: Donkey Kong Country Swings Onto The Switch Online SNES Library Next Week
About dang time. Now give us the other two DKC games.
Re: Yacht Club Is Seeking A Gameplay Programmer For A New 3D Project
I just want online for Showdown. Please. it’s so fun with other players and I’ve barely gotten to do that.
Re: Yacht Club Is Seeking A Gameplay Programmer For A New 3D Project
@Roam85 for real, Propeller Knight felt like he had the most compelling backstory hints, and yet we got nothing. Polar Knight was probably second. I enjoyed the King Knight campaign but no one would have noticed had it been left out.
Re: New eShop Release Final Sword Includes Zelda's Lullaby As Background Music
As my mother once told me, it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.
Maybe that’s not a good proverb when it comes to breaking copyright laws.
Re: Random: Brie Larson's Boyfriend Said She Was Taking Super Mario Galaxy Too Seriously, So She Threw Him Out
@Severian yeah, Ironman definitely wasn’t an A-list hero before the MCU but I see the point about everyone being so similar in personality.
Re: Random: Brie Larson's Boyfriend Said She Was Taking Super Mario Galaxy Too Seriously, So She Threw Him Out
@Severian yeah, given how financially successful the MCU has been for Marvel, I’ve hardly been surprised by them choosing to use those versions in their comics.
Re: Random: Brie Larson's Boyfriend Said She Was Taking Super Mario Galaxy Too Seriously, So She Threw Him Out
@Severian oh yeah, I don’t even know many fans of Carol Danvers (at least in the comics), and I can’t say I’m a fan of Inhumans.
Re: Random: Brie Larson's Boyfriend Said She Was Taking Super Mario Galaxy Too Seriously, So She Threw Him Out
@Severian and you’re free to prefer the older Marvel and DC but that doesn’t change the fact that Ms.
Re: Random: Brie Larson's Boyfriend Said She Was Taking Super Mario Galaxy Too Seriously, So She Threw Him Out
@juliobrand @Severian true, but I’m talking about the modern day.
Re: Random: Brie Larson's Boyfriend Said She Was Taking Super Mario Galaxy Too Seriously, So She Threw Him Out
@Severian just a heads up, Ms Marvel is an entirely different character with a different power set - the first Muslim Marvel character to star in her own comic series. Might need to come up with another name for the character if you don’t wanna call her Captain Marvel.
Re: Pokémon HOME Servers Struggle To Keep Up With The Demand For Shiny Zeraora
Once again, they’re failing to meet demand by creating artificial shortages which scalpers will take advantage of. I look forward to seeing people sell it for ridiculous prices. /endjoke
Re: The Pokémon Unite Presentation Has Already Been Disliked 150,000 Times
Dang, I didn’t think it looked THAT bad. I’m curious at least and will give it a try. I haven’t really tried MOBAs anyways (and intentionally avoided the bigger ones due to the well known toxicity) but I’m guessing this won’t even have a real chat system (for better or worse), if we go by Pokémon’s track record, so at least I won’t have to worry about seeing/hearing kids cuss at me while I’m trying it out.
Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield Trainers Reach Special Zeraora Max Raid Battle Goal
Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield Trainers Reach Special Zeraora Max Raid Battle Goal
Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield Trainers Reach Special Zeraora Max Raid Battle Goal
@NookMiler then we wouldn’t get the reward. It would’ve been sad... but a million was an attainable goal, they probably didn’t think it would be risky and they were right
Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield Trainers Reach Special Zeraora Max Raid Battle Goal
Re: Smash Bros. Ultimate's Min Min: Alt Costumes, Kirby, New Stage And Full Song List
@SuperWeird idk, I mean inklings and octolings have identical mechanics, while each character in Arms has different jumps, weights, speeds, and movement options. It’s feel weird having them all move like Min-Min (one of the fastest, lightest characters in the game)...
Re: Square Enix Officially Confirms Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory For The West
Re: Rumour: Pokémon Fans Speculate That Next Week's 'Big' Announcement Is Let's Go Johto
Oh man, I hope so. Johto was my fav region. Anything to see it in 3D.
Re: A New Pokémon Snap Game Is In Development For Nintendo Switch
@Harmonie I probably wouldn’t be interested if they removed the rails. That’s part of the charm and it would just feel too different. Maybe if the series had regular releases, but for the first Snap game in over 20 years, I want the same mechanics with just new areas and Pokémon.
Re: Nintendo Just Launched A New Game And You Can Download It For Free Right Now
@krabbiekassie you’re completely missing the joke.
Re: WayForward Says It Will Consider A 3D Shantae Game When The Time Is Right
@Heavyarms55 maybe. I just can’t help but picture it as a lot of the 3D Castlevania games. WayForward isn’t exactly the largest studio, so I can’t imagine it looking impressive. But maybe they’d surprise me. I like it 2D though.
Re: WayForward Says It Will Consider A 3D Shantae Game When The Time Is Right
@Dragonslacker1 BT is an autocorrect typo when it meant to say “by”. I have no idea how I missed that. My bad.
Re: Review: Summer In Mara - Alluring Presentation Hides A Fundamentally Flawed Adventure
Oof. And I considered backing this. Glad I didn’t, I was hoping for a bit higher quality than it seems to be, like along the same level as Stardew. Gladly will pass, got more than enough on my wishlist.
Re: Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory Announced For Switch, Launches This Year
On one hand I love rhythm games and have always begged for a KH one. :-/
Re: WayForward Says It Will Consider A 3D Shantae Game When The Time Is Right
@Heavyarms55 I agree - the only reason Metroid managed as a 3D series was by branching into another genre. I can’t see Shantae doing that well without losing its entire identity, and Metroidvanias don’t really translate well into 3D...
Re: WayForward Says It Will Consider A 3D Shantae Game When The Time Is Right
Not sure that inspires me with confidence. I love Shantae but I don’t think it’d translate well into 3D. In fact, the idea of a 3D model of Shantae sorta scares me, that’ll look so awful...
Re: Nintendo Just Launched A New Game And You Can Download It For Free Right Now
I dunno, sounds a bit bland for the price. 😜 I can get plenty of more interesting free games on my phone.
Re: Random: Ever Wondered What Items And Furniture Animal Crossing Players Buy Online The Most?
@gblock I’m guessing it’s in bulk. With the amount of time it can take to collect the clams and sit there crafting it, I’d pay bells for just a bunch of it.
Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Adds Cute Summer And Winter-Solstice Seasonal Items
Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Adds Cute Summer And Winter-Solstice Seasonal Items
Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Adds Cute Summer And Winter-Solstice Seasonal Items
