@Anti-Matter @DreamlandGem The title 'Artists Are Already Creating Elephant Mario Fan Art And It's Brilliant' uses the phrase ',and it's brilliant' as tag comment/opinion of the writer that might not actually be expressed. A well used tactic of click-bait journalism.

An example of how to express this descriptively instead of subjective opinion is:

• Take a look at talented fan art of Elephant Mario
• Artists have already begin creating Elephant Mario content
• Check out these well-crafted Elephant Mario drawings
  etc

I yearn for the days editors don't push click-bait style journalism on its writers or readers.

I'm looking forward to the creative direction, although that's not to say I won't miss the New Super Mario bro's art style.

Also Nintendo Life, please consider the less click baiting article titles. There are infinite more ways to express how great fan art is without it.

@Savage_Joe The author makes a snide jab at players who might have actually experienced the track on a different platform. It's not exactly welcoming journalism.

It's a bit dismissive to discount first time gamers who discovered the MK series on Mario Kart Tour, especially when the app is designed to invite new players into the core games. Maybe show a bit more love and respect for those players and the game itself.

I think it's unfair to keep comparing this to MK8D deluxe art style. It's uniquely different and built in a different engine, This booster pack clearly has enough content to be it's own game, Nintendo just didn't want to split the fan base and have 2 separate mainline Mario Kart games on one platform. I for one am grateful I get to play 2 whole games in one!

I don't understand people who say it's a dead game. The lobbies literally fill up in seconds you never have to wait long to rejoin a new one.
Theyre constantly adding new costumes and maps.
People who say dead game are the same people who say "this still exists?" when Pokemon Go gets mentioned.

When are they going to release Pokemon Sleep? Swear they announced that like 2 years ago and haven't heard a peep since.

I believe it'd be perfect for parties. Set it up and put it on in the background, letting people come over and add songs, similar to how many of my other friends use their PS4, except the switch is lighter and more portable.

Was upset with the lack of information regarding Nintendo's relationship with DNA and coverage on their mobile games. Really didn't want Super Mario Maker 2, it only really works efficiently in handheld mode.

It's a nice idea to lock paid DLC behind NFC but the truth is there is no security to NFC, these can be 'hacked' and manipulated by various software leaving people with easy access to Nintendo's software for free.

It would be cool if the new pokemon game had Amiibo support that linked to Pokemon Go. Most smart phones have the ability to scan NFC, you could take your pokemon with you to raids or level them up in the real world then take them back to totally destory some magikarp.

I know we joke about stability but I'm actually glad it's here. Last night I was playing Gonner and for the first time, a switch game crashed on me. That had never happened before version 4.0.0.

I'm definitely going for cartridge on this one. I have a rule for switch games, online multiplayer - download, single player/campaign -
catridge. I don't see a point in keeping a game I've completed 100% on my system with what I describe as having no replayability compared to online games you can play again and again and have quick and easy access to.

We are very unlikely to get a Super Mario Maker port when one already exists on the 3DS and as far as I can see it just won't be compatible with Switch, possibly tablet mode, but certainly not docked, the latter to be considered the switch's main mode.

In addition the touch screen on the switch is heat sensitive rather than touch like the Wii U game pad and 3DS. If SMM is bundled with a touch stylus, then Nintendo might be in buisness.
