They have payment plans to soften the cost. Still too pricey for me though

I hate how time-consuming it is to build a metagame team. There should be a tournament mode that lets you set IVs and EVs to whatever you want (within legal limits of course) and access to all required items without having to grind for points in Battle Frontiers etc.

When I used to have loads of free time I didn't mind breeding for IVs, hatching eggs etc but now I just want all the time consuming activities to be removed or streamlined. I can't imagine how long it took to breed perfect IV Pokemon pre-Pokemon XY!

For that price they should be a perfect fit and feel as premium as the official Joy Cons!

@Fandabidozi Yeah I mostly played Sun in the evening and wished I'd bought Moon instead. Why GF changed daytime from 8am-8pm to 6am -6pm I don't know....

@TheGameSquid SuMo were disappointing, rushed and bare bones titles. USUM sound more of the same. Personally I'd say not to buy any of them lol

@samuelvictor Daytime in Sun runs from 6am - 6pm (real world time) and daytime in Moon goes from 6pm - 6am.

I bought Sun and it drove me crazy how early nightfall was so choose the game based on that lol

As for the movie itself, I liked it! The criticism about the plot is warranted: random heavy scenes, pointless Team Rocket appearances, not showing the battle with Ho-oh (the entire point of the Rainbow Wing!). But it's an enjoyable story.

The Pikachu scene caught me completely off guard but I thought it was touching!

SMW, SMW2 and Super Mario Allstars still have the best 2D graphic style. New is horrible and plastic looking.

@Hughesy It says volumes that you're enjoying Gold more haha. GSC was the last major revamp the series got and the gameplay still holds up today. I agree they're overdue another big overhaul

I was going to praise the open world until I remembered the first time I played Mario 64. The freedom of movement and variety of environments still blows my mind today. BotW did that until I realised every area in the game is exactly the same deep down

@Nintendoforlife I also wonder why she didn't join initially: I think it was because she simply wasn't interested! (I don't know what the committee environment is like so I can't comment on that). What is disheartening is how everyone thinks she's only joining now for the publicity: it was Lindgren who brought up the issue of gender diversity, and I think she's seen his point and decided to take the post. A person is allowed to change their mind!

This has nothing to do with SJWs taking over the world or PC gone mad. Lindgren took the decision to step down so that people including Sun took notice of the underrepresentation. I don't know why she is getting the flak for joining the panel when it was his action that made her rethink her position.

Limiting Salmon Run is understandable because it's so addictive, but the time frame to play it should be wider. People have lives, you know!

Random weapons are a joke, too. SR is hard enough without having to waste time getting used to a weapon class you hate.

Still only having 2 maps in rotation at a time for Turf War is ridiculous and should have ended with the first game. Even if they doubled the number to 4, it would still offer more variety than playing one map 90% of the time.

MK64 multiplayer was better but DKR single player (or 'Jointventure' 2-player) was brilliant!

I remember thinking when MK64 came out that as excellent as it is, it lost a certain charm Super Mario Kart had and hasn't been recaptured since. MK8 is okay but it's very "flashy" (jazz music is for posers) and feels rushed (because it was, to get Wii U sales up). I can understand why SMK won the poll.
