I really don't see the problem with paying a tiny bit extra for an import, previously it would have cost a fortune, not to mention having to deal with region locking, if its an RPG in Japanese I'd leave it alone, puzzle and arcade titles though I would consider, remember they used to be pretty much for collectors only, the fact we can download and play them straight away is great, so much less hassle.
@37 UK one of the worlds largest economies and you honestly believe Nintendo will stop selling games here :/ also that mad generalization, that all brits are pirates, what's that based on? a random statistic you read on the web
Playing this for the first time, and am very impressed, obviously not a pick up & play kinda game, tutorials themselves took a while to get through, a little too much info to take in right away, but stick with it and its really rewarding.
Hardly pointless, DS successor rumors have been around for a while, and is interesting enough to attract near 100 comments at time of typing, if people are concerned their DSi's will become obsolete sooner than they imagined, then I'm sure its of great interest to those people, as well as those wondering whether to buy a DSi now or wait for the next possible handheld, much more worthy than a review of Scarface IMO.
Quirky puzzle games seem to be perfect for the DS & wii, thanks to their control methods, this one sounds like it could be pretty good, hope its good enough to stand out from the crowd.
Freedom of speech does not mean you can say what ever you want to here, people get edited and even banned for saying things which go against the rules here, like any other site or business you cannot just say as you please, freedom of speech doesn't cover such things.
Back on topic I expect we will hear more from whats confirmed, more teasers with not a lot of new content I'm guessing, most likely have to wait for E3 for that.
Hardly think going multi platform will make its fans boycott it, that's just silly, it makes sense to reach for a wider audience, and if that audience includes the other consoles then good luck to them, hardly an offensive act by going multi platform.
De Blob is a great platform game, though I did find it kind of repetitive, would finish a level then save, playing another level right away felt like a chore sometimes, hopefully they find a way to address the repetition in the sequel.
I think lz's point may be the same as mine, in that a game may offer a similar set up, but have a very different feel, you might use mostly the same moves for example, but the structure of the level layout & how new enemies react, and any other additions can end up making them very different playing experiences.
Sequels to games you like can also turn out poor, Shinobi X was a pretty average game compared to Shinobi 3, Streets of Rage 3 wasn't as good as 2 Genesis Golden Axe games got progressively worse IMO, even when the controls & objectives are the same or very similar, the overall experience can end up being surprisingly different, also vice versa applies too, wasn't a big Lost Winds fan but loved the sequel, weighing up reviews and doing a bit of research can make all the difference.
Sounds like fun can't wait to try it, great to see another mature title on wii, camera issues don't bother me too much, unless its seriously broken, so that wont deter me too much
Watched the bitmuseum videos on youtube, looking forward to any new entries, also had a look at the game Bloktonik to see how it actually plays, looks like a fun puzzle game:
Hope this series can bounce back, 1 & 2 where great, Blitz was awful IMO, still very skeptical about Sega being able to get this series back on track, heres hoping.
Thought we saw the last of FMV games ages ago, oh well it seems to have its fans, but I'm steering well clear, learned all about FMV gaming with Mega CD, apart from Road Avenger they where all awful.
They churn out these games far too regularly, if they slowed down enough to make significant changes between releases, instead of going all EA, then I might just return to the series.
out of that entire list only DQW really interests me, nintendo should seperate apps from games and have 2 lists, not likely though, took wiiware a while before it had a decent library, so early days yet for DSIware.
Guys the flags tell us where your from, no need to announce it, anyway I would have loved to have tried Spirit Tracks before its release, hope they add it as a demo to the Nintendo channel.
PH may not be my favorite Zelda game, but I still enjoyed it a lot, and can't wait to play ST, much prefer walking to each town & dungeon by foot, than by mini game though, which is what the sailing parts felt like, and no doubt the train will be the same, still can't wait to see what they do next with the stylus controls.
Sounds decent, but if I do end up getting DSI, then I think a couple of Art Style games will do for me as far puzzle games go, I'd like a bit more variety in genres before I buy the thing though.
Not a Fire Emblem fan, find the characters not being able to be revived thing annoying, never played Dig Dug but it sounds kind of fun, wouldn't spend 800 points on it though.
For $1 more your getting a much smoother version, I have this game on both VC TG version and cart SMS version, TG version is clearly better, both are identical gameplay wise, but for a tiny difference in points the TG version looks much better.
Hope there is a skeleton in it, if not could be something to add in the sequel, can't go wrong with skeletons after all, especially if you give them a scythe.
Rayman is the only series of party games that actually interest me, not a fan of the genre but still enjoy Rayman for some reason, they just put more effort in I guess,.

Re: Cosmonaut Take The Plunge With "Dive"
Well the trailer was full of blink and you'll miss it'ness (Reala-ism) but the screen shots look pretty, the description sounds interesting too.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 Coming to Wii
For a decent 2D Sonic game, I'd be willing to pay wiiware Final Fantasy ammounts of points, can't wait
Re: First Impressions: Rage of the Gladiator

Re: Review: Space Manbow (Virtual Console / MSX)
not a shoot'em up fan, but would love to see MSX on VC in the West, also nice box art, wouldn't mind a poster of that.
Re: Nintendo Download: 22-23 December 2009 (Japan)
500 points for othello, sounds good to me, hope it comes to Europe.

Re: Rabbids Go Home Recalled Due to Offensive Language?
Sounds like that "again again" tellytubby thing, where some thought it said "I got a gun", wonder what was said.

Re: Review: Shinobi (Virtual Console / Virtual Console Arcade)
@ golgo - Shinobi 3 is the best game to start with
@ ryanknight717 - 2 very different games really
Re: Review: Shinobi (Virtual Console / Virtual Console Arcade)
Looks a lot more detailed than my Master System version, can't wait to try it on VCA.
Re: Live Down Under? Try New Nintendo Games!
Guys the flags tell us where your from, no need to announce it, anyway I would have loved to have tried Spirit Tracks before its release, hope they add it as a demo to the Nintendo channel.
Re: Capcom Raising The Dead For Darkside Chronicles Launch
Some promotions are just too silly, and this definitely qualifies as one of those.
Re: Black Wii Homes in on Europe
Is it really a limited edition thing? so the color isn't here to stay, just for a lucky few.
Re: Rumour: New Mario In the Works?

Re: Review: A Boy and His Blob (Wii)
Hope this trend of 2D wii games continues, never played the prequel but will be getting the wii version.
Re: Nintendo Download: Winds, Warriors, Dinosaurs and Domo-kun (US)
Quite a busy week for downloads then, what from that list will be getting reviewed?
Re: Review: Viking Invasion (DSiWare)
300 points cheaper and I would have put on my DSIware to buy list, if I do finally get a DSI that is, but 800 points I'm afraid not, sounds fun though
Re: Spread the Handheld Joy With a "Discover DS" Party!
I really can't stand these kinds of promtions, marketing taken to extremes, maybe I'm just cynical.

Re: Wii Remote and Nunchuk Back in Black Next Month!
Black accessories but no black console? seems an odd choice to me, still they do look good all the same.
Re: Epic Mickey Character Designs Surface
Used to think the whole thing was a hoax, glad it wasn't it looks interesting.
Re: Review: Big Brain Academy (DS)
Decent pick up and play game, can't imagine why anyone would think 6 was too low, not exactly the kind of game that gets a lot replay.
Re: Review: Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap (Virtual Console / Master System)

Re: Review: Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap (Virtual Console / Master System)
Great game, but its only 100 points more for the more polished TG version though, so I would recommend that version over the SMS version.
Re: Review: Happy Holidays: Halloween (WiiWare)
This type of thing belongs in software, to be downloaded free along with the horoscope channel and the rest.
Re: Wanna Play? Ubisoft show more of Red Steel 2
That's exactly the kind of game wmp was meant for, first person sword fighters.
Re: Rage of the Gladiator - Sea Witch Trailer
Hope there is a skeleton in it, if not could be something to add in the sequel, can't go wrong with skeletons after all, especially if you give them a scythe.
Re: Sokomania Coming to DSiWare
Great to hear, at the price I'm sure it will appear on the top 20 in no time.
