You can't have a platform(s) so undeniably against third parties and for them at the same time, you can't pick and choose.

This is what you all signed up for, Nintendo Games, not third party games. Deal with it.

Konami is not dying nor are they going anywhere. Kojima (and a few others) is just one man.

A company does not die just because they don't act like they do in 90s, sure scaled back operations. They are already hiring for "A Non Hideo Kojima MGS Game", many of which did exist in the 30 yrs he was there.

I've been seen saying this ever since last year, Nintendo are no different to the likes of EA, Ubisoft, WB etc etc. In some cases, Nintendo are worst, in others third parties are worse. But only one party gets a free pass.

2016 is the Wii U's Swan Song Year. Wii U is following in the Revolution's footsteps, which is what the NX is following. All this is far too similar to each other. As for written off, the writing is and has been on the wall for a long time. Yeah none of this would be an issue if third party support simply existed.

You're not gonna like this comment but in terms of competing with the PS4 & X1, being salvagable or being positioned as many people's go to platform (First & Third party wise), the Wii U is already written off.

With or without Zelda, Wii U is written off anyways.

Looks like their timeline for console support is the same after all, it will meet the same fate as Wii U if third parties don't succeed with their initial efforts. If not, a cross platform console would almost eliminate droughts, almost.

Xenoverse is really good and despite being a DB fan, i still say no to amiibo. Goku, Vegeta or otherwise.
