@Gryffin They always had these voices, and they’re simply text-to-speech, none of the fancy stuff that’s eating RAM and drinking water.

One big difference is that in the American video, Koizumi is getting dubbed and his Mii is speaking English.
In the European video, he’s always subbed.

@ArthurFan1998 As it seems, the restriction only pertains to posting directly (like FB). Of course you can always eject your SD card and copy images from it, and sending images to a PC is also supposed to work.
