@Doom-Max even those (which I own since I'm a sucker) are nothing compared to the awesome New 3DS options. The faceplates on the N3DS and some of the designs on the 3DSXL like SNES edition, and even though I didn't like the 2DSXL much it had some heavily customised versions with new shaped bodies like the Pikachu one with the nose bump, and the Pokeball one with the button.
Unique, intentional designs that had proper R&D and manufacturing go into them instead of lazy recolours.
The amount of sanctimonious corporate shills here is unbelievable. Playing ROMs is not 'stealing', at most it's copyright infringement. The file has not been taken and completely removed from the owner. This has been proven too many times in many courts to even be a point of contention now.
Beyond that, someone downloading Power Blade II for the NES to relive some of their childhood because there's no way they can buy it isn't entitlement. Get over yourself
@SonOfDracula sounds fine to me, it's in line with other Omnic characters in the game's universe like Zenyatta and Mandatta. People look for anything to whinge about I guess.
@Saturos1 Agreed, DKC2 has such an epic soundtrack. The way they made a lot of it sound so orchestral using limited hardware, like Haunted Chase. So epic
My personal childhood favourite was always Gerudo Valley from OoT
@BartoxAbrasiveness VA work isn't a wage, it's sporadic and clearly doesn't compare to how much physical actors are paid for their sporadic work in similar big-budget blockbuster releases of that medium.
@Tober so let's compare that to Chris Pratt being paid $10,000,000 for 5 months work on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, is that the 'fair' amount since the only logic you use is how much time they work.
Usual b1tching in the comments mostly off topic. The Bastion glitch this relates to is actually hilarious, he can use his ult bombs about 20 times instead of the intended 3 so you can basically cover the map in massive red targets with bombs dropping all over the place like it's WW3.
@Xero the problem is when you give most developers extra power, and they try to do multi-platform releases they tend to target graphics over performance so you'll likely keep seeing 30FPS for those games. Like you said though I think Nintendo and indies will make good use of the hardware and give 60FPS.
There's so many Switch releases lately barely maintaining 30FPS while some console games are now pulling off 120hz, 60FPS needs to be mandated by Nintendo IMO. I don't care how pretty a game looks if they have to half the generally accepted ideal minimum framerate, this isn't the PS3-Xbox 360 era anymore.
@Cronodoug it catches the eye better when the subject is off-centre. I think the focus here isn't just Link but also the sky and verticality the game is clearly making a big thing of.
I don't even like Splatoon but the vibrant design suits the OLED model with its saturated colours nicely. Bought one of these, didn't want to miss having it in my collection!
@sixrings Any limited edition Nintendo hardware only ever goes up in resale value if kept in good condition. You can basically sell these for a profit years from now if you want to.

Re: Video: We Compare Super Mario RPG On Switch To The SNES Original
@AlexanderDaniels The fact that you go on the defensive to a joke post is totally on you though, Alex.
Re: Video: We Compare Super Mario RPG On Switch To The SNES Original
@Baker1000 Maybe someone though it sounded like a drug reference, like a crack den. I kind of does though
Re: Nintendo Unveils Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Switch OLED Bundle, Out This Month
Would have been cool to get an OLED Lite model.

Re: Talking Point: Which Is Your Favourite 3DS Theme?
SNES Famicom theme by far. Simple, colourful and perfect sounds
Re: Mini Review: Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection - A Great But Gouging, Exploitative Package
Emulation does this series justice, no need for any of this.

Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 15.0.0 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Still no themes or homescreen layout options, or proper folder support. 6 years and it's still a UI downgrade from the 3DS.
Re: Blizzard Has Temporarily Removed Two Heroes From Overwatch 2
@shining_nexus check youtube for the OW2 Bastion glitch, you won't be disappointed

Re: Alterium Shift Is A Super NES-Inspired RPG With Three Different Story Paths
@Moshugan was going to say the exact same thing. Early PS1 RPGs looks very much like this, pixel art with some basic 3D polygon design. Love the style

@Thaliard he looks like a lil cutie to me
Re: Radiant Silvergun Has Vanished From North American eShop

Re: Poll: Splatoon Switch OLED Vs. Pokémon Switch OLED - Which Do You Prefer?
Splatoon is better but the rear of the Pokemon one is what they should have done for the Splatoon one to make it perfect.
