@CJD87 That's good to hear. I will do more testing with it on a different TV, and another comparison with the Nintendo dock to be certain. I'll also check the firmware of the dock and install the latest update from last week.
@CJD87 I picked this up, but I'm having a hard time with the latency while playing through this dock. Have you noticed the delay between button pushes and on-screen response? I don't get it when I play with the Nintendo dock. Nobody has mentioned this, so I'm curious if it's the dock, or something else? Just strange it doesn't happen with the Nintendo dock.
Do any of these docks not have latency? I tried the SIWIQU Nintendo Switch 2 Dock Station and although the picture is great, I can hardly stand the delay between button pushes and response on screen. I took my switch off the dock to confirm and put it on the original dock, and it's instantaneous in handheld and with first party dock, but this dock (and maybe all of the third-party docks?) have a delayed response. Can anyone tell if any of these don't have latency?
@BenAV Good strategy. I don't have many old switch games, but apparently, the games I have and want to be available are big games. I was surprised it was full, but after I looked through the games, I could pretty quickly see why all the storage was being taken and determined I'd need a card if I didn't want to sacrifice some of the games I wanted to be available.
@BenAV I thought I wasn't worried about getting a MicroSD Express card, but then day 2 with my Switch 2, and I got the error message that my storage was full. Well, that didn't last as long as I originally thought I'd wait 6 months before I looked for a card, and here I was now searching for a MicroSD Express card already.
@armfish I had this same issue, except that they seem to slowly be re-releasing these items, and after they get re-released, I've been allowed to use them once again. For example, I had bought the DeLorean and the Jurassic Park Jeep way back when on the Switch, and both disappeared when they went F2P, but now they're available for me on both Xbox and Switch and I didn't have to buy them again.
@PoliticallyIncorrect Since this game is now Free to Play, everyone gets these updates. If you bought the Digital version or Physical version prior to it going F2P, you got a bunch of bonuses for previously owning it. The other nice thing is that if you own the Physical copy, you no longer need to use the cartridge to play!
@Blizzia @Octane Not trying to defend Epic, but now that Epic is accepting the payment, they're also accepting the credit card transaction fees. I'm not sure if it amounts to the 10% difference, but in the original scenario, Apple was likely accepting the credit card transaction fees in that 30% cut, and now Epic is taking on that fee.
@fluggy I think that's by design. You bought a single license of a game. That one license can be used by either device, which is great that they can share the same license, but you only bought one license so only one person can play it at a time. It would be cool if they let you play it on 2 consoles for free, but they're not wrong by limiting you either since you only bought one license.
@emuzonebd It doesn't slow down Windows, but I know 2 GB RAM is too low to run the game on Windows. Recommended at least 8 GB RAM, plus a decent processor.
Nintendo needs better in-house developers... 18 months and this is all they are offering for their online services...? It's cool, I guess, but it isn't offering much in improvements, just a couple of additions... I guess I'm glad developers are taking things into their own hands, like Rocket League running on their own servers.
@BenAV I'm having the same issue. I've played over 120 hours on my Switch, and it crashes after a few matches and I have to restart the game and then it usually happens again after a few matches. I thought that it was maybe an issue with putting the system to Sleep and coming back but I've found that's not the case. If it continues to happen after this next update, I'll just uninstall/reinstall the game and see if that helps.
@Bowser89 I'm in the same boat, mine mostly stays docked, but I do use it in handheld once in awhile, and after seeing this article I too unfortunately noticed this crack by the power button. After first looking at the pictures of others, it seemed crazy to me that some people had the missing chunk there too, but I can see that mine is heading that way as the crack is V shaped and I'm sure it's only a matter of time until mine has a missing piece too. Being that the Switch is portable, I did purchase a warranty so I know I can switch it out for a new one anytime, though since we can't easily transfer game saves, I'll guess I'll be holding on to it as long as I can.

Re: Switch 2 Accessory Maker Unveils Pro Controller Case With Built-In Charging
Kind of depends on what speed it charges at for how much heat may build up.
Re: Mario Kart World Was Originally In Development For Switch 1
@Fizza Also kind of wild that the Switch 1 was the longest generation from Nintendo, and it never received an original Mario Kart!

Re: Pokémon GO Is Getting Some Of Its Pre-COVID Features Back
@Roibeard64 This x100!!! There is no reason for them to decrease the distance from where it is at now. Where it is at now should be the new standard.
Re: Mario Party Superstars Will Have You Partying Like It's 1999
Should be $20, maybe $30 tops. Will wait to see if it ever reaches a reasonable price tag.

Split Screen for the Switch will FINALLY be back!!!

@emuzonebd Android-NO, Windows-YES! You can get it on Steam on PC. I own it on Xbox, Steam, and Switch. I only play on Switch now.
