In anticipation of this weekend's Miami Grand Prix, the Formula 1 Fan Pass for Rocket League is now available. The soc-car game lets you play out matches of football in the skins of your favourite Formula 1 cars from the 2022 season.
The Fan Pass will cost 1100 credits and it unlocks a newly designed car, with two more updates due later on. Plus you'll be able to race at the Miami Grand Prix on 8th May in-game and punt some balls around the course! Now, the real question is, can real-life F1 cars play real-life soccer?
From now until 10th May, fans will be able to get a free Formula 1 2022 Player Banner from the Item Shop, so you can deck out your profile with a new look.
Here's everything that you'll get in the Fan Pass:
- 2022 Formula 1 Car (Dominus Hitbox)
- 2022 Formula 1 Engine Audio
- Pirelli Wheels
- Alfa Romeo 2022 Decal
- AlphaTauri 2022 Decal
- Ferrari 2022 Decal
- McLaren 2022 Decal
- Red Bull 2022 Decal
- McLaren Miami 2022 Decal
All of these items can only be equipped by the new 2022 Formula 1 Car and you won't be able to customise this with every single item type, either. But these decals look true to the actual cars, so motorheads will absolutely love them!
Purchasing the Fan Pass now will allow you to get two more future updates for free. This summer, you'll receive five more new decals for your new car, and in the autumn, you'll be gifted three colour varients of the Pirelli Wheels in red, white, and yellow.
You can check out more details about the Fan Pass over on the official Rocket League website. Tell us if you'll be lining up at the start line in the comments!

Only 5 of the 10 team liveries? Last year's bundle had them all!
F1 is a sham and I refuse to support any endeavours with F1 involvement.
is there a Michael Masi mode? A mode where the rules change during the game to make a specific pilot win.
That would be very accurate with F1.
Thanks for posting the Hitbox, saves me from having to look it up!
I wish they'd fix the Switch version. Input lag makes it unplayable competitively.
I post this on every RL article. And psyonix doesn't care. they only care about releasing more cosmetic crap to sell instead of fixing the game.
