6 out of 10 - I vastly prefer replaying Metroid Prime 1, 2, and 3 over 4. This game reminds me of the notion "What Metroid Prime Federation Force should have been." I would like to play the real original Metroid Prime 4 that was developed back in 2017. That mysterious Blue whale looking aura of the original Prime 4. I wonder what that game could have been. Point is, I'm convinced and satisfied that Metroid Prime ended with the Trilogy for me. (As for Metroid Prime 5....Nintendo should let the original Prime 4 team from 2017 to take a crack at it.)

So long as my wallet did not contribute to this. I can continue to play my 3DS/Switch 1, and PS4. Too much backlog to add another system. (Gave my nephew my Wii U, and a friend of mine a 2DS XL, and PSvita.)
One of the main reasons why I didn't buy Zelda TOTK on Switch 1 was because I was in the state of mind of "If Nintendo made the standard price point for there switch games $59.99, why would I support them when they raise the price to a Switch 1 game to $69.99? To me, $69.99 should have foreshadowed the Switch 2 standard price for games, and to not go over that price until Switch 3, yes, Switch 3 prices for game should be $79.99, and not Switch 2 games." And that is the reason why I am more inclined to finally get a Switch OLED instead of a Switch 2 anytime soon. Heck, I have yet to get a PS5 for that reason too, I wanted to wait until there was a better version, and more content to intice me too get one. Heck, we still don't have Metroid Prime 4 yet, a game that was promised for Switch 1 owners, if anything, it's still 2017/2018 for me until MP4 comes out. Why would I purchase a Switch 2? I have Mario Kart, I have Zelda, I will eventually have MP4, heck, my Wii U is will being enjoyed with MH3U, and many other games that I wouldn't buy the switch ported version. Captain toad on wii u is fun. Xenoblade X on gamepad is more interactive then the Switch Version, and I have yet to get the Switch version.
Point is, there are a lot of Switch 1 games that I will invest in before I even think about getting a Switch 2, or even a PS5 anytime soon. MH World is still fun.
*Anyone telling me "The prices in the past were higher." Dude, it made sense back then because the notion was only Boy/Men play video games, a very small factions had girls playing games during those times. They had to price those games, and systems at a higher price. Once the Wii had brought more casuals, and women to play, eventually that was the engine that amplified women playing more and more games, and with that in mind, there was no need to raise the prices like they did back then. This was the time where $9.99 with the next system made sense and was a sweet spot, but the moment you go overboard with it and charge $19.99 more, when Nintendo skipped the $69.99 price points with only Zelda TOTK I believe to be the highest price in current era....I am left asking "Okay Nintendo...where are the other $69.99 games? Don't just had them added to $79.99 games for the next systems, no, Switch 2 game $69.99 only or lower, Switch 3 games $79.99 or lower. If you don't do that. I'll stick with my 3DS, Wii U, PS Vita, and PS4, and Switch 1.
If you mainly stick with Nintendo consoles. You are missing out on modern Resident Evil (Not cloud version) games, a Monster Hunter World like experience, a Death Stranding game. Competition is good, if one sectors games are cheaper "PS5" for those modern era, and you have a Switch 1....you know where to go. (The other has weekly/monthly sales on there flagship titles...the other wants to be Apple even more now.)
@ItsaMeMario1126 I have to agree there were some moments where I was stuck where I wish there was a hint of something like some sort of hint system that can press that wasn't the actual because the so-called hint didn't actually help me out in a way at certain points so it actually helped going online to figure out what was the next step but I like to do this thing where I wait like an hour or so for me to figure it out on my own and if I can't then I'll resort to online help
@Super_yoshi I like Sticker Star too. After playing the GameCube Thousand-Year Door in 2025, I vastly before Sticker Star due to how streamlined the battle is. No more having to worry about FP or BP. Simply collect Stickers and use those stickers to make your move. If the stickers run out (Very rarely did that happen to me.) Simply back track to collect stickers again. It's fun.
After playing the GameCube version of Thousand-Year door, I gotta say that I vastly prefer Sticker Star. I like not having to worry about FP and BP in Striker Star because they are not in the game. I simply collect stickers and use them to make my move. If I wanna use a good hammer or shoe attack, I can without using any FP, If I wanna use huge special move, I use the sticker, and not have to worry about some points requirement to use it. So long as I collected the sticker, it can be used. It's like a streamlined version of thousand year doors system mechanics the only drawback is that I'll have to collect stickers to use a tax but I'm okay with that because I like to walk around areas and if I find something that's great that's the collection aspect of the game that's a bit more streamlined and more easier so to speak than the Thousand Year Door method of trying to find different items that can enhance you in the long run I rather just have everything streamlined if you can find it you can use it so to speak you don't have to find this one item to backtrack to this other place to enhance you.
At the end of the day, these Paper Mario games are all about a different way/gimmick to make the experience different from the next. Whatever floats your boat.
@Lizuka I am actually glad WW HD is not on Switch yet. This still makes my Modded Wii U still amazing. I mean, I no longer have to purchase NES-Wii U games ever again. Along side having a Modded 3DS, therefore any games before Switch generation...in the palm of my hand.
@Lizuka I agreed with the Switch launch mainly being Zelda: Breath of the Wild. (This game alone, won't entirely get the casual gaming/family market to even get a Switch for this one game alone. So this would have enticed the usual early adopters, Zelda fans, Nintendo fans, and non-wii u gamers of that time. A good launch window has variety and would have to consider not just the gamer market, but what games will pull new consumers who may not have even considered buying a gaming device.) A good launch window would be one that pulled in not just the usual gamer, but other markets/consumers who are new to this section of entertainment.
Between Wii and Wii U for me. Wii Sports, Zelda Twilight Princess, Red Steel, heck, even Excite Truck was something that show case how this was no ordinary video game launch window. The family/casual market would have sided with Wii for this. The old folks home would have voted for Wii.
As for Wii U: I am bias, and won't go into it. But at the end of the day, it had no Zelda at launch. Given how the new market is now used to a Zelda game at launch...as much as I prefer my Wii U over my Switch....It has to be Wii and it's Global Impact, first impression of launch titles that best showcase what the console could be utilized in the eyes of especially the family/casual market.
The reason why I didn't buy Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Switch 1 was because the $69.99 was suppose to have been for Switch 2 prices for games. I didn't buy it on principle. I have other gaming options, during that time I made a decision $69.99 for a Switch 1 game that should have been $59.99 OR turn on my PS4 and get Monster Hunter World for $19.99, and Death Stranding for $34.99.
So cost/Benefit tells me to either do the same again or finally after 5 years to strongly considering getting a PS5 and buying plenty of games on sale at this moment. I could care less about Mario Kart, I have it on Wii U and Switch 1, I have Zelda, plenty of them, and Breath of the Wild to me was already the Swan Song of Zelda after years and years of linear game styles. As for Metroid Prime, Eventhough 4 is on Switch 1, the Trilogy on my Wii U was the swan song for me, and if I change my mind about that, I can always get it on Switch 1, but I won't get it if it's $69.99. I will wait or used game buying.
[What will get me to buy a Switch 2]
<ul>
A new Zelda game exclusively on Switch 2 (Not a Remake/Not a Remastered).
Shin Megami Tensei VI
Pokemon Gen 10 (I would wait for performance reviews for this game.)
Metroid Prime 5 (Exclusively on Switch 2)-</ul>
Xenoblade Chronicles X2 (Exclusively on Switch 2)
*If 3 out of the 5 I mentioned are only on Switch 2 and after seeing performance reviews, I will strongly consider getting a Switch 2, it's that simple. Make the console, and be sure make these games I mentioned and I will buy. Until then, PS5 it is. And this my friends is how Nintendo lost me as a potential buyer this year and perhaps another 2 years.
In the past, I gave this game lots of trys. Always didn't have the patience to take my time with it, and don't get me started on the UI Texts, and Sub-Menus, and customiztions, and collection of resources in order to make use of Aguments, and dont get me started on the frontier nav and understanding the Weapons. It wasn't until Xenoblade X recieved a Trailer for the Switch, then I finally on March of 2025 commited to play it all the way, and within 90 hours I did, by the time I was half way through, I managed to understand the importance of Stagger, and Topple and other things like Overdrive...overdrive was a learning curve to me. Now that I completed the story, I restarted the game in order to do all those Affinity Missions, and other things that I didn't do. Now I am almost 90hrs in and barely finished Chapter 5. Goes to show that I am truly taking my time with it. Now I wonder if there is a post game story if I didn't do after I beat it the 1st time, I guess I will find out before I end up getting the Switch Version. So glad that I finally gave it a full try.
We're mad because the natural course of switch games becoming switch 2 game should have been 69.99 we got a hint of that with tears of the Kingdom on switch for 69.99 and for a Nintendo to suddenly jump up the price skipping our expectations that it should have been $69.99 the next standard for switch successor games that's the part where it pisses me off because in reality save the $79.99 for switch three games. And some can tell me Well Donkey Kong is going to be $69.99 no no I don't care about that I care as soon as they jump up the price of any Nintendo game if they jump it up more than $ 20 to set the new standard no I'm sorry they just lost me with that
@Mando44646 Let me tell you a story that you must already know. Some people tend to forget. Not everyone has a lot of time to enjoy the entertainment of video games. My video game time is limited, and with that in mind, my wallet to invest in such a limited time I have for video game goes with that. Video games is just one section of my life that I try to make room for after work, after paying bills, after gasoline, after food, and water, after turning on the Tredmill, after mowing the lawn, after gardening, and many other factors. With that in mind:
I took a look at the Switch 2 Games, and I did not find a single game that would warrant the purchase of Switch 2 any time soon. (I will honestly explain.)
Metroid Prime 4 - I have Switch 1
Mario Kart World - Mario Kart 8 on Wii U is enough for me.
Zelda BOTW - I have it on Wii U and Switch 1
Zelda TOTK - I didn't buy it on Switch, and will buy it on Switch 1
Cyber Punk 2077 - I'll get it eventually once I get a PS5.
Bravely Default - I have it on 3DS
Yakuza 0 - Few years back I bought Yakuza 0-6 on PS4
Street Fighter - Don't care, I have Super Smash on Wii U/3DS.
Hogwarts Legacy - Played it on PS4.
Split Fiction - I'll watch streamers play this.
Raidou Remastered - After SMT III Nocture, not a fan of the look.
Tomagachi Plaza - Not thanks, I have Animal Crossing on Switch
Donkey Kong Bananza - Not a fan of Donkey Kong
Shadow Labryith - I'll play it on sale once I get PS5.
AI The sodium Files 3? - I have the 1st one on my PS4 backlog.
Super Mario Party Jamboree - Dont' want another Mario Party.
Kirby and the forgotten land - I Don't play Kirby games.
Demon X Machina - I have Xenoblade Chonicle X for Mechs.
Tony Hawk - I don't do skate boards.
Hyrule Warriors 2025 - Youtube Cutscenes, I'm good.
Pokemon Legends Z-A - It's on Switch 1
Elden Ring - PS4?...I'll get it on PS5.
Kirby Air Riders - I don't play Kirby Games.
Final Fantasy VII Intergrade - Played Remake on PS4. I'm good.
Drag X Drive - Arms All over again. No thanks.
Borderlands 4 - I have the 1st or 2nd one on PSVITA.
Hades II - I don't do indie games all that much.
Star Wars Outlaws - Star Wars? No thanks.
Professor Layton - I have the 3DS games in backlog.
Sonic X Shadows - Switch 1 backlog
Project 007 - Interested a little, but not going to buy a 3rd party for Switch 2 just for this.
So based on this...I wouldn't get a Switch 2 any time soon. I tried to be honest. Project 007 was the closest to added 1 game, but unless it's exclusive...even then...that won't be enough.
As for me getting a PS5 based on Cost/Benefit, and the odds of these games going on sale by the time I get a PS5.
Stellar Blade
Monster Hunter Wilds
Astrobot
Ghost Wire (Wish it was on PS4)
Silent Hill 2
Death Stranding 2 On The Beach
GTA VI
Silent Hill F
You may be wondering "Why only 8 PS5 games?" It's simple, this video game hobby of mine is very limited, and with every console I have had, I always prioritized trimming my catalog to a Top 10 that I would predict that I would enjoy. (With the execption of the 2020 events where after work, I would buy games on sale just to experiment, but overall finding that I was better off simply sticking with games that I knew that I would replay and value the most per console.)
@Mando44646 Video Game prices were going to raise with, or without some clown. All they can do is provide the many factors to either slow the process or amplify it. It could have been the Black/Indian Woman Clown to have done this too in some form. The only difference here is that "Orange Clown Bad", "Black Indian Clown Good." Over time it would have happened in some form. The main backlash is price of games. GTA isn't going to be $69.99 or even $79.99 , we all know should know why by now. A clown wasn't going to prevent it from happening.
@Poco_Lypso But Switch v1 does. Promises kept, promises made. That Metroid Prime 4 teaser back in 2017 I believe was my reason to get a Switch. I never go in expecting to buy the next Nintendo or Playstation because it's the newest. (Also Zelda). Current moment in time, no new Zelda game for Switch 2. NEW Zelda.
Also, It's not Tariffs, it's Nintendo's decision to delay due to there concerns on making money due to Tariffs. It's the MONEY/DECISION and the HOW CAN WE MAKE MONEY that caused the Delay. Meanwhile they are letting something like Tariffs blind them from the bigger picture here.
Sale the console at a lost per usual, and make the hard decision to sale the launch year games at a lost too, if they do this. Over time, they will recover much like the 3DS senerio. Yes, I'm saying Hardware and software sale lost as these Tarffis take effect. Drop the game price to $69.99 as it should be. Take the L, and your consumers will reward you in the long-term. If they delay the console, increase the price, and keep the game prices at $79.99....they will lose a large chunk for consumers. In other words they should take the lesser of two evils approach because that very approach is going to get new consumers and previous switch one consumers to transfer over to Switch 2.
Then over time once the tariffs have subsided and everything in the global economy has adjusted they will now be left with a bunch of consumers that transferred over to the switch 2 are now going to purchase their games even more.
@Tempestryke Agreed. For many years I didn't buy tears in the Kingdom because I knew deep down that that's $70 price point was foreshadowing the switch to being $70 but I was a fool to think that Nintendo wouldn't pull a Nintendo thing at the last minute and because of that I'm strongly considering buying a PS5 slim the cost benefit of analysis of buying a PS5 slim at this moment in time over a switch to is the price and the long-term game games that you can get on sale at this moment in time on the PS5 store will greatly outweigh the current $80 $90 price for these switch games that you're going to buy had you have bought a switch 2. Heck I am simply going to enjoy and find more value in my Switch 1 and plays games that I didn't see myself playing. Never have I ever completed or finished all the way through a file of fire emblems game hack them I'm thinking about playing Fire Emblem Shadows of valentia on my 3DS and if I like it because I play games mainly for the story and I think that's on the 3DS has the most story oriented voice acting and if I like that I'll consider getting the Fire Emblem and gauge on the switch and the other the three houses you know point is to find more value in your switch one and play the backlog like there's so many games I bought that were on sale like in the event that I get a switch to in the Far Far Future I'm not talking about anytime soon once they lower the price or have a revision Home console version for $400 only and they lower the prices that's the only hook they can get me on a switch to Home console version only that is $400 and it gives you like a year of Nintendo switch expansion pack things in that nature cuz they're going to have to do a lot to win me over again if not I'm just going to enjoy my PS4 my possibly PS5 that's coming soon my modded Wii U my modded 3DS my modded Vita and I think I'm you know when it comes to this hobby I'll find some other hobbies to focus on that don't have me spending more money than the previous model
@Poco_Lypso Another factor, had they simply not integrated 4K and stuck with 1080p and keeping games locked at 60pfs for most game, and didn't try for that 120fps, we would have seen the price of $399.99 instead. Now those specs are the Switch 2, the specs we got on this so called Switch 2...are Switch 3 territory. They dun stick Switch 2 levels and went to Switch 3 alongside the $79.99 price tag for games. I want my $69.99 games that they stole from us.
@Poco_Lypso What I am telling you is that Nintendo themselves didn't see the grander picture to all of this, by simply not operating at a momentary lost as these Tariffs take into effect, they choose the route to punish the consumer market for the sake of "Lets increase the price so that we can still make profits, and not simply break even during 2025-2026". It will have a ripple effect even more to other game markets now.
DS was $40, Wii was $50, 3DS was $40, Wii U was $60, Switch was $60. One of the reasons why I didn't buy Zelda Tears of the Kingdom was because for Nintendo to charge $70 for a Switch game simply tells me that Tears of the Kingdom was being worked on for the next Switch system (Switch 2) and moving forward, Switch 2 games will be at $69.99. No problem, the problem now is the sudden jump from 99% of Switch 1st party games being $59.99 to a new standard for Switch 2 games being $79.99. (Save the $79.99 for Switch 3/Switch 4 Games. That makes a lot more since to me than Switch 2 current prices.)
Also, speaking of Tariffs for a brief moment, if you all take the time to education yourselves. You will find that Tariffs didn't do this. It was Nintendo not seeing the vitally important bigger picture here by refusing to operate at a momentary lost for the sake of future hardware/software sales. Now we have seen in the past were Nintendo would operate a few years at a stagnant lost, but if it wasn't for that lost for that moment in time, you wouldn't have had new consumers years later. And it greatly helps to Lower the Price of Switch 2 games to a reasonable $69.99. It's that simple, but they won't listen unless we vote with our wallets even more this time around.
Yes, Streamers and fans will buy this, but I am willing to bet that the consumer base, the family market one that has kids that ask for the new Nintendo....you wanna know what the parents are going to tell there kids? "You already have a Switch, you have Mario Kart, you have Zelda, I am not buying a $80 game." $80 for a video game may not seem much for some, but in the long term...the many games that kid will ask for....it all accumulates. "If i don't buy my kid the New Switch, I can still get him Switch 1 games and the chances for price drops as Switch 2 games take over in store shelves, I will find over time even more bargins."
Keep in mind that for many years, the parent(s) were accustomed to buying games at $59.99. The moment they see these Switch 2 games for $79.99-$89.99. Is the moment you lose them. They will look for the Switch 1 games still at a reasonable $59.99-$29.99 price.
And that's why the Switch 2 will struggle this year and 2026 unless they keep in mind of the future consumer base, and the parents who pay for these games.
These foldable won't last with the way they approach it in the long term. They really gotta to admit that it's best to have a foldable with 2 actually screen like the DS/3DS style, it won't look good for tablet mode due to the missing picture....but hey...that's why you should have a tablet for that or a laptop or a smart tv.
Most likely going to gift my Switch Mario Edition to my Gen Z Nephew who wasn't properly introduced to Game Culture due to him being raised on Tablets. (His father briefly introduced him to a GameCube, but he no longer has it, and the worst part is that most of the games he played were shovel wear with a hint of a few first party.
....I guess if I want my Pokemon Black/White Remake...I will choose Tepig, and stick with Gen V Pokemon in Pokemon Z-A (Much like how I treated Pokemon Sun/Moon as Pokemon Z, and Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon as Gen 7.) ....Great....and the Pokemon Company apparently wasn't very fond of the play style of Nuzlocke....and they wonder why...Pokemon fans had to get creative for games that don't get made the way that makes logical sense.
Jan 11th 2025: Its been a few days since I gave this game a try, and I really prefer New Leaf over New Horizons. The Villagers are truly there own person, not always agreeable, and those Fortune Cookies that you can unlock 1 Nintendo related items such as Zelda hat, Mario Bros items, and other stuff, make this game way better. (New Horizons was the first A.C. game I tried back in 2020, played it for a few weeks, and kept deleting, and re-downloading only to accept that I would rather explore previous games due to what I heard at the time that it's really not a true A.C. due to crafting systems and other stuff that was left out.) In the future, I will explore New Horizons again, after I experience 1 full year of New Leaf. So for me 2025 and the 2015 3DS Theme new years will be my thing for A.C.
I like play without the DLC feature in the Wii U version, while playing with the DLC features in Switch version. (I never had OCD before, but I remember when playing the Switch version I would constandly use the Heros Path feature to actually keep track of actually walking everyone, and I mean everywhere...I stopped out of burn out in less than 25% of my goal.)
Starting to wonder did this game get a 5/10 because it wasn't the Animal Crossing we all wanted? I mean, was it the equivalent to Metroid Prime Federation Force? If that was the case, I understand. But it's a board game with animal crossing theme, unlike Federation Force where they could have just put a Samus Model to lower the dislike that game got. I mean, if we got a Metroid Prime Board Game instead, I would have been interested in it.
Sept, 23 2024: Going to play this game. I really liked ZombU, and since we never got a ZombiU2, this is a more American-ized version of London...so. (I know that a Zombi game like Zombi U doesn't compare to Resident Evil and other zombie games, but it doesn't hurt to experience some games were they kinda went back to the basics of making a game on a small budget.)
August 2024 - So glad that I have yet to get this game. I won't support an Nintendo Switch game that is $69.99. Leave that price point for Next Gen. I actually had a chance to get this game went it went to a $59.99 price point, but I choose to get SMT VV for $39.99 via Walmart.
If anyone with the Original Version of this game is still on the fence if they should get it. (They really improved the Quality of Life Features, such as:
1) Speeding up the attack animation while still allowing the demons voice to still speak fully which is great instead of totally skipping the animation entirely.
2) The annoying "New" when in the menu about new demon info to analyze, they made it so that you just have to scroll to the name of the demon, then it will count as you saw the info (Not sure if I remember, but in O.G. you had to really go into the profile of the demon so that the System UI can mark it as you saw the demon.)
3) Saving anywhere like in IV seems great.
4) The menu UI system seems faster to bring up, kinda reminds me of how IV was faster to get the menu in comparison to IVA where it did a weird pause moment as if it was stuttering.
5) In playing the Cannon of Creation (O.G.) you really get to see the real version of what the game could have been had the dev team really had in mind before the rush to make the O.G. took place/delays/real world events that took place. (So...pretty much, this is 2 games in one. The O.G. game you already have was a Beta "2020 events, we don't know what the world is going to be like, so let's hurry up and sell this puppy, and worry about it later." kind of Senerio. So....if anything...the O.G. V is the "Pandemic Version".....
Extra: Oh, and these demons have traits that can benefit the experience even more. So, all more reason to finally play the O.G. Path in it's true vision.
I don't think we will get a "Switch MAX - Switch MAX Pro" until next year. We could get an accouncement by Nintendo by the end of the year of "A new system", but other than that. I think it's the Switch reveal treatment where we didn't see the system until a few months of the new year. So 2025.
@VoidofLight Don't want a repeat of the crap they pulled with S/V. (Still to this day I don't have it on my Switch Menu, I have Sword to Stratch the itch.)
@Overzeal [Pokemon Game Director Interview] "We wanted to challenge and surprise the Development team by not announcing what project we will be working on until Pokemon Day 2024, so that we would have exactly 1 year to build a massive city within the Kalos Region, we were even very fortunate to let 1 animator know ahead of time to work on the teaser for the game using our Mac Pros just in time for Pokemon Day 2024. Most of the team were excited once they saw the 2025 release date, and I vaguely remember 1 staff member asking me what other departments will be assisting us this time? I confidently responded with only us this time. We have 1 year, let's show them what we are made of."
No longer purchasing any Pokemon Game until I see Frame Rate / Performance reviews. (Ask Scarlet / Violet). My money, my life, give me good quality games that run great. (I'm okay with a massive scale city within Kalos, perhaps an underground area too.)
Still waiting for that Patch to fix Scarlet/Violet...I lost trust for this Company since then, and Sword still remains the best Pokemon on Switch to me. No more buying future Pokemon products unless I see reviews weeks after release of games from now on. (They did this to themselves). One of the biggest IP's in the world, and they still allowed this to happen without an urgency to solve the issue...
If Nintendo sales the device at a lost ($299). They could hopefully prevent a Wii U senerio. Remember everyone, this is about getting consumers to trust the next Hardware in order to sale the massive IP software of games Nintendo has. Also, with the success of a recent Nintendo Film, and Attraction Parks, the Nintendo brand has become even more accessible than just the Video Games, so with that, a great emphasis on backwards capabilities with Switch games, and increased performance/loading times/fps i.e. when starting up Animal Crossing (one example). 1080p handheld, 4K when docked, along with custom themes, and dare I say bring back MiiVerse and Integrate it with Nintendo News. Nintendo can literly create there own social media system. The Wii U was proof of that. Bring back Wii U UI design, and not some bland "Here's the game in a square box, go ahead".
Nintendo Switch2Wii "Let's Switch 2 Wii", "Let's Switch 2 GameCube", "Let's Switch 2 Wii U". Nintendo Switch2U
Happy Later Birthday 2DS! Looking back, I'll always remember how your pixel density made the screen look better than a 2DS XL or 3DS XL due to how those systems screens enlarge the sharper to look less sharp in comparsion, and in those pixel era times, a sharper image was way better than blur.
@Jeronan Wow, what a let down. Let me tell ya though. Will be the last Pokemon games that I buy on launch. Never again will I just buy a Pokemon game on launch. I learned my lesson, plus if you think about it, the best Pokemon games have already been made. No real point in rushing to buy the next one.
Have they fixed this game yet in terms of framerate drops, and overall performance? I went back to focus on Sword, and Shield because those run way better, and are more enjoyable, and straight to the point.
I gotta say, this game was a major let down. Huge fan of the 1st Revelations game. If you really like the setting and gameplay atmosphere of the 1st game, Revelations 2 is not for you. I forced myself go play it through, and will not be playing it ever again. Not worth it.
Put it this way, this is not Revelations 2, this is some other title with a Revelations 2 title to it.
It's time to change the landscape for the sake of a fresh, and new Nostalgia. Perhaps a Hyrule that isn't a big square sandbox, and more stretched apart.
@KibaLG8 Hope they bring in the Aliens because during development they showcased some Laser beams from flying saucers shooting down on Link, and in a way the weapons we got to use such as Rockets and Laser beams could foreshadow an Alien Civilization coming to harvest Hyrule for its resources, and if we could find out that they used or there home-based was the moon. Hope we end up going to space, or the game will be set in a massive space ship.
@KibaLG8 I won't get the DLC until they fix there main game. From what it looks like, I'm most likely am not getting the DLC. They brought this one themselves. How is a company like this who makes Billions mess this up? I would have been fine with more time in the oven, but it's clear that the talent isn't there, and they have deadlines due to anime, and other projects that must be set in stone...people won't forget this.

Re: Review: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (Switch 2) - Samus Returns In Prime Form
@Banjo- The real Prime 4 was robbed from us. What we got was what Federation Force should have been.
Re: Review: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (Switch 2) - Samus Returns In Prime Form

Re: Switch 2 Sets "All-Time" Launch Record For Video Game Hardware In The US
So long as my wallet did not contribute to this. I can continue to play my 3DS/Switch 1, and PS4. Too much backlog to add another system. (Gave my nephew my Wii U, and a friend of mine a 2DS XL, and PSvita.)
Re: Where To Pre-Order Nintendo Switch 2
Re: Paper Mario: Sticker Star
@ItsaMeMario1126 I have to agree there were some moments where I was stuck where I wish there was a hint of something like some sort of hint system that can press that wasn't the actual because the so-called hint didn't actually help me out in a way at certain points so it actually helped going online to figure out what was the next step but I like to do this thing where I wait like an hour or so for me to figure it out on my own and if I can't then I'll resort to online help
Re: Paper Mario: Sticker Star
@Super_yoshi I like Sticker Star too. After playing the GameCube Thousand-Year Door in 2025, I vastly before Sticker Star due to how streamlined the battle is. No more having to worry about FP or BP. Simply collect Stickers and use those stickers to make your move. If the stickers run out (Very rarely did that happen to me.) Simply back track to collect stickers again. It's fun.
Re: Best Paper Mario Games Of All Time
After playing the GameCube version of Thousand-Year door, I gotta say that I vastly prefer Sticker Star.
Re: GameCube Games Confirmed For Nintendo Switch Online On Switch 2
@Lizuka I am actually glad WW HD is not on Switch yet. This still makes my Modded Wii U still amazing. I mean, I no longer have to purchase NES-Wii U games ever again. Along side having a Modded 3DS, therefore any games before Switch generation...in the palm of my hand.
Re: Talking Point: Does Switch 2 Have Nintendo's Best Launch Line-Up Ever?
Re: Talking Point: Does Switch 2 Have Nintendo's Best Launch Line-Up Ever?
Re: Community: What Questions About Switch 2 Do You Still Have For Nintendo?
<ul>
A new Zelda game exclusively on Switch 2 (Not a Remake/Not a Remastered).
Shin Megami Tensei VI
Pokemon Gen 10 (I would wait for performance reviews for this game.)
Metroid Prime 5 (Exclusively on Switch 2)-</ul>
*If 3 out of the 5 I mentioned are only on Switch 2 and after seeing performance reviews, I will strongly consider getting a Switch 2, it's that simple. Make the console, and be sure make these games I mentioned and I will buy. Until then, PS5 it is. And this my friends is how Nintendo lost me as a potential buyer this year and perhaps another 2 years.
Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U)
Re: "DROP THE PRICE!!!" Scream Nintendo Fans During Nintendo's Treehouse Live Broadcast
And some can tell me Well Donkey Kong is going to be $69.99 no no I don't care about that I care as soon as they jump up the price of any Nintendo game if they jump it up more than $ 20 to set the new standard no I'm sorry they just lost me with that
Re: "DROP THE PRICE!!!" Scream Nintendo Fans During Nintendo's Treehouse Live Broadcast
Re: "DROP THE PRICE!!!" Scream Nintendo Fans During Nintendo's Treehouse Live Broadcast
Re: "DROP THE PRICE!!!" Scream Nintendo Fans During Nintendo's Treehouse Live Broadcast
Re: "DROP THE PRICE!!!" Scream Nintendo Fans During Nintendo's Treehouse Live Broadcast
Re: "DROP THE PRICE!!!" Scream Nintendo Fans During Nintendo's Treehouse Live Broadcast
Re: "DROP THE PRICE!!!" Scream Nintendo Fans During Nintendo's Treehouse Live Broadcast
Re: "DROP THE PRICE!!!" Scream Nintendo Fans During Nintendo's Treehouse Live Broadcast
Re: Samsung Shows Off Its Switch-Inspired Foldable Handheld
These foldable won't last with the way they approach it in the long term. They really gotta to admit that it's best to have a foldable with 2 actually screen like the DS/3DS style, it won't look good for tablet mode due to the missing picture....but hey...that's why you should have a tablet for that or a laptop or a smart tv.
Re: Poll: Will You Trade In Your Switch When Switch 2 Arrives?
Most likely going to gift my Switch Mario Edition to my Gen Z Nephew who wasn't properly introduced to Game Culture due to him being raised on Tablets. (His father briefly introduced him to a GameCube, but he no longer has it, and the worst part is that most of the games he played were shovel wear with a hint of a few first party.
Re: Nintendo Runs Out Of Replacement Parts For 2DS Systems And New 3DS LL, Ends Repairs In Japan
Well, it was good while it lasted. I'm sure there will always be special shops that can provide such repairs even more now.
Re: Pokémon Presents February 2025: Every Announcement, Full Livestream
....I guess if I want my Pokemon Black/White Remake...I will choose Tepig, and stick with Gen V Pokemon in Pokemon Z-A (Much like how I treated Pokemon Sun/Moon as Pokemon Z, and Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon as Gen 7.) ....Great....and the Pokemon Company apparently wasn't very fond of the play style of Nuzlocke....and they wonder why...Pokemon fans had to get creative for games that don't get made the way that makes logical sense.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X Fans Are Once Again Discussing The Game's 'Censorship'
We still getting some bikini's like in the Wii U version. Take what you can get people.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X Fans Are Once Again Discussing The Game's 'Censorship'
I mean, the western version still has a few bikinis, I'll take what I can get. @Jack_Goetz
Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
I like play without the DLC feature in the Wii U version, while playing with the DLC features in Switch version. (I never had OCD before, but I remember when playing the Switch version I would constandly use the Heros Path feature to actually keep track of actually walking everyone, and I mean everywhere...I stopped out of burn out in less than 25% of my goal.)
Re: Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival
Starting to wonder did this game get a 5/10 because it wasn't the Animal Crossing we all wanted? I mean, was it the equivalent to Metroid Prime Federation Force? If that was the case, I understand. But it's a board game with animal crossing theme, unlike Federation Force where they could have just put a Samus Model to lower the dislike that game got. I mean, if we got a Metroid Prime Board Game instead, I would have been interested in it.
Re: The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct
Sept, 23 2024: Going to play this game. I really liked ZombU, and since we never got a ZombiU2, this is a more American-ized version of London...so. (I know that a Zombi game like Zombi U doesn't compare to Resident Evil and other zombie games, but it doesn't hurt to experience some games were they kinda went back to the basics of making a game on a small budget.)
Re: Review: The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom (Switch) - An Absolute Marvel, But Is It Better Than BOTW?
August 2024 - So glad that I have yet to get this game. I won't support an Nintendo Switch game that is $69.99. Leave that price point for Next Gen. I actually had a chance to get this game went it went to a $59.99 price point, but I choose to get SMT VV for $39.99 via Walmart.
Re: Review: Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance (Switch) - Even Better Than The Stellar Original
Re: Talking Point: Will Nintendo Wring One More Holiday From Switch Before Revealing New Hardware?
I don't think we will get a "Switch MAX - Switch MAX Pro" until next year. We could get an accouncement by Nintendo by the end of the year of "A new system", but other than that. I think it's the Switch reveal treatment where we didn't see the system until a few months of the new year. So 2025.
Re: Pokémon Legends: Z-A Is Apparently "Set Entirely Within Lumiose City"
@VoidofLight Don't want a repeat of the crap they pulled with S/V. (Still to this day I don't have it on my Switch Menu, I have Sword to Stratch the itch.)
Re: Pokémon Legends: Z-A Is Apparently "Set Entirely Within Lumiose City"
@Zeldinion It was a parody response to the potential reason we will have just the city and not the whole region of kalos.
Re: Pokémon Legends: Z-A Is Apparently Set "Entirely" Within Lumiose City
Re: Pokémon Legends: Z-A Is Apparently Set "Entirely" Within Lumiose City
No longer purchasing any Pokemon Game until I see Frame Rate / Performance reviews. (Ask Scarlet / Violet). My money, my life, give me good quality games that run great. (I'm okay with a massive scale city within Kalos, perhaps an underground area too.)
Re: Pokémon Presents 'Pokémon Day' Broadcast Runtime Revealed
Still waiting for that Patch to fix Scarlet/Violet...I lost trust for this Company since then, and Sword still remains the best Pokemon on Switch to me. No more buying future Pokemon products unless I see reviews weeks after release of games from now on. (They did this to themselves). One of the biggest IP's in the world, and they still allowed this to happen without an urgency to solve the issue...

Re: Nintendo Will Offer "Unique Propositions" To Overcome Challenges Of Platform Transitions
Re: Anniversary: Happy Birthday To Nintendo's Ugliest, Most Indestructible Console
Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 2.0.2 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 2.0.2 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Have they fixed this game yet in terms of framerate drops, and overall performance? I went back to focus on Sword, and Shield because those run way better, and are more enjoyable, and straight to the point.
Re: Resident Evil Revelations 2
I gotta say, this game was a major let down. Huge fan of the 1st Revelations game. If you really like the setting and gameplay atmosphere of the 1st game, Revelations 2 is not for you. I forced myself go play it through, and will not be playing it ever again. Not worth it.
Put it this way, this is not Revelations 2, this is some other title with a Revelations 2 title to it.
Re: Talking Point: Could Nintendo Squeeze Another Zelda Game Out Of TOTK's Open World?
It's time to change the landscape for the sake of a fresh, and new Nostalgia. Perhaps a Hyrule that isn't a big square sandbox, and more stretched apart.
Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 1.3.1 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 1.3.1 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
@ChromaticDracula yeah, Gen 9 was a mistake. It was enough for me to say "F this $"
Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 1.3.1 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
@Suicune I redownloaded Sword, and deleted Violet. As far as I'm concerned, Gen 8 will be the last Pokemon Generation that I will enjoy.
Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 1.3.1 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
